I'm starting to depend on you.
& I'm starting to want you way more then I already do.
From my past, I know that this feeling is
& All that's going to come out of this is b/r-ok/e-n hearts and salty tears,
I'm going to hurt you,
A Sailor's Lament..The ocean; midst a storm did swellA Sailor's Lament..5 years ago in Urban & Spoken Word More Like This
All mighty raged in thunders hell
As ships lay doomed upon its floor
one lucky sailor reached the shore
To tell of waves that swallowed man
Of fear and angry tempests damned
A battle lost within the deep
So many souls the waters keep
To drift asunder for ever more
painted in the seaman's lore
Stories told and tales are kept
amongst the tears of wives that wept
A rose is thrown upon the sea
For those whose loss is just a memory
Seen no more, since that fateful day
When waves hast taken them away
A treacherous beast, these storms that come
To take a father and his son
So brave are those from days gone past
to sail the seas and then be cast
between the fathoms of neptunes hell
upon the sinking ships last bell
A watery grave their resting place
Taken quick in fearful haste
Never to be seen again
Except as ghosts in oceans rain

repeating the words from the highest of rocks.
Rocks created for the purpose of testing you.
Voices created for the purpose of consulting you.
But as you climb,
you hear the rocks repeating the words again and again,
"Life is not a destination".
Yet you advance further and further.
Until you find the summit of the highest of rocks,
and at this view
you discover yourself repeating the words to another,
"Life is not a destination,
but a journey".
