Hey paisanos, I finally had a chance to finish this! I love the Mario Bros. Growing up, good times were certainly had with their games! All-Stars, Super Mario World, Super Mario RPG (even though we only saw Luigi in the end ), 3D Land, the Mario and Luigi RPGs, THE LIST GOES ON!

Overall, I had a blast making this. For the longest time I've wanted to make a tribute to my favorite Italian plumbers, and here it is! Hope you guys like!

Since I played Super Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi: Bowsers Inside Story I absoloutely adore Bowser... He is so cute and funny! : DD I tried to capture his typical face expression in the Mario & Luigi Games and also the style is based on the official artwork. Hope u like it.

I had to hold on to this for the last 3 months, before posting to coincide with the release of the game for Nintendo DS this Friday.

4H pencil on A4 paper and imported into Photoshop. Standard PS brushes used and custom wood textures on the walls.

Logo recreated using Inkscape.

I love the art direction Nintendo took with Sticker Star, it seems more papery than all the other Paper Mario games for some reason. I also love this boss, dunno why, must be my damn obsession with fish lately.
BUT YEAH I'm pretty happy with this picture.

so this is Mario with his quad bike. try to evoke the GTA vibe, its very LA, I guess. This artwork was very different compare to my previous artwork, try to be more fun this time
