It was a beautiful, still night. The snow that had been falling for the past few hours had finally stopped, leaving behind a crisp, clear moonlit sky filled with thousands upon thousands of stars. The Man in the Moon's smiling face shone down like it was made of crystal ice. The snow upon the ground practically glowed in the moonlight. It had stuck to the branch of every tree, making the world look as if it was covered in marshmallow frosting. The world was silently sleeping, and all was still and peaceful.
It was a sight to behold, but only one pair of eyes would behold it tonight. And that would just so happen to be the creator of this masterpiece; Jack Frost.
Currently the boy was perched in a large tree, admiring his handiwork. He leaned on his staff and let out a low whistle. He had really outdone himself this time!
His snow white hair and rumpled up cloak came alive as a fresh, brisk breeze came across the scene. He closed his ocean blue eyes as the cool ai

"Are you sure about this Jack? Do you want one of us to come with you?" Tooth asked. Jack tugged on his sweatshirt and grabbed his staff. Jack had a mission, and this was the most important thing he has ever done in his life. He turned to Tooth who looked worriedly at him, her wings buzzing a little faster. He smiled at her, "I'll be fine, I've been doing stuff like this for a while now; I know what I'm doing." He slung his staff over his shoulder and began to walk back to the others.
"B-but I mean…considering the circumstances of the situation, wouldn't it be wise to have someone, or a partner…?" Jack stopped and turned to her, slightly exasperated, "Tooth seriously, I've been going solo for a long time now, I think I know how to handle myself." He continued walking as Tooth slowly hovered behind him unsurely. Baby Tooth hovered by her leader's shoulder and saw the sad look in her eyes, Tooth could feel her stare, "I'm just fine Baby, no need to fret." She said, feigning her beaming s

It was a bright sunny day in the town of Burgess; the ice and snow covered the roofs and sidewalks, and icicles dripped continuously from their perches. The children played and laughed as they did their normal snow-day activities. But only two had detached themselves from the main group and were standing on the top of the tallest snow-covered hill.
"Jamie…are you sure this is safe?" the 13-year-old turned to her friend; Jamie grinned and turned to her, "Sure it's safe! I wouldn't take you here if it wasn't." the girl shifted uneasily in her large winter boots, her huddled frame retreated in her thin, blue, winter coat like a turtle, making her even smaller next to Jamie.
"But last I heard, you slipped down the hill into the street, and lost a tooth after you crashed." She said, raising her dark eyebrows. Jamie bit his lip and turned his eyes away from her, "That…wasn't my fault." He said quickly.
"Then whose fault was it?" she said crossing her arms. Jamie shrugged, "A sliding couch."

A Guardian's Story: Part 1 (Jack Frost x Cupid)When I was alive, I loved stories. It's one of the few characteristics I still maintain from my old self, even after all this time. I remember who I was and what I did, but I can't remember the feelings of being that girl. It's as if that life was the plot of just another book I've read - and it would have made a good book too. A pretty shepherdess maiden falls in love with a handsome young hunter in the wilds of old Britannia, but they lived under the rule of a cruel and greedy chieftain. When the hunter kills a deer from the chief's prized herd and goes into hiding, a search is conducted from house to house. Just as the hunter's hiding place is about to be discovered, the shepherdess cries out in confession, knowing full well that the punishment will be death. She spins a lie that she accidentally shot the deer with an arrow when she mistook it for a wolf coming through the thicket toward her sheep. The hunter's hiding place is never diA Guardian's Story: Part 1 (Jack Frost x Cupid)2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Little Caroline ran worriedly towards her mother with one of her baby teeth between two fingers. A few weeks ago, when her tooth started to wiggle, she thought that it was just a toothache which might eventually get better. Now, to her disappointment, it finally fell out while she was brushing her teeth. Caroline was afraid that all of her teeth will start to fall out but that was because she didn't know it was natural.
"Mommy! Mommy! Look! Look!" Caroline called. She waved the tooth in the air, trying to catch her mother's attention.
"What is it sweetheart?" Mrs. Anderson turned away from the dirty dishes she was cleaning.
"It's my tooth! It fell out!" Caroline said with sad eyes.
Mrs. Anderson chuckled as she continued scrubbing. "Oh, Caroline that's okay. In fact, it's good news!"
Caroline gave her a skeptical look. "How is it good news, mommy?"
"It's because you're going to have a visit from the tooth fairy"
"The tooth fairy?" Caroline beca

The only reason you knew of the memory was because it came to you in a dream many years ago. It wasn't truly yours to begin with. It was from a last life. A life from a long time ago.
Softly skipping, you begin to make your way to school. Plush snow falls from the sky. The snow makes small patterns in your hair. A giggle slips out of your mouth. You stretch your tongue out and catch some snowflakes. You look over at your school with disguist. You walk into school, looking forward to it ending.

