A friend of mine (Karsten Buch) and I shot this together after we visited the castle of sleeping beauty (or at least - they tell that it is the castle where this fairytale is based on).
This oak is in one of Germanys primeval forests. It's very old and this is not photoshoped. It's hollow inside but it's still alive and growing. It's so big that we two could step inside to take this photo with a tripod and an automatic release.

Dipping my toes into my new interest; macro photography. What better place to start than the cliche picture of your own eyeball! .. The small veins are probably caused by rubbing my eyes too much due to hay fever.
