This art is made from refreshing, morning green tea with lemon aroma. Dragon came by itself. Little, vicious and with sting full of citric acid. I need to remember about him when I'm going to bake an apple pie. Yummy!
Here you can see animation of creating this pic: [link]
My half of a long, long, long overdue trade with ~Ryukurei , her character Daenkoyah! Preparing for a flight into misty mountains, despite what all the Elders say about the dangers of flying blind!
View her lovely awesome drawing of my character Brumefeu here -
He may be a dragon but he has to be one of the most challenging dragons I have ever had to draw. This is the closest I could get to his design after several re-attempts and eventually coming back an finishing this one.
Critique is most welcome. I've run out of further ideas for the bg so fire away!
A drawing I did for my independent study class this past semester (spring 2011). I wanted to finally commit and PAINT one of the dragons that I always doodle on the back and edges of everything. I feel that I will likely continue to work on it off and on, I'm not entirely satisfied with parts of it. But, this is what I turned in and received a nice A for. He said it was especially for all those scales...ugh....
Finally the colored version of the colaboration with ~rafaelahaiabe She did this wonderful lines of my sona Aquaeris :3 I just love the lines and it was a lot of fun to color this one. It's my second digital artwork and i like it much more than the first one xD As i promised it's a picture with summer colors again :3
I hope you like it!
Lineart and the other 3 little dragons belong to ~rafaelahaiabe Aquaeris and Coloration belong to me! XD
Li flew at Tholaxxius, mouth open and claws out. Tholaxxius sideslipped away, but Li still got a mouthful of wing. She tore away the thin skin and blanked as she climbed. Tholaxxius roared in fury and breathed fire in Li's wake. It didn't do any good. Like him, she was immune to fire, he may as well be blowing hot air at her. He flapped his wings and climbed after the fast rising Li. He snapped at her tail, from which he barely managed to catch the whipping tip between his jaws. He jerked her out of her graceful ascend and into a thumbing fall. Li uttered a savage roar, twisted her body around and shot downwards like an arrow. When her heavy body collided with his, the force of the impact shook the ground.
Jerome, Eva, Jon and Joe, who had been watching the titanic battle with fascination, were knocked off their feet. When Jerome managed to get back on his feet and cleared the dust from his eyes he could see the two battling dragons rise from the ravine again. The violence of their beating wings almost knocked him down again. "What are they doing?! Are they fighting each other?" Jon yelled at Jerome as he peered from behind the boulder where he had taken cover.
"Well, either that or they are mating." Jerome said slyly as he turned his attention back to the two battling dragons.
"R..really? You think so?" Stammered Jon. "I mean, I think they are fighting, look at how he's biting her and why would he try to grab her like that if not to hurt her?"
"That doesn't mean anything." Jerome replied with a grin. "Why, on my wedding night....but that's not important right now, is it? We better get out of here while we still can."
It's a scene from my story: The Twin Fires. About time I did a dragonbattle picture. And I rather like the new coloring technique. Design of the dragons based on those of D&D
What is THIS? What is happening? I seem to be on an art/dragon rampage. Yay! And now we have color. I quite like this style. What do you think? Dragon is inked and shaded on paper, then colored in PS. So is it digital or traditional??
