In the day or in the night,
You may find him round a corner.
He may be in plain sight,
Or hidden and waiting.
Under a light in the middle of the night,
You may see him in his coat so black,
Contrasting with his skin of white.
No eyes you'll see upon his face,
Though a grin or a sly smirk.
Approach him and offer a rose will he.
Deny the rose thee should.
Even though there is nothing you can do.
Take the rose and it'll end the same,
He'll take you,
He'll rape you.
You could try to resist his touch,
though this won't do much.
He'll just grin,
And invasive he'll be.
Depending his mood,
Depends your fate.
Good or bad,
Don't feel sad,
Don't you fret.
Just remember that if you see a man,
Be wary for he could be the Sexual Offenderman.

I didn't want you to go.
I don't want you to go.
And, since you left without saying good-bye
I keep hoping you'll come back.
I'm always going to love you,
Because you have your own place in my heart
A place that God must have placed there
Especially for you,
Because I can't forget you.
So, if you're wondering,
Yes, I still love you,
And, I'm just waiting for you
To come back home.

We remember when you divided and shaped us, but we forgive you. We were without form and the people had need of us.
We remember when you put us in flames, but we forgive you. We were soft and the people had need of us.
We recall the day when you sent us against swords. This we forgive. The people had need of us: we would not desert them when foes were near.
We remember when you broke us with hammers. Even this we forgive. The battle was won, and the people had no more need of us.
But though shattered, we remained on the hillside, for no people came to sweep the shards away. This too we forgive, for our eyes remained littering the ground and it allowed us to see.
We saw you crowned and we rejoiced though our own heads were shattered. We saw rings on your fingers and we applauded though our own hands were lost. We saw robes on your shoulders and we were glad, though our o

"Are you sure you want to do this ______?" your best friend Arthur tugged on the hood of his cloak.
"I want an explanation Arthur." You tightened your grip on the plastic container in your hands.
"He's dangerous love."
"I know." You stepped forward, towards the swirling portal. Arthur grimaced. Rolling your eyes, you stepped through the swirling edges of the portal.
For a few moments everything was black. Everything soon came into focus.
You looked around the familiar basement. Well not quite. England's pentagram and rune markings wear no longer there. Just boxes of what looked like rusted cup cake pans.
You made your way through the boxes, staring warily at the stairs. When you reached them you pursed your lips.
The only sound in the house so far had been your footsteps. That really set you on edge.
Quickly running up the stairs you looked around. Still no signs of life.
Ugh. You made a face at

The Library PlotMy master is a wizard of some repute; anyone could tell you that simply by observing his library. Even if you had never seen his face before, seen him strut about in his fancy embroidered robes and pointed wizard hat (which went out of style ages ago), you would know he was a wizard if you perused the books he has collected. His private library is a font of knowledge, a den of arcane secrets passed down through generations of sorcerers, savants, mystics and soothsayers. Here, scribed on papers bound in leather, cloth and dragonhide, are all the tricks of the trade my master plies. The Library Plot4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
And it is here, in his library, that I spend the majority of my time these days, plotting his downfall.
Oh, it's not like my master has ever treated me unkindly. Quite the opposite: he took me into his home when I was alone, a poor sad victim of the streets. He keeps me fed, offers me a place to sleep, has nothing but kind words to say to me. He gives me free reign of his household and lets me come and go as

The Book of Kells simply put is an illuminated manuscript Gospel book written in latin, it contains the four Gospels of the New Testament together with various prefatory texts and tables. It's one of the oldest books ever concieved dating way back to the year 800 combining Christian iconography and ornate swirling motifs of the Insular art type. Since 1953, it contains 340 pages worth of material and is bound in four volumes. As of today, the book, well only the two volumes are on display the Trinity College Library in Dublin. Why am I talking about this? If you haven't read the title, it's the 2009 Irish animated film The Secret of Kells. Yes, a major foriegn animated film that ended gaining attention at the 2010 Academy Awards.
I, myself am included among the many who were curious about the film ever since its announcement. Everyone was blindsided, no one saw its nomination coming. But overtime it did gain good reviews from the critics and seems to have developed a fanbase of its own

