"What's what like?"
"Hunting. What is it about it that you like so much?"
I remember looking at him curiously. "You. Charlie, the guy who has had a problem with my hobby since day one, want to know about hunting?"
He blushed with embarrassment. Upon reflection, I probably shouldn't have reacted so sarcastically then.
"Well, I mean," he stumbled, trying to regain his composure. "It always struck me as wrong, you know? A sport made to gun down animals, I mean, it sounds sick, but... You've been doing it for a while now, Andy, and I know you. You're not really the guy who kills for the pleasure of it. So, I've been doing some research..."
He had pulled up the web page on his laptop and turned the screen to me. We were still miles from any wireless connection. He must have planned the conversation before he even got into the car to have had all those websites ready. This had not caught my attention until much later, though.

It fills my mouth
I finish feasting
Hearing screams of horror
Instincts have their way
It takes my flesh
Devours my soul
The moon in full
I've lost control
The wolf within me
Begs for more meat
I call out
With a deafening howl

"The world where you will go hand in hand with the flower maiden has neither perfect happiness, nor joy, nor life. This is because it also does not contain perfect sadness nor misery nor death."
The others started, looking up at the giant wolf that towered above them.
Darcia opened his mouth and let out a snarl full of sharp white canines.
"He actually did it!" Hige said in horror. "He turned into a wolf!"
"What lies in waiting, is a paradise for wolves alone. The unclean human are no more." Darcia said menacingly, moving forward a few paces.
Blue's eyes narrowed in realisation. "Bastard!! You killed him!!" She hissed. She looked as though she could rip his throat out. "You killed Pops!!!"
She stood up and moved in front of Cheza, who was trembling all over.
"Come with me Cheza." Darcia said, beginning to walk towards them. "It is time. What I have become has great need of you "

Werewolf Psychological Disorders.Normal werewolf psychologyWerewolf Psychological Disorders.4 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
One would probably be interested in the psychological aspect of a werewolf. Under normal conditions a werewolf's mind is largely human but with wolfish aspects mixed in. It can not be emphasized enough that a healthy werewolf mind is one mind. Human reasoning, wolfish instinct, and a balance between nature and the wilderness of today's modern world.
A note on instinct. Instinct is what it is. It is not something that one realizes before the event but rather during. It takes a well trained mind to realize what instinct is doing and be able to alter it. It is easy to avoid instinctual actions, but much harder to change them when they begin.
Werewolves are just as easily prone to psychological disorders as humans are, perhaps given the delicate nature of their minds being a mixture between human reasoning and wolfish instinct makes them prone to several disorders. How

SCENT OF A FLOWER, BLOOD OF THE WOLVES
The wind blew viciously as the three scarred wolves ran beside the battered car.
Inside it, the pink haired girl leant against the side of the door, her hair blowing in the breeze that came through the broken glass of the window. Her eyes were shut, her eyelashes fanned out.
"I hope we're going in the right direction." Hubb muttered, keeping his eyes on the ground ahead of them. "Paradise is somewhere up ahead isn't it?"
Cheza opened her deep pink eyes. "Yes. It is "
"Are you in any pain?" Hubb asked, concerned.
Cheza shook her head, clutching her white cloak tighter around herself.
"It's so strange." Hubb whispered. "I'm not sure when, but at some point I started to believe. In all of it. You. The wolves. And Paradise. I'm seeing the world clearly for the first time, just as it's about to end. A little too late huh?"
"It will not end " Cheza explained, though her voice was not even above a
Face PawCalibri had always been a very shy little girl, and it made me worry about her. She never spoke much in the house, never interacted much with the neighbors' kids, and later on I was even told by some teachers that she rarely ever participated in class. "It's not that she doesn't know the answer," would always be how they start. "It's just that she seems so shy." Even with that silence, though, she managed to have one good friend named Bethany who was the exact opposite of her. Loud, charming, and social, she tried almost as hard as I did to get Calibri to talk to people without much success. Most of my friends had blamed it on the divorce, but I wasn't left totally convinced. After all, she seemed this quiet even while her mother and I were still on good terms. When I asked her about it she told me she just didn't like people, which for me as her father was not a very comforting thing to hear.Face Paw4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

Hige is lagging behind, panting heavily. "Geez, all this running is making me hungry."
You raise your nose to the wind and sniff.
The sun is fully up now, its rays spreading into all the small dark crevices in this godforsaken town. Breathing life into them.
"The scent is stronger here. And it's definitely a Lunar flower."
"That's not the half of it." Says another, distinctly female voice from above you.
You look upwards, meeting the golden-green eyes of a grey she-wolf.
"A BABE!!" Yelled Hige, punching his fist into the air. "Jackpot!!"
"Who are you?" You ask in a level voice, baring your fangs slightly. "How did you get here?"
The she wolf laughs, and begins to make her way down to ground level, jumping from various platforms of rubble.
"I'm here for the same reason that you are I guess." She replies lightly.

