A New Dawn - Chapter 6
Dionne closed her eyes and rested her head against the cold durasteel of the turboshaft. The cold steel sent a shiver down each of her lekku as goose bumps formed on their skins surface. Behind the darkness of her eyelids she relived the scene of the alien she had killed earlier that night. The whole ordeal playing itself over and over in her minds eye. The sound of the aliens blaster being pulled clear of its holster had boomed in her ears far louder than it should of. It was as if her mind had somehow given her the ability to hear as well as a Mustapharian lavahound to warn her of the impending danger. She still did not know how she did it, how she knew to spin at just the right time to catch his wrist, to sidestep his stance to come around him, wrist still in hand and to twist the large aliens arm behind his back at such a fierce angle that she had felt something pop in the large man's shoulder. All of which had made her wonder where she had gotten the strength to achieve such a fea

The level of tension in the room couldn't be cut through even with a saber. They had been going at it for hours and yet A'yumi could not get through to Raessa.
"You'd think after having a child for an extended amount of time, you'd realize what protect means..." A'yumi said bitingly. "She isn't your drinking buddy, or your toy or even your mistress at this point. I get that she's not fragile anymore but...for the sake of Allya...just chill the fuck out with getting her into trouble. She's going to start remembering things, then what are you going to do? What if she fully recalls what she is able to do and you two are stuck in some piece of bantha shit bar and she is uncontrollable...what..will...you..do."
Raessa content as ever with her answers sat there smugly with a smirk on her face. "I don't know and I don't care." she replied curtly.
The whites in A'yumi's eyes grew black as fire crackled within her palm as if something w

Two Weeks Ago: Hoth
Despite the best cold weather gear the Empire could afford, Lord Anodyne Vao was losing the battle to make her teeth stop chattering. Hoth on a nice day was one of the most inhospitable planets in the known galaxy, and this was not one of those days. It had been a hour since the engines of their speeders had seized, frozen solid from the cold. Even with the help of the force the cold and wind blown ice pellets had slowed their pace to that of a infants crawl. An hour, it had taken them to hike the half kilometer to their current location, of which was the shattered edge of a crater, overlooking the mostly intact wreckage of the Republic cruiser once known as “Utopia”.
The “Utopia” along with hundreds of over vessels had been lost in a battle between Sith and Republic forces some thirty years prior during what was now being called the Great Galactic War. Since that time, it had been a three way race between the Sith, Republic and pirates to sa

Behind a half oval desk of pure polished white marble she sat staring out at the landscape of Imperial City, the capital of Coruscant. Night was beginning to fall of on the planet city, its normally blue sky, caught between the pink horizon of sunset and the looming darkness of night. It was Tuesday on the planet, and that meant that it would rain tonight. One of the benefits of living on a planet where the government controlled when it rained, when it was cloudy and when the sun came out. It meant that important outdoor functions were never rained out, and that those functions unpopular with the reigning government, like say a pro democracy rally often faced a stormy day during their event.
She did not mind the rain, in many ways she liked it. The planet always seemed to smell fresher after the rain. Even if it was artificially generated, like so many things on this planet. The thought of artificial creations caused her to look at her left arm in thought. It to was artificial. A cyber

Anodyne looked over the contents of the datapad in her hand one final time before shutting it off and handing it back to her twi'lek apprentice Ari'tana. "It is as good a plan as any. Marginal risks, and a better than average chance of success. Good job Ari'tana." Anodyne said in genuine praise. "Thank you Master." The pink skinned alien said, taking the datapad. "Shall I bring her to you once I have freed her?" Ari'tana asked as she stuffed her datapad away inside her robe. While the robe that Ari'tana usually wore kept her mostly covered, the outfit that Anodyne glimpsed beneath it was one that would make most of the inner core of the galaxy blush. Not because it was revealing, it was not. But it was how it fit, skin tight, and leaving nothing to the imagination. It was almost if Ari'tana's body had been dipped in a pool of liquid leather and latex. As always twin lightsabers hung from the twi'leks belt, the only accessory outside of the twi'leks boots that did not fit her

At the bottom of the Great Pit of Carkoon, the feared and deadly Sarlacc waited patiently in silence for it’s next meal. Thirty feet above the hundreds of teeth that ringed the Sarlacc’s gaping maw, Anodyne Vao, Dark Lady of the Sith was ready to give the Sarlacc that very meal. Before, bound in stun cuffs and clad in old dirty cloaks stood three Jawa’s, faceless except for the pair of glowing yellow eyes that peeked out from the black voids under their hoods. There had been ten Jawa’s originally, when she and Iveta walked into her safehouse to find the little scavengers busy stripping the place bare. The other five had been killed when they tried to resist capture, two more had died under interrogation, leaving Anodyne to try a more persuasive approach with the final three.
“I will ask only three times.” Anodyne said allowing the full anger she felt to be heard in her voice. Unlike most humanoids the Jawa’s did not seem susceptible to

The click and whirl of spinning servos woke Lady Dionne Vao from her unintended slumber. She felt the table beneath her begin to move, its movement seeming to erase the vision of the voluptuous chalk twi’lek that was just a moment ago hovering over her. The harder she tried to remember the twi’leks feature, the further from her minds memory it slipped. She had to wonder, if she knew the woman, or if it was just another one of the wild dreams she had been having as of late.
Bright light temporarily blinded her as she opened her eyes. The cold shell and unfeeling eyes of the 2-1B medical droid that interrupted the blinding beams of light from the rooms lights. As her eyes adjusted she watched as the droid worked in silence pulling the various medical probs that were stuck to her skin at various points around her body. She had to resist the sudden urge to bitch, thousands of years of medical advancement and they still couldn’t invent probes that did not sting when unc

Three Weeks Later.
Galactic Space Sector: Seat of the Empire
Imperial Holonet Relay Station 286
Their blaster rifles trembled in their hands as the skeleton crew of the Imperial relay station watched as a crimson blade slowly and methodically cut its way through the double blast doors that lead into the stations small command center. It was just supposed to be a regular inspection they told themselves as they had watched over the ships security cameras as a cloaked figure in black, trailed by another cloaked in brown cut his or her way through the engineering crew with a lightsaber. They had tried to send a distress call to Dromund Kaas, but quickly found out that all forms of communication were being jammed. One spoke of surrender, to plead for mercy, but the other two knew better. They had served under Sith before in previous commands, and knew that there would be no mercy. So they choose to fight, grabbing the generation old blaster rifles from the weapons locker before closing the
