The Village of the SaneI once came upon a village that was sane. Completely and utterly sane. So sane that it was maddening. They went through their lives as any ordinary town would. They went to the library, to the post office, the coffee shop, the doctors office and like all good Christians they went to church. Granted when I first arrived I felt that something was off with them. Later I did realize that realize that it was I. You see for most of my life I was insane and I admit it openly. I was very mad. The prime example of lunacy. I was so mad that it seemed like I was in my right state of mind. Which of course I wasn’t.The Village of the Sane2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
I had come upon this town during my travels. I went from town to town sampling the people. I was a people sampler. For people like most things can be sampled. Of course I mean in the cultural sense, I never ate anyone or anything like that.
The town was like any ordinary midwestern tow
Being uniqueAs my eighteenth written piece i attempted to write about being unique:Being unique2 years ago in Philosophical More Like This
We are all Inheritably born unique, you don't ever need to try to be such a thing, it Is In our core and humanity to all be unique and different, its the people who are trying to fit in and look the same under the guise of being unique that worry me.
Don't be a slave says the slave, you must be different says the same,
You must be strong says the weak, judgment from the most Inept,
The world we have been born Into, will always tell you to be what you aren't,
Your whole life you will spend making fools proud and worthy people disappointed,
See with your own eyes what Is worthy, not by others,
You are you, you have no need for the opinions and beliefs of others,
Guard yourself from fools and parasites, love those who understand and cherish what you are.
Castle of air.It broke.Castle of air.2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
My fragile mind shattered like a glass mosaic.
All the tiny shards fell out of my ears, nose, mouth and eyes until there was nothing left.
That's when the men in white came to take me with them.
They told me they would take me to a castle where I would be treated like royalty, and where servants would be looking for the pieces of my mind puzzle that I had lost.
They dressed me in a beautiful white gown and brought me to my chambers so I could rest after my long journey. The walls and floor were soft to touch, and as I stretched on my toes and reached up my hand, my fingertips brushed against the soft ceiling.
There was no need for a common bed.
The entire room was a bed!
Softer than any bed I had ever slept in before.
I do not know how long I slept, but when I woke up, a servant in white came with food and water for me. He told me that if I was behaving well, he would take me to meet the others. I was curious to know who else lived at the castle, and promised I would be nice

And only for a night,
If there was no cover,
And no end in sight,
If I held you close,
And your breath escaped in moans,
If we lacked the clothes,
Could we take unearthly thrones?
Could we reach an all time high,
Through each tremble and godly sigh?
With all the rhythmic outcries,
For yours and mine until it dies?
But one blocks our path,
An ocean made of cities and streets,
I fear I feel his hateful wrath,
For distance separates our heartbeats.