A man in a business suit, an old fashioned hat, and a fine pair of gloves walked into the Cafe la Marks. No one even glanced, businessmen often come to the cafe. He sat down in a booth near the kitchen, carefully laying his brief case on the seat next to him. The waitress came up to him and he ordered a black coffee, as well as a steak, as rare as could be made.
"Will that be all sir?" asked the waitress.
"For now," he said, glancing at the clock, and sipping his fresh coffee. "It is almost the lunch rush isn't it?"
"Yes, we always get a packed house here, I'm surprised that me and the other waitresses can keep up with it."
"That's good. Very good. I suppose you'll be busy, I'll let you carry on. Thank you."

Running over hill and dale on four mighty paws,
Hungry and dreadful my voice as I bayed and howled!
A flock of sheep lay before me,
In a moonlit meadow of grass and sweet clover
And high-spraying blood that shone black on the ground
As I killed and killed and killed!
Glutted, I loped over the reeking red hill
And slunk into a darkling wood to slumber...
Retching, I wake up with wool in my mouth
And a well-gnawed sheep's head for a pillow---
Merciful God, not again...

Rabeka lay motionless in the cell. She had been banging on the door and crying for what seemed like a whole hour. Obviously at this point, there was no use in trying.
Andrew was now gone, and she was unsure if it was the last time she would ever see him. She went over in her head the things she wanted to tell him, things she didn't have the courage to say before, and the things she was glad to tell him before he was ripped from the cell. She was at least glad she at least had the chance to thank him for doing his best to protect her, but ultimately, the blame fell on her.
"I'm such an idiot," she whispered to herself, tears puddling up in her eyes. She hadn't the strength to lift her arm and wipe them away as they dripped down onto the cold, hard cement floor. She was fully prepared to die now, right then and there. She honestly hoped it would come quick, as it seemed there was no

CHAPTER 4- GOLDEN GIRL
The girl steps lightly off of Tsume's chest and shakes her head, holding out her hand to help him up.
He looks at her warily for a moment, as if waiting for her to strike him again. When she doesn't he frowns but accepts her hand.
His hand- it was warm and rough. Everything about him he was just like I'd pictured him Yet That scar on his chest I wanted to know everything. How five years had treated him. And now I had him I wasn't going to let him go again.
It was really her. I knew but I didn't think Asante
She pulled him up onto his feet. Yet neither of them let go. They stayed hand in hand, almost as if they were glued together.
"You can let go now " Tsume whispered to the girl.
"I know " she answered, blushing slightly, releasing his hand from her iron grip. "Will you come with me now?"
Tsume just nods.

The shy ones lean against the wall
As the bolder beasts leap and have a ball!
The Grand Wolf-Mother comes forth from her lair,
Her pack's fierce howls do split the air!
They run and they lope and they enter the town,
Breaking the doors of their victims down!
The screams are shrill but they don't last long;
Then all you can hear is the Loup-Garous' song--

As we hunt and dance and leap and kill!"

I'll warn you upfront: this isn't glamorous.
At first, I thought I was in a car or on a plane. I woke up in an uncomfortable chair with an incredible headache and no idea where I was. My eyes slowly adjusted to the sickly yellow light, and I saw a ceiling with water damage. I didn't recognize it. I smelled mildew and smoke, which would've startled me if not for the headache.
I started to rub my head, but I couldn't move my hand. I looked down, and my wrist was stuck in something. Actually both wrists. And ankles. I didn't like where this was going.
Ugly laughter erupted from across the room. "About time you came around!" someone shouted. I rolled my heavy head to the left and saw Seth and Nate. They were sitting on an unmade bed, smoking.
Seth was not one of my favorite people. He worked at a bar I avoided, and he was why. He and I went back ten years, so we knew a lot of the same people. Like Nate.
Nate wasn't a bad guy, or at least wasn't till recently. He was lonesome and impression

I was vaguely aware of the sounds around me, the snarls, the howling, the growling. I could dimly feel the forest floor beneath me, the soil, the fallen pine needles.
But all I could focus on was the burning, crushing pain in my right shoulder.
With my mind so clouded by pain, I could barely comprehend what had become of my night. Eric had offered to explain himself, if I was still willing to hear it, which, of course, I was. You don't kiss a girl with that kind of passion and then pull away in nothing short of terror without explaining yourself. So he asked me to come walk with him through the forest tonight, promising to answer any and all questions I had.
And now I was curled on the ground, clutching my throbbing, bleeding shoulder as a pair of massive wolves fought nearby.
The more I tried to remember what had happened, the clearer it became and the less my shoulder hurt. Eric and I had howled playful

A sharp gust of wind was the only thing that broke the silence of the forest. His breath was held and it seemed everything else around him was still. A bird cried out mournfully, then went silent again. The hunter had became the hunted.
Kay was cornered here, but they didn't know that. He'd managed to lose them for a ways, for he found that now he was able to run faster then he ever could before. And the forest felt like home. He'd found his hiding spot easily and the stripes on his furry back made him all but invisible to those who were following him. He watched them from within the shadows and even though their human hearing wasn't as good as his had become, he still held his breath.
"I don't think he's here!" said the first human. Her voice carried unnaturally through the misty trees and though he couldn't see her, he could smell her as if she was standing right next to him.
Her male companion replied something that he couldn
