This is an Emerald Dragon which I made for the local library (Wasatch County Library in Utah) where it is now displayed. It was sculpted with ProSculpt Polymer Clay. I create many dragons of differing sizes, colors and styles. They range in price from around $60 up to $700 or so. If you are interested please contact me ♥

And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,

This piece is NOT for sale.

Gallery level commission piece, inspired by Todd Lockwood's rendering of the Shadow Dragon from Forgotten Realms.

This was completed over a period of 2 months; I worked on it on and off between other commissions. A piece like this can get pretty tedious if I don't properly space out the work.

I will be explaining several techniques in my new sculpting book that directly pertain to this piece including complex armatures, scales, painting techniques, and wing creation.
Dimensions : 17" long, 8" High on a 9x6.5" Base

Materials : Super Sculpey, Sculpey Firm, and Apoxie Sculpt over a wire and foil armature; Glassine (Wings); Acrylic Paints; Wood Base

QUESTIONS???
Please visit my FAQ page [link] before asking questions about techniques and materials. Just about every question I get is covered there. I’m not trying to be rude, I just get tired of answering the same questions over and over ^^;

The is Sculpture I made for art class. It is a wire mesh base with CD shards hot glued to it. I used a band saw with a really thin blade to cut the pieces for the wings, and scissors for the smaller shards. The shards are hot glued to the wire frame. I only cut myself once on the wire, but I burned myself plenty of times on the hot glue gun. This project took me around 80 hours.

Here is another smaller dragon trophy that I made. It is made completely out of found materials, mostly paper mache and old bed sheets from good will.
Here is the other larger dragon I did: [link]

Made from Super Sculpey and Milliput it was created for a pitch in a few weeks time. The base is A4 in size to give you an idea of the scale.
