Reader X Doc Scratch: Domesticity He loved his house.Reader X Doc Scratch: Domesticity2 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
He loved how it brought comfort to him and his guests, and how it functioned for him as both a home and office. He loved how his kitchen smelled of tea and casseroles, how the pepper-mint candles could soothe him on even his worst of days (which came few and far between), and he loved how the rainy days were warm and dry.
He loved his books. Especially his books. He loved how he could just loosen his tie, get sucked in between pages, and within- what seemed like moments- the sun would rise on a new day.
If home was where the heart lied, though, he would have to argue that this- this glorious place made for and by the most generous host- was not his home at all. Because things never felt right when she wasn't there. Things had been comfortable before, but... He could never imagine his house as the quiet place it had been before he had met her... He missed the sounds of Doctor Who playing on his TV, and the occasional scream of joy or such.
Rain rain go awayThe sky was dark, hinting that rain would be soon to come. John warned you, but of course, you ignored him. You were currently walking down the street with a ((F/C)) hoodie, black skinny jeans, and ((F/C)) shoes. Your ((H/C)) hair was tucked behind your ear, ((E/C)) eyes glued to the ground. The day seemed to go by so fast, checking up with your mother in the hospital. You held her hand the whole time, the mere thought sending you into more tears. 3 months. Your mother has been in a coma for that long, but you refuse to let them pull the plug. You cared too much. Loved too much. You were snapped out of your thoughts when it began to pour. You were drenched it seconds, trembling with fear, exhaustion, and sobs. You were swept under the shallow roof of a cafe, a familiar set of bright blue eyes gazing down at you with a different kind of tenderness. The raven haired boy brushed your cheek with his thumb, that goofy smile threatening to split his face in two. "Hey, ((F/N))," He adressed yRain rain go away2 years ago in Profiles More Like This

You just adore annoying your friend Dirk Strider. You've known Dirk how about.... Your whole life! You were always proud to have him as a friend. But, you always liked him MORE than a friend. He doesn't know but, you think he wont be interested.
" [name] is there anything you want? " He broke your thoughts. " Wha-? " You replied, you didn't even hear what he said. " Nevermind. " " Dirk. " You said once again. " .....Whaaat?? " He whined, annoyed. " Take off your anime shades...!! " You always wanted to see his eyes, but he doesn't even take his glasses off. You guess he just wants to keep it to himself.
" No thanks. " He responded.
" Please. " You begged. " Nope. " He refused.
" DIRK. " You exclaimed with a poker face. He just stayed silent.
" TAKE. YOUR. SCALANE. TRIANGLE- " " What..? " "SUGOI. ANIME. SHADES. OFF YOUR PRECIOUS FACE! " You finished pretty much yelling at one of your bestfriends.

You had started college recently and had found that many of your classes that had been extremely difficult for you in high school were so much easier and actually made sense for you. You and your roommate lived off campus in one of the many apartment complex's located around the city.
It was still dark out when your alarm went off signaling for you to get up and get ready to go to your first class. You sat up and turned it off. You rubbed the sleep from your eyes and stretched your arms above your head. You smiled contently when you were greeted with the relief and popping sound from your shoulders. You glanced over at your roommate and best friend in the entire world, John Egbert, and chuckled to yourself quietly to see that he was still asleep. You leaned over and turned the lamp on that resided on your guys' shared night stand along with John's glasses. You slipped out of your bed and shuffled over to the edge of John's be

You hurried down the sidewalk as fast as your legs could carry you, even using the flash step technique to the extent that you could manage. You were in a rush because you were late in meeting up with your best friend at the park, Dirk Strider. You knew he was going to be ticked that you've left him hanging there for about 10 minutes, but he would pretend like it was nothing and pretend to forget about it. But you knew he was only pretending, you've known him far too long NOT to be able to see through his 'cool kid' facade.
You smiled despite yourself as the park entrance came into view. You put in one last burst of speed that brought you right to the entrance. You stopped and bent over, clutching your chest where you could feel your rapid heartbeat, trying to catch your breath. As soon as you got your breathing back down to a semi-normal level, you stood up and straightened your clothes out before proceeding to locate Dirk.
You wandered around

-----Your POV --------
You sighed inwardly. You honestly felt really awkward at this given moment because you were there at the prom, most of your friends had a date, and you had to watch them have fun and enjoy themselves because no one had asked you. You forced a smile and waved back to your friend as she passed by on the dance floor. The smile left your face as she disappeared from view once again and you continued to just people watch as everyone enjoyed themselves.
You were leaning against the gymnasium wall with your hands behind you. You were in a (fav color) dress that went down to a little bit past your ankles, the straps rested on the sides of your shoulders, it was low cut which made you feel a little self-conscience, and a pair of (fav color) shoes. Your friends had insisted on dolling you up and forcing you to come, saying that there will certainly be someone there for you. You looked at your feet and sighed aga
