Dragon TF-2May had two rather extreme interests: climbing and dragons. Ironically, she had met a dragon while climbing, although falling was a better term.Dragon TF-25 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
She had been free-climbing up a natural rock face, when the rock she had grabbed fell out. Her grip with the other hand slipped and she started falling 100 feet in the air. The next thing she knows is that a deep red dragon caught her. He held her with his forearms as he opened his powerful wings and softened the landing. However, from 100 feet there is not a lot of time to slow down, so they landed rather roughly. May hit her head on a rock and was knocked unconscious. When she woke with a large headache, the dragon was nowhere to be found, but her head was bandaged where the rock split the skin. Lucky, re was no permanent damage, but whenever she mentioned the dragon, her friends claimed she had a concussion. Eventually, she began to doubt her story and stopped mentioning the dragon.

There was a mysterious dome building near the outskirts of the local fairgrounds. No one really knew what it was there for, only that a sign outside of the building that promised the best show your life, and it was completely free. The only restriction was that no children were allowed, and they only allowed in 100 people.
Inside the building there was only enough light to find a seat on the wooden benches circling the center, with the center being completely dark. The audience talked among themselves as they waited and wondered what kind of show it would be. Many sceptically people thought it just a bad joke, stating nothing good is free. Other people were more hopeful as they anxiously waited to see what hid in the darkness at the center of the dome.

Minutes later the blue fluffybottom floated over to him with a frown. She pushed at him to wake him up, but he did not move or make a sound. She placed her ear close to his face to listen or feel his breathing. The pixie clapped happily before she floated up to the drakenum that had followed her. She pointed to Gib with a smile, yet the woman stared in shock at the boy. “B-but he is so small. How could he manage to do such a thing?”
The fluffybottom shrugged. The drakenum sighed as she got to her knees, bowing her head close to get a better look at Gib. “He has their scent of them, but…it’s incredible to believe he was the one to defeat such fearsome creatures.”
Her doubtful gaze softened as a smile crept across her face as she gazed over the tiny boy. Her fingers delicately pushed the mask and hat off to reveal more of him. He had long, pointed ears and blond hair. His skin was dark from most likely l

His name was Zachary Elloufin. The scar along the side of his face, the physical memory of a dragon's claw, made his identity plane enough. He was well known among the Eastern Empire as a famous dragon slayer, made famous for his collecting of the claws that had, so many years ago, worked their eternal etching into the side of his face.
Zack hated dragons. The creatures were heartless killers, famous for their torturing of humanity and other "lesser" races. From the day of his birth nearly a century before the elf had come to know this fact well as, hours after his entry into the world, the whole of his village was burned to the ground. The homes were left as ashes under the shadow of the monster as every man, woman, and child found their way inside the terrible predator, most left alive to endure the agony that would become their final moments.

“My sister rather liked dwarves.” Kerugarn recalled, nodding towards the two burly guards across the room.
All dwarves seemed to have an affinity for the earth, a desire to be below ground; and, being located within a subterranean cavern, even those living at the tops of the staggeringly high pillars received that sense of fulfillment. But there was still that vague sense of vertigo, that trepidations air to not being able to touch the lowest and flattest part of the ground – save for the nobility, which were given the special privilege of dwelling in chambers beneath the stalagmites.
Special rooms were set aside for ranking officers, Councilmen, the king, and any visiting dignities that might be in the city limits. The latter left vacant rooms for the majority of the year – which was convenient for the sake of political prisoners.
For being captives, the quartet was not overly uncomfortable.

Interrogations weren’t exactly a breach of that comfort zone, since prisoners and enemy spies were set before him almost as often as his meals. And so it wasn’t so much that he was probing an individual for information that got to him, as much as it was that he was probing a human for information.
Char couldn’t recall the last time he’d seen a human. He reasoned years; he suspected decades; he almost wondered if he’d ever truly come face-to-face with one at all. Living for centuries on end made the past into a blur as layer after layer

Love the sinner, hate the sinI feel like something needs to be said about hate-speech. I don’t mean Westboro Baptist Church picket signs or the crazed ramblings of TV show hosts trying to blame natural disasters on a small minority of the U.S. population. I’m talking about the polite words, the “loving” phrases that may Christians use that they may not realize are extremely hurtful and cruel to the recipients. I want to talk about all the ugly messages and meanings that are often conveyed through this speech that many probably aren’t even aware of.Love the sinner, hate the sin2 years ago in Philosophical More Like This

My real interest is being able to clear the way for a more open dialogue between Christians and members of the LGBT community. This dialogue w
