pain, anger, guilt.
O is for Outrage,
mountains from molehills built.
R is for Reasoning,
let common sense in.
G is for Genuine,
let healing begin.
I is for Ignore,
those screaming for vengeance.
V is for Validity,
give mercy a chance.
E is for Empathy,
support and don't revile.
Forgiveness is stronger,
than revenge or defile.
Forgiveness empowers
the one that lets it reside.
Forgiveness the one thing
that we all have inside.
The betrayal and anger,
that's felt can be so stark.
Often, I'll admit, it leaves
some emotional mark.
Forgiveness can strengthen,
if you just allow.

Natures Rainbow. The poppies of the battlefield,Natures Rainbow.3 months ago in Free Verse More Like This
as red as blood stains of old.
Physallis in their papery hoods,
are tempting orange gold.
The sunflowers of summer,
yellow petals shining bright.
The catkins of springtime,
soft green, their pollen light.
The squills of late springtime,
a blue so lustrous ripe.
Berries of Autumn hedgerows,
indigo purple every type.
The shy, small summer violets,
the name the colour spells.
In this, natures own rainbow,
rejoice, my heart, me tells.

Five Can Can Foolies. The stage was lit with bright colours to match the dresses, red, orange, yellow, green and blue. As the familiar tune started, five young ladies came onto stage, high kicking all the way. First came Franka, dressed all in red from her scarlet dress to her crimson court shoes, followed by the orange clad Bobbi, then yellow attired Gerarda, Green bedecked Rayna, and lastly the blue robed Mikaela. Kicking up their feet over their shoulders, and raising their knees to their chests the girls took the room by storm in a swirl of cancan induced fever.Five Can Can Foolies.4 months ago in Short Stories More Like This

Wild Beauty.I am but a common weed,Wild Beauty.2 months ago in Free Verse More Like This
you pass me in the street.
But if you stop to look at me,
beauteous flowers at your feet.
I creep through cracks in concrete,
you walk past without a glance.
But think of how hard I had to try,
and give me a second chance.
I may be a common sight to you,
a dandelion or daisy.
But in less temperate places,
I would drive people crazy.
I'm tough, and I will survive,
come heat, or cold, or flood.
And still produce delicate flowers,
from my every bud.
My beauty understated,
by gardeners abhored.
But beauty, in beholder's eyes,
come to each, adored.

sienna, and gold.
Russet and umber,
mixed, blended, bold.
Curling, corkscrewing,
twisting and twirled.
Winding, combining,
tumbled and whirled.
These elegant mops,
these tangled coronets.
These tumbled tresses,
escape all hairnets.
No point in restraining,
their carefree energy.
When all of your actions,
increase the synergy.
There just is no matching,
this wild, free caress.
Leave it to bounce free,
no taming duress.
I'm sure you can figure,
the person I think about.
This rhyme is no riddle,
of that I've no doubt.

Despair and Hope.Defeated, ill treated,Despair and Hope.2 months ago in Free Verse More Like This
a spirit torn apart.
Betrayed, waylaid,
the shredding of a heart.
Forlorn, still born,
hopes for a future bright.
Unfed, half dead,
strangled by fears too tight.
Unmourned, scorned,
the innocent are crushed.
Still green, unseen,
under rugs are brushed.
Ill used, abused,
cast down into despair.
Reach up, reach out,
look up and I'll be there.
Support, self taught,
together we are strong.
A team, no seam,
try to right a wrong.
I'll be there, I care,
I'll try with all my power.
We two, me and you,
are growing future's flower.

What's Wrong? She knew she was risking her health going, but she really didn't have much choice,What's Wrong?7 months ago in Short Stories More Like This
her daughter was desperate to go, and her husband was working, so she had to go. She
was fully up to date with all her medicines, and was wearing large, very dark sunglasses,
to try to ward off any problems, and they were right up front so that most of the lights
and speakers would be aimed over they're heads. She'd done all she could to stay safe.
One of the bands guitarists, looking out across the audience, stopped still, staring
at one spot in the crowd, then, putting his guitar on the stage floor, he ran forward and

Blind Panic 13As we left the caves for our usual training ground, we noticed Pixie wasn’t with us, and, looking around, we didn’t see her anywhere. Concerned, we backtracked to the caves, and heard Aquaria and Pixie talking. Aquaria appeared to be upset that Pixie was making friends in the group so easily, Pixie, on the other hand, seemed confused as to ‘Quarie’s problem. Re-entering the caves, we made our presence known, and asked the problem. Aquaria, scowling at us, wrapped a hand over Pixie’s face, and both disappeared into the water. Startled, we went to the waters edge, and saw Aquaria towing Pixie along under the wateBlind Panic 133 months ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Blind Panic 10When we were all gathered and introduced, we started preparations for the evening meal, this was usually something of a chore, as it mean considerable effort being made to find foods in the woodland, then persuade Pyro not to burn them. Tonight, however, was not like most nights. Versi, coming forward, said that if we could get her to town, she could transform into a regular person for long enough to go to the supermarket and buy groceries. Beyblades, thinking fast (as fast as he could) decided to have us fly her there, for speed and safety. Making herself as small and lightweight as she could, Versi climbed onto our back, and we took off.Blind Panic 103 months ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Blind Panic 9As the group of Creators approached the camp, we saw, coming from the other direction, a small group of what appeared to be hominid mk two’s. Landing, we sent Pyro to warn the others about both groups, while we went to track the Creators. Our night vision should be handy now, twilight was drawing in, so that was to our advantage too. Creeping through the woodland shadows, we approached the … enemy with caution.Blind Panic 94 months ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Blind Panic 8Next morning, we woke to the feeling of someone nestled in against our side, this surprised us, as when we went to sleep, we were alone as was everyone else in the cave. Keeping our eyes closed, we tested ourself to see if we could DEDUCE, without looking, who it was. They were slender, but not skinny, tall, from the way they were curled up, and warm, VERY warm. PYRO! Carefully, so as not to scorch our feathers, we looked down and saw him grinning at us from under our wing. Yawning, and stretching, he apologised, and commented that our wings were softer than the cave walls for sleeping with, unsure how to respond, we smiled and nodded.Blind Panic 84 months ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Blind Panic 3Lying in the hospital bed, unable to see what this group of 'eye doctors' are actually looking at, I concentrate on my other senses, my hearing, touch, smell and taste. Taste doesn't exactly tell me much at present, the disinfectant tang of hospitals masks pretty much everything else. Hearing, that's only any use when there's someone nearby to listen to. Touch, same as hearing, pretty much, save for feeling the dressings all over me, the sheets and blankets, and that damned needle in my arm, and fuck only knows what their pushing into me through there. Mikey Way and Ray Toro decided to go to the fairground, and, meeting
first Pete Wentz, then Matt Bellamy, on the way, they decided they'd

Getting there, they found that it was, predictably, packed, so

with fans wanting autographs and photo's. Eventually getting free, they
found that Pete had wandered off. He was an adult, and something of a