Temple Tower, Paris, France - 17 December 1793
Torches flickered from the movement, one attacker already withering on the ground as William Grey raised his bloody dagger. One down three more to go, this would not turn out well at all. Behind him Charlotte, the woman was supposed to keep safe shifted. He regretted putting her in such danger. It was supposed to have been a simple mission. Have Charlotte replace Marie Therese so they could bring back the royal family after so much chaos and death in revolutionary France. No time for regret now, only defense.
An explosion to William’s right. A pistol flash, bullet slammed into his side breaking a rib. He had to stop Robespierre here and now, but the man was too far away behind another revolutionary. He tried to lift his right arm, but it didn’t seem to work. Everything seemed to move in sl

Sometimes in life things seem to come together almost at random. Many people spend the days leading up to New Years telling themselves that they're going to do this or stop doing that. Most don't last and those going past a week are truly dedicated to the cause (or under doctor's orders). Why does this happen? Wrong mindset. The dedication is there, but the true gravity of their decision hasn't sunk in yet. So how does one go around changing your lifestyle for the better?
Up until February this year I was a smoker, not the pack-a-day kind of smoker, but a smoker nonetheless. I also weighed the wrong side of 110 kg (242 pounds for the non-metrics). For a very long time I wanted to quit, but nicotine addiction is a harsh thing and I failed miserably in my first attempt in 2010. So I kept going, gradually reducing my smokes a day from about twelve to a rather less unhealthy seven. I was proud of myself for achieving as much, but

Desk inside sun room
Were you a person in flesh, you wouldn’t believe what I am about to tell you. And were you a man for some strange reason, I would resolve in not saying anything at all.
Today I woke up feeling as ordinary and radiant as the sun that touched my eyelids and the breeze that crossed my windows. Mrs. Catherine entered precisely at 8:22 carrying the tray with my morning tea and a buttered toast. She left it on the dresser as usual and retired to allow me to wash myself and get dressed. Once ready I ringed mother, the poor thing is still with that nasty cold but she sounded better today, and headed downtown to see the shops- I heard word that the new paint bottles had arrived and I wanted to make sure I got my share before they ran out again.
Harry doesn’t want me walking around without need, and I appreciate his care. It hasn’t been long since the War ended as the broken pavements and shattered windows reveal, even in quiet Canterbury, bu

The room was very cold, as it is expected from most hospital rooms in during winter. The snow was starting to fall as the rays of the day began to fade away. The grandmother chuckled with her face creased into happiness.
“With such a lovely company I couldn’t feel better,” she patted the little hand in hers.
“Lilly, let’s leave grandma to rest, yes? You can see her tomorrow,” the mother came in taking her purse and scarf from the sofa chair next to the door.
“Aww, can’t we stay longer?” The girl said with a pout.
“There’s some snow coming our way, but we can come back tomorrow and show her your new bunny, yes?”
“Okay!” The girl jumped to the bed and hugged her grandmother, “I love you, granny, you take your medicines so you can come home,” she ordered.
“Yes, doctor,” and with a

Phoenix led the mages away from the Rune River, toward the Deadlands. Dead trees cringed and withered in these lands; tumble weeds tumbled and turned to ash at the end of their stumbles. The sky brightened; but then it turned a gloomy dark gray, almost purple. Night fell and the mages slept in a batch of desert.
Phoenix slept on his back and listened to the wind as it whistled grim laments of the forgotten past. He then heard a twig snap, and his eyes snapped open. He sprang to his feet, and saw a shadow scurry between the trees. He drew his sword. He then leapt through the trees and pounced upon the creature…
Upon a woman!
He gasped when he realized he had his blade to her delicate throat. He could feel her heart pound beneath his palm that pressed her to the ground.
Her red-wine eyes blazed up at him, frightened. Her long crimson curls splayed out over her shoulders that were bare, save for the red straps that held up her dress made of sashes. Her sashes were made of
