My Knight With The Wild Brown Curls. It was the night before my wedding, and had just had a visit from Ma Toro, my soon to be mother – in – law. As she was leaving, she gave me a gaily wrapped parcel, and asked me to open it when I was alone. It was strange, she had this really … strange … look on her face, kind of, I don't know, reflective, and happy, and a bit wistful all at once. I'd never seen her with quite that expression on her face before. Well, I was alone tonight, Ray was, as tradition dictated, not seeing me tonight, night before the wedding and all that, so, when she left, I decided to open my gift, and see what was inside to make her look so strange.
Inside was a beautifully carved wooden keepsake box, inside of that was an ornate leather bound book, almost like a photo album, or scrap book, but grand. Opening the front cover, I found, in Ma Toro's very neat and precise hand writing, a note, saying 'My dearest Kat, My new daughter. I knew right from the start that you would be the one for my son, I only h

Five Can Can Foolies. The stage was lit with bright colours to match the dresses, red, orange, yellow, green and blue. As the familiar tune started, five young ladies came onto stage, high kicking all the way. First came Franka, dressed all in red from her scarlet dress to her crimson court shoes, followed by the orange clad Bobbi, then yellow attired Gerarda, Green bedecked Rayna, and lastly the blue robed Mikaela. Kicking up their feet over their shoulders, and raising their knees to their chests the girls took the room by storm in a swirl of cancan induced fever.Five Can Can Foolies.2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
When the music picked up pace, so did the girls, cartwheeling and tumbling across the stage, crossing and circling one another in a display of choreography that left the audience breathless. When the tune changed for a while, what was planned was that Franka would cartwheel around the edges of the stage, while Bobbi and Mikaela did the splits, and Gerarda and Rayna turned their backs to the audience, bent over forwards, flipping their skirts up

But if you stop to look at me,
beauteous flowers at your feet.
I creep through cracks in concrete,

But think of how hard I had to try,
and give me a second chance.
I may be a common sight to you,
a dandelion or daisy.
But in less temperate places,
I would drive people crazy.
I'm tough, and I will survive,

And still produce delicate flowers,
from my every bud.
My beauty understated,
by gardeners abhored.
But beauty, in beholder's eyes,

It is always dark.
Few humans survived.
One of them is a little girl.
She can save the world.
She must be protected at all cost.
The group of humans is hiding in an abandoned house in New Jersey. Mike Dirnt and Bob Bryar are checking if it's safe.
Frank Iero and Tré Cool are searching for food. It's been days since they had something decent.
The others are in the living room. They're having a conversation, trying not to wake the girl that's sleeping on the couch.
"How can you be sure that that's her! We know nothing about here!"
"She might be the one that can save us! You gotta trust me on this one, Gerard!"
"What if she's a vampire? she could kill us all!"
The girl opens her eyes and everyone stares at her. She blinks and looks at the men in front of her.
"Hi, what's your name?"
"I-I'm Gloria. Are you vampires?" Billie Joe shares a look with Gerard. The later sighs.

