It Feels Like WonderlandEyes flicker open and I blinked in confusion at the blurry, swirling mess that was my vision. I stayed that way, lying still as I could until the cloudy haze cleared and I was left staring at a tiny crack in the faded panels of the ceiling. It Feels Like Wonderland9 months ago in Settings More Like This
Where was I?
How was I there?
I was suddenly aware that the bed (I assume it was a bed) that I was lying on was rock solid, almost like a table and the pillow was thin and barely offered any comfort from the solid surface beneath me. I could hear a soft beep of what sounded like a heart monitor in the distance but this was accompanied by the tick of a clock or cogs moving.

silently through the crisp night air. Teeny tiny little snowflakes
dance through in the wind. Pushing them around in swirling circles.
Creating small tornadoes of snow traversing across the flat snow
covered land. Tossing the infinitely different sizes and shapes that

bigger, the massive wind still pushed them around just as much as the
tiny single flakes who were so desperately finding one another to
hold onto each other. To not be alone in their plummet to the ground

There had been shoe print

He didn't want to join a war or even yet help rescue Midgard from an invasion of demons and fallen angels.
Why Demons and Fallen Angels? Aren't they supposed not to exist? Guess he was wrong. It was his first encounter with these creatures and they were controlling human bodies or corpse that was lying around.
Loki swung his scepter, the side smacking into the possessed human

Don't breathe.
Don't think.
He might hear you.
I am pressed against the wall. My fingers are spread as wide as they will go as my palms press heavily on the drywall. I take a deep breath. Hold it tight. I feel the air escaping my lungs, my circulation; my blood thinning of oxygen as I hold, one, two, three .
I hear Him slither down the hallway. His movements are languid, snake like, as He comes after me. I can imagine it all in my head: the long, thin arms, coiling around every turn and corner, searching for me. Have you ever noticed His face? His eyesor lack thereof? I have a theory. He doesn't have eyes because
