Fan art for Sly Cooper. I really love the series. I still need to pick up Thieves in Time and it wasn't until I saw an animation reel for the the characters that I really feel the need to pick it up.

I've been working on this on and off for about three months. Large image (even after shrinking it for the web). The one thing bad about working on something for some long is that you feel you start to outgrow it after a while. There's so many things I find wrong with this that I didn't a month or two ago. I guess that's a good sign; shows I'm growing.
I did this a year ago, but just got my scanner hooked up to my laptop. I constructed a 1'x1'x1' plywood box, gessoed it, covered the background with black charcoal, and finally painted the figures with acrylics. There are only two sides I'm proud of, this one and another.
I finally got the guts to draw Carmelita Fox, hope you guys think it looks decent. I actually really like how this turned out.
It's my bro's birthday so I decided to draw him something that both he and I have wanted me to draw ever since I started drawing; Carmelita Fox~! I always wanted to but never felt that I could, and I'm so sososo glad I waited until I was ok at drawing to draw her because this looks better than I thought it would. I'm more pleased with this than I am with most things. Not only because it looks great, but because I actually had fun coloring this~! Usually I'm too worried wondering if something looks good that I can't really start appreciating it until it's finally finished. But this, I friggin loved it ever since I started sketching it. And hopefully, no, i'll know for sure that he'll love this. he actually had liked my art since the beginning, i mean even back when I was a complete noob at drawing so of course he'll love this~! ;u;/