Jack blanked out and he found himself in void like darkness, and across from him was none other than the Nightmare King.
'Pitch… I know you're the one doing this…leave her alone! She's just a kid!'
'Hehehe…I'm not the one doing this. She brought this upon herself. I'm just 'assisting' with her panic.'
'Don't play coy, the ice break when I'm around—!'
'Well then perhaps it is you who caused this.'
'Your powers might be weakening. Or possibly…I might be getting stronger. Think about it, Jack.'
And with that the darkness disappeared along with the Boogeyman, time began to speed up, and Jack found himself in the same situation he was in before. He looked over at a panicked Jamie who was looking back at him with pleading eyes.
"Jack! You gotta help her, or else she's going to fall in!" Jamie yelled, Jack looked up at the sinking girl, and back to Jamie.

So there I was minding MY own business when I was lifted off the ground and swung through the air. I heard a boy laugh as I squealed at him to put me down immediately.
“Sorry, I was just wondering, would you go to the winter dance with me?” Eric asked me as he sat me down, his black hair flopping over his face as his green eyes flittered with excitement. I giggled and hugged the tall guy of my dreams.
“Do you think it is reasonable for me to say I love you?” I ask him. He rubs his stubbly chin with a calloused hand and grins at me, “I beli

Frostnapped (RotG Fanfic) Part 1It was the last day of autumn. A beautiful woman, whose age would probably never be able to be guessed, walked through the park. Her pale skin was accentuated by her black hair that cascaded down to the small of her back. She wore a black Victorian style dress and a cloak made of raven feathers. Accompanying her was a woman who seemed to be in her forties with tan skin and auburn hair. The auburn haired beauty wore a long dress made of bright oranges and reds. The two seemed like an odd pair despite the fact that both were very beautiful. Their steps were slow and measured. The black haired woman hands passed over every flower and tree that they passed. Immediately the flower would shrivel and the tree would drop its leaves. As she did so, the other woman's dress became more and more brown.Frostnapped (RotG Fanfic) Part 12 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

I was always fascinated in Jack Frost. I loved the snow and the frost. I was always awed by his work. Everywhere I looked in the winter, everything was beautiful.
I believed so much, that I had the shock of my life when one night not long after I turned six. He finally showed up in my very own room.
I always left my window open; I loved the cool breeze of winter, even if it meant I had to cover up more. This was just an invitation to the spirit of winter.
Out of nowhere, the top of my window where the two parts of the window met frosted over in an intricate swirly design. I got out of my bed and curiously walked toward my window. Before I even got half-way there, I saw him.

Darkness fell in the endless caverns and caves of the Boogeyman's lair. The cold chill of winter had long set in every crevice of the all scrap metal and dead stone that cluttered the place. Frost covered every cold, flat, surface it could find.
The metal cages dangled lifelessly by their thick chains; making low groaning sounds as they swayed ever so slightly against every invisible breeze.
In the center of the dead cave; Pitch stood stoically, his demeanor as 'high and mighty' as ever, in front of his black metal globe, in which its dark appearance was conquered by the lights of all the children that believed in the world. They twinkled like the endless stars in the night sky, some going out, and being replaced with new ones. Their numbers had grown considerably; as hope, wonder, memories, fun, and sweet dreams flourished through the children's lives…
It sickened him.
He glared at the lights with utter distain, his dead, silver-golden, yellow eyes burning through the globe with irrit

Years ago, the snow fell softly on a small village. Lights from candles inside cozy cabins cascaded onto the cobble stone paths that glistened with frost. The soft winter wind drifted down the dirt paths that lined the village, bringing in winter as silently as a whisper.
The peaceful quiet was interrupted as a newborn infant cried out into the night from a small log home. For as the snow fell, a baby boy took his first breath of life.
His mother lay in her bed in the corner of the cabin, candle light bouncing off the sheen of sweat on her forehead. As exhausted as she was, a large smile crossed her face as her husband handed her the small bundle wrapped in a white linen blanket. A small face peeked out from the fold of the fabric, revealing closed eyes and smooth, flawless skin that only a baby could posses. Her husband kissed the top of her head while he joined her in admiring their first born child.
