Girls and boys, this week at The Line it is Drawn we pay homage to Bruce Timm, who just stepped out from Warner Bros animation, where he developed some of the finest shows ever. So, we draw trying to approach his inimitable style. Someone suggested the Serenity crew, and that was just what I wanted to draw this time. Time to re-watch Firefly, indeed. Browncoats forever!
DESCRIPTION AGAIN: When I was a teenager, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" was my favourite TV show. I'm watching it again, for the 3rd time. x°D I was OBSESSED with Spike, I loved him. > Riley, please, go away. I hate you.
I've finished this work days ago but I've got some problems with the internet connection. =_= This is the second version of the same illustration: you can find the first one HERE: [link]

James Marsters is Spike. Spike (alias "William the Bloody") @"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" by Joss Whedon. .outfit: Season 4-5.
I've recently started watching 5th season of "Angel" and boy, it's actually very good! (Especially in comparision to the previous 4, which in my humble opinion were watchable only because of Wesley and Cordy and Lorne. I was literally skipping some parts of other characters, ugh). And then this episode happened.
For those who don't know. The episode is called "Smile time" and here's wikipedia description: [link] In short: they were fighting againt the demon puppets who were running the kids' show (and sucking out their souls) and Angel got turned into a puppet himself. This was officialy the most hillarious thing ever. So I just had to draw a fanart.
Lorne's in there because I love him, and hey, it's my first Spike ever! (and he looks actually very good, I'd say!)
And my black promarker died on me in the middle of Spike's coat TT^TT
