This art is made from refreshing, morning green tea with lemon aroma. Dragon came by itself. Little, vicious and with sting full of citric acid. I need to remember about him when I'm going to bake an apple pie. Yummy!

My half of a long, long, long overdue trade with ~Ryukurei , her character Daenkoyah! Preparing for a flight into misty mountains, despite what all the Elders say about the dangers of flying blind!
View her lovely awesome drawing of my character Brumefeu here -
He may be a dragon but he has to be one of the most challenging dragons I have ever had to draw. This is the closest I could get to his design after several re-attempts and eventually coming back an finishing this one.
Critique is most welcome. I've run out of further ideas for the bg so fire away!
A drawing I did for my independent study class this past semester (spring 2011). I wanted to finally commit and PAINT one of the dragons that I always doodle on the back and edges of everything. I feel that I will likely continue to work on it off and on, I'm not entirely satisfied with parts of it. But, this is what I turned in and received a nice A for. He said it was especially for all those scales...ugh....
What is THIS? What is happening? I seem to be on an art/dragon rampage. Yay! And now we have color. I quite like this style. What do you think? Dragon is inked and shaded on paper, then colored in PS. So is it digital or traditional??
Gradient-shaded comish for SunBlazeWildFire of FA for a dragon for a game he's working on.
Decided to go toward a kind of combination robust/playful dragon, from the refs I was given. He seemed to have a lot of personality. ^^
Also wanted to do a vertical-oriented pose since I always do landscape poses to make room for those big dragon wings! X) I really like how he turned out - I was a little on the fence for redoing the lines or not, what-with his interesting details and then the big paws, but the shading is always so epic and makes the piece so I couldn't imagine it any other way. ^^
