Mass Effect 3: Redux 1Chapter 1: Farewell
Commander John Shepard was lying on the couch in what he would call his new apartment, but after the events in the Bahak system, it was nothing more than a lavish prison to him. His home was just an ear shot's away from the Alliance headquarters on Earth, located in hustling and bustling Vancouver, of the United North American States. Lots of tall buildings and lovely patios for those who either had great Alliance connections, or really knew how to get the best in life. Shepard was not one of those people. Although, judging by his current living status, you would not think that. A large condo with snow white walls and floor, lamps giving off a calm blue light, bed and couch made out of special memory foam, working kitchen filled with food of the highest caliber, and furniture that would put the designs of the now extinct Ikea to shame. But all of that meant absolutely nothing to Shepard. After all, all the riches in the world couldn't make up for the l
ME3: The BreakdownThessia was a disaster. Kai Leng stole Vendetta from Shepard, Cerberus now had the information on the Catalyst, and the homeworld of the Asari was now completely abandoned, as all life on it was expunged by the Reapers. Although many Asaris succeeded in leaving the planet before the Reaper fleets finished it off, it was still a hefty blow to their race, and even more so for Liara.ME3: The Breakdown3 years ago in Romance More Like This
Shepard felt awful about that, this was even worse than his mission to the Bahak System, at least there he could've took comfort in the fact that he stalled the Reaper invasion for several more months. But here, there was no upside, no sense of victory, just complete, and utter, failure. For the first time in Jack Shepard's life, he failed in a mission, no matter what sacrifice he took, or promises he made to the Asari on the battleground, he failed.
Tali could see the distraught looks on both the faces of Shepard and Liara. As Cortez took them back to the Normandy in the Kodiak, she honestly co

Tali wasn't really listening to the vid "Dealing With Loss" she had downloaded from the Extranet. It wasn't helping. She couldn't cast her mind to any particularly happy moments with her father, and the only one she could think of was now hollow and tainted by the experiments he had preformed on the Geth. It was the promise he had made to her when she was 10 years old and still in her bubble. He had promised her the Homeworld, that his work would help their people reclaim it, and that when they had, he would build her a house on the Homeworld. A home, he promised, no one would ever take away.
She turned off the vid with her omni-tool and rolled over onto her side in her bunk. She was still trying to assemble her thoughts after their trip to the Migrant Fleet. She

Never Again - Shepard x Tali
After what seemed to be years, the war against the Reapers was finally over. Shepard decided neither to control, nor destroy them. He had grown to hate the Illusive Man after he saw what he really was and, even though Anderson and everybody in the universe, including Shepard himself, wanted the Reapers dead, Shepard realised during these last minutes that he wasn't a murderer.
As he made his last steps, walking away from the little boy known as the Catalyst and headed towards the middle, the choice called 'Synthesis', flashes of his adventure started popping up. His first crew, how it was scattered by the Collectors, his reunion, his feel
Tali's Hangover Tali laughs drunkenly, swaying in her chair like Joker's making the Normandy do barrel rolls again. Her hand is sliding across the table in a dozen different directions and sending brandy in a dozen more. The only thing still dry is herself by some strange miracle. Throw her bright pink straw into the mix, and it is definitely a sight to behold. “I'm having a drink with my boyfriend,” she slurs. “My human boyfriend. My father would have hated you.”Tali's Hangover2 years ago in Romance More Like This
“Here's to him, then,” I say and raise up an imaginary glass in salute.
She raises her drink high above her head. “And to Miranda.”
I can't help but laugh as she tries to finish another sentence and get the emergency induction port/straw into her helmet. Neither want to cooperate in the slightest. Her words become a muddled mess of syllables that no one can decode, and the straw runs from her clutching fingers. It's almost like watching a three-year-old try to learn how to write whi
The TwinsYears after the Reaper War, Tali and Shepard built their house on Rannoch.Together, they lived for a couple of years until Tali became pregnant. Medical scans show that Tali was carrying twins: a Human boy and a Quarian girl. The Twins3 years ago in Romance More Like This
One day, Tali was enjoying the sunset with Kasumi Goto and Garrus Vakarian with her twins still inside. Shepard was away from Rannoch on Earth to assess the damage. Earth was repopulated and rebuilt about 80% of it.
Kasumi: So Tali, how are the babies?
Tali: Very good. It's strange though. Having two children and both of them are different species: Mine and Shepard's.
Garrus: Well at least it's not a hybrid thanks to the geth and other scientists who worked on your immune systems.
Tali: Indeed. Well, I'm going to get a drink of water. It's getting a little hot.
Kasumi: We'll wait right here.
Tali got up and made her way to the kitchen.
Kasumi: You miss Shepard, Garrus? It's been months since he left for Earth.
Garrus: Shouldn't you be there too?
Kasumi: Nah. Sure