A big problem: he has a crush on his bully, Frank Iero. Frank is the hottest guy in school. Every girl wants him, but he's still single. Unfortunatly, he's also straight.
"Look, Frank, the faggot's all alone. Let's keep him company." Frank smirks at Zacky and they make a circle 'round Gerard.
"What are you doing, fag?"
"Bullshit. Show me." Frank grabs the book and looks at the drawing of a girl. Gerard is silently praying that the other won't turn the page around. All the other drawings are of Frank or Gerard and Frank holding and sometimes kissing.
But Frank's a curious bastard so he turns the page. His eyebrows almost dissappear in his hair when he sees the next drawing.
"What's in it?"
"Just some stupid drawings, Z. Let's go eat, I'm hungry." Gerard's surprised. Why isn't Frank making fun of him.--
"Where are you going?"
Blind Panic 3Lying in the hospital bed, unable to see what this group of 'eye doctors' are actually looking at, I concentrate on my other senses, my hearing, touch, smell and taste. Taste doesn't exactly tell me much at present, the disinfectant tang of hospitals masks pretty much everything else. Hearing, that's only any use when there's someone nearby to listen to. Touch, same as hearing, pretty much, save for feeling the dressings all over me, the sheets and blankets, and that damned needle in my arm, and fuck only knows what their pushing into me through there. Smell, well, other than that distinctive hospital smell, I detect flowers, stale tobacco smoke (someone around here smokes), and a musky, spicy cologne that I find …. It's almost six o'clock so Frank should be home soon. I've been watching football while waiting for him for almost an hour. There he is. He closes the door and walks into the living.
"Really, Zacky?" he shakes his head and gives me a kiss. Then he kneels and starts to pick up the empty beer bottles. After he brought them to the kitchen he comes to sit next to me and sighs.
"What do you want me to do? How can I get you to stop?" I shrug because I don't know. I try not to drink, but fail every time.
He sighs and goes to the bathroom to take a shower.
Sometimes I wonder why Frank stays. If I were him by now I would've left me. I would've walked away. I wish that he could read my mind. That he could know everything I want to say, but just can't.
I undress in the bedroom and sneak into the bathroom without Frank noticing. I push the curtain aside and hug my boyfriend from behind.

Blind Panic 8Next morning, we woke to the feeling of someone nestled in against our side, this surprised us, as when we went to sleep, we were alone as was everyone else in the cave. Keeping our eyes closed, we tested ourself to see if we could DEDUCE, without looking, who it was. They were slender, but not skinny, tall, from the way they were curled up, and warm, VERY warm. PYRO! Carefully, so as not to scorch our feathers, we looked down and saw him grinning at us from under our wing. Yawning, and stretching, he apologised, and commented that our wings were softer than the cave walls for sleeping with, unsure how to respond, we smiled and nodded.Blind Panic 82 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Once Pyro had, literally ‘cooked’ breakfast (his hair was used to toast whatever woodland foods were found), we got started on the work of the time – mastering new skills. They hadn’t sensed us yet, but someone else had. As I crept forwards, a small winged creature landed delicately beside us, cocking their head to one side as if to listen to our thoughts, or, more likely, the Creators. We looked at our new companion, she was a strange mixture of things to be sure. Half cat, half woman, with reptilian wings, we really didn’t know what to make of her, then, suddenly, a thought not our own told us to trust her. What? Where had that come from ? Looking at her again, we saw her grinning – it was her, that had to be one o
Blind Panic 10When we were all gathered and introduced, we started preparations for the evening meal, this was usually something of a chore, as it mean considerable effort being made to find foods in the woodland, then persuade Pyro not to burn them. Frank Iero (better known as Fun Ghoul by the Government) is part of the Killjoys. They are on unknown territory and he's sent to check it out.
Frank is in the sub-urbs when someone pulls him in an alley and puts a knife on his throat.
"No, Killjoy." The man in front of him isn't much taller but definitly stronger. Well, he should be. Frank notices that he's a sickly pale and has bags under his eyes.
"Hey, dude, are you okay?"
"Yes, oh shit, no, I'm not." Frank helps the rebel to sit down and sees blood on his trousers.
"I can take care of that, but you'll have to take your jeans off."
"There are more subtle ways to get in my pants, you know." Frank rolls his eyes.
"I'm Zacky by the way."
"Frank." Five minutes of struggling (and curses from Zacky) later the jeans are finally off.

This was a home away from home, in a sense.
The only problem might be the daughter, Kat. Apparently she liked to watch the late night wrestling, which was no problem to me— I’m a bit partial to Monday night raw, but this could bother Bob a little… it could affect how much he slept… he wasn’t a fan of WWE.
Reaching the house, we could hear that the daughter, Kat, was definitely at home – the volume of “To Be Loved” by Papa Roach gave it all away. She was probably singing along to it too. This gave us the impression that Linda had either kept it secret that we were comi