"Bosh'tet!" Tali'Zorah screamed at her omni-tool. The more she rapidly tapped at the holographic buttons, the more furious she became.
Commander Candylan Shepard noticed the unusual behavior coming from her quarian companion and went to investigate. "Is something the matter?"
"It's nothing, Commander."
"Judging by all your huffing and puffing, it's far from nothing. What is it?"
"It's this player on Galaxy of Fantasy. That bosh'tet killed my character in a single move. He must be hacking!"
"Galaxy of Fantasy? Really? I didn't know you played, Tali," she responded, tucking her messy blonde locks behind her ear to reveal the smirk growing on her face.

Keelah, could it really have been that simple? She thought. She had scarcely been able to think of little else since their moment in the Drive Core. a few members of the crew couldn't help but notice a happier tone to her voice when she spoke. She had also been reliably informed by Garrus that Shepard "seemed to have a slight spring in his step these days." Needless to say, she was happier than she had been in a long time.
But now, she felt very uncomfortable. Her promise to do some research on Quarian- Human relations to the Commander had not gone well so far. All the information she had researched on the Extranet wasn't very useful. Most had simply said something along the lines of:

It was a wonderful evening for those who were living there.
Everyone was getting to bed to join the city of dreams.
Everything was wonderful.
Unless you are at the Shepard's home.
Unless you are in a particular room with a Turian, a Krogan, a scientist salarian, and the Shepard's child.
Besides that, everything was fine... really... fine...
"Once upon a time..." started the Turian.
"That's lame Turian. Can't you be more original? Trust a Turian to come up with something original is like trusting the salarian with a gun." said the Krogan
"Yes. Good point Grunt... if only we could say the same to you..." replied Mordin solus the scientist salarian.
"Yeah !... Wait... what?" Grunt frowned, confused.
"Shut up." Garrus glared at Grunt. "Oh, so you think you can do better, Krogan?
"Of course I can."

My eyes slowly crept open the dim lights of are bedroom appearing before my eyes. Shepard was sitting on the edge of our bed his hands holding the small bundle that was our three year old daughter Ya'del. She noticed I had woken up causing her to squirm in her father's arms.
" Well look, mummy up Ya'del. Say hello."
" Hello mummy."
" Hello Ya'del what are you doing up this late? "
" I wanted to see if santa had been yet."
I had to resist a laugh. Ever since shepard had explained what Christmas was are twins had been able to contain themselves.
" And I'v been explaining that he won't come if she's awake. So young lady are you prepared to go back to bed? "
She nodded to her father as he stood up from the bed. He turned to look back giving me a slight wink. I knew what he was meaning. After I was sure they had stepped outside I slid off the bed and made my way to the cupboard where we had hidden there presents., It amazing how smart a three year old quarian can be.

Tali, and Shepard were sitting in the kitchen in their home on Rannoch with their friend Arcee talking about the old days and the trouble they got into.
" I hacked into the Alliance networks and I forced Shepard and the others to watch my favourite movie, The Transformers: The Movie from the late twentieth century Earth." Arcee said.
"I remember that night," Shepard said, "even now I don't know why you forced us to watch it."
"I guess I was trying to show how good the series could be to you guys," Arcee said, "but you all fell asleep watching it so I guess I didn't get my point across."
"Didn't you get in trouble the next day for hacking the academy's computers?" Tali asked.
"Well they caught a weird glitch in their computer system but they never did track it to me," Arcee said scratching the side of her chin chuckling lightly, "I guess they needed better tech guys making sure no one hacked their computers."

Slowly, but surely, our relationship started to become more intimate. I started going on dates with Tali, across the gleaming cities of Rannoch. Unintentionally recollecting all of the fun we've had in the past, and how, despite all the glamour, Rannoch will never be as unforgettable as the Citadel. With all of the fun shop owners, people, classic food, easy to win-over clerks who were giving out discounts like candy. I even took her and Shanah to the Citadel a few times, just to bring back all of the good memories when we weren't fighting Reapers, Collectors, or the like. And we ended up creating some new ones. Like letting Shanah buy a fish only to accidentally let it swim freely in the Presidium pool, making one particular Krogan very happy. Thinking he finally caught a legit Presidium fish. For he obviously never seen an Earth gold fish before.
As the days turned into weeks, and so forth, I noticed that I was referring to Shepard's memories as my own a lot more often.

I welcome you aboard
And make sure all is accord
But there is something
Like a sweet sad song
And I can't help but overhear the melancholy
Lady vas Neema's melody
I only hear your cries
Under your mask lies
A sad Quarian lady
Who feels trapped and not free
Or is it the heart you have for me
What do you desire my lady?
Oh Milady Rayya why?
As your helmet buries in my chest
Your words are stumbling at best
As your heart confesses what your words try
To pronounce the feelings
Not expecting my words dealing
About you how can my heart deny?
As I help with your mask
Revealing the tears dripping
And in reaction, a sudden lipping
Your face blushing at the task
Mine and your tears begin to pour
As mine blend with yours
A sign of happiness at last

ME3: Epilogue Tali
Two years later after Shepard had left the council due to all the political bullshit (if he accepted the offer), Shepard wakes up and looks to his right to see Tali laying there beside him her eyes closed and breathing softly, with her mask off and was cuddled up close to Shepard.
"Commander," Edi said contacting Shepard through his omni-tool, "we are approaching the Citadel."
"Thanks Edi," Shepard said as he looked at Tali's face.
"Shepard there something else," Edi said.
"What's that, Edi?" Shepard asked.
"The Quarian Admiralty board wants to talk to you and Tali about the recent news you dropped on them," Edi said.
"Keelah," Tali said drowsily, her eyes still closed, "I knew there was going to be repercussions from telling them that about us, but this is the fifth time they have called."
"Shall we ignore them a bit longer?" Shepard asked.
"No we better see them this time," Tali said as she sat up and put her mask back on.

Emily Wong was standing with the hovering television camera in front of her, aboard the SSV Normandy in Commander Shepard's quarters, "Shepard I am so glad that you have finally decided to give me this interview," Emily said.
"Well I did promise that you would get an interview with me a couple of years ago," Shepard said.
"Thank you for letting me be apart of this interview too," Tali said.
"No problem, Ms. Vas Normandy," Emily said, "I'm sure everyone would love to know that you are Shepard's love. But Shepard are you sure you want to tell everyone that you love Tali, she is a Quarian after all, not that I think its wrong, I'm just thinking of how the rest of the galaxy might react."
"I know how the galaxy sees the Quarian people," Shepard said, "but I don't care if people call it wrong, I love Tali, and she loves me."
"Oh, wow," Emily said, "I think I might cry."
The hovering camera suddenly beeped a couple of high pitch beeps, "We

My name was Destroyer #24601, it had been approximately two months since the Human known as Commander Shepard had sacrificed himself, for the sake of ending the war against my kind, and the rest of organic and synthetic life. All of us now shared his thoughts, his ideals, and his morals, sometimes I even got his memories. But, like the rest of my kind, I had dedicated myself to ensure the protection of those that Shepard cared for the most. According to my data at the time, the most important person he had was a Quarian named, Ambassador Tali'Zorah vas Rannoch.
I was placed on the planet to watch over her, as many of my kind were to the rest of Shepard's companions. Sent as one of the Reapers designed to protect the Geth and Quarians, but most importantly see over the wellbeing of Shepard's mate, and safeguard her future. However, she was far less willing to do so as I first expected. When I first came to the planet, it was understandable for both Quarian and Geth alike to

Both of my eyes slowly crept open. The homely sight of my quarters in the Normandy filled my eyes, it was over I was safe. A smile spread across my face when my eyes fell on the sleeping quarian who was lying against my chest. Tali was sleeping peacefully her bright white eyes tight shut. Her short black hair stood out against her pale purple skin. The hood of her black and red colossus enviro-suit was pulled down allowing her head to rest against my chest. I careful slid myself away from her placing her gently down on the pillow. What had I done to deserve her?
I slowly slid of the bed so I wouldn't wake her. I picked up the black N7 shirt I had worn the day before and pulled it over my head. I tucked into the alliance standard, uniform trousers that I had fallen asleep in last night.
It felt good to be back on the Normandy three weeks in a military hospital had nearly driven me crazy. I looked up through the skylight at the stars that wher
