The Angel's Keyblade~ Chapter 8
I was actually in that realm; well, at least in spirit.
The woman smiled at me. "You must be quite gifted to have been able to hear me," she said.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"My name is Aqua. I am a Keyblade Master -an advanced Keyblade Wielder- but still very much like yourself," she replied.
"Why are you here? The worlds are disappearing; you could be helping others. Isn't that the duty of a Keyblade Wielder?"
Master Aqua shook her head. "I can't. There's no way for me to leave here."
I looked her over and realized some of her clothes were torn. "H-how long have you been trapped here?"
"Not sure. You can never tell if time passes here."
"How did you get here, then?"
That made her reluctant, but she answered after a few moment's hesitation. "I took a dear friend's place so he wouldn't have to live in Darkness."
She nodded. "But I fear I was too late." She looked into the distance and added, "My time to leave this place will come in good time, so don't worry about m

Miroku and Sango halted and looked over their shoulders.
Inuyasha's head was tilted upward as he sniffed the air. "Something don't smell right."
"Is it a demon?" Shippo questioned.
"We would have sensed it if it were," Sango stated.
Inuyasha was silent for a bit longer before he threw up his arms and ruffled his long white hair in frustration. "Dammit! I know I've smelled this before, but I can't figure out from where!"
Kagome sighed. I wonder if he'll ever change, she thought to herself.
"Don't worry about it, Inuyasha," Miroku said, waving off the half-demon's irritation with his hand and a smile on his face. "In the meantime, I think I saw a castle and village up ahead."
The rest of the company watched with the same disgruntled look as the perverted monk joyfully marched downy eh dirt road, the thought of money, women, and how to trick the lord into believing the castle needed an exorcism the only things on his mind
Enter Hikaru~ I'm Your Guardian Chara! The sound of birds chirping and the feeling of the warm sunlight on her face caused Kazuko's eyes to slowly open. She sat up in her bed and stretched her arms up, yawning. She rubbed the sleep sand out from the corner of her eyes, then grabbed her brown-rimmed eye glasses from the nightstand by her bed. She put them on, her surroundings now more clear, and started to push the blankets off her legs. She let out of squeak and fell out of her bed, taking the covers with her.Enter Hikaru~ I'm Your Guardian Chara!3 years ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
Still surprised, Kazuko pushed away her red-brown hair from her face and peered over the rim of her bed. It was still there, though she couldn't believe it; a guinea pig-sized egg with a flame pattern and silver moon on it sat on the bed where her lower body had been.
"This isn't happening. This isn't happening," Kazuko kept repeating to herself. She got to her feet and started pacing the room, looking at the egg every so often. "I couldn't have laid an egg. It's not even scientifically possible."

I began to open my eyes, but quickly closed them when I was blinded by a white light. A terrible headache settled in and I swore I saw stars dancing in the back of my eyes. Once I was sure the headache dimmed and the light show stopped, I braved opening my eyes again, this time shielding them with my hand. After I adjusted, I realized that no light had rendered me sightless, but I was in a pure white room, though it was more of an open space, for it was vacant of any walls, furniture, windows, or door.
It was then that I remembered the storm that had destroyed my home and swept away my parents and siblings. The last thing I recalled was being stuck underneath a piece of the collapsed roof, and the strange twister was just upon me when a golden light stripped me of my vision before all went black.
"Did I die?" I asked herself, getting to my feet.
"Thankfully, no," a voice replied.
I spun a sharp 180 degrees around to find a tall man standing five paces away from me. He appeared to be mi

The Kami watched as the one known as Neji began to breathe his last breaths.
They had watched him ever since he had battled against the one they hoped would finally bring peace to their creation. Watched as he abandoned his hate for his Uncle's family, watched as he finally became the man his father hoped he would be.
Watched as he defied their plans for him by jumping in front of the spear meant for his cousin, whose death was supposed to finally spur their champion into the necessary sacrifices needed to defeat the two who threatened his world.
The chief Kami shook his head. No… he will not let Neji Hyuuga die like this. But how to stop what has already begun? Yes, he and his fellow Kami could easily bring the boy back to life, but they all knew that to do so would invite Jashin to take control of the world. No more battles to the death… no more lies about just who or what he was… nothing. Which was probably part of the man’s current problem.
It wasn’t that he absolutely needed something to happen, like it would’ve been for several people he had once known (including his student and his best friend). No, this man’s restlessness was caused by one thing, and one thing only.
He needed to regain his honor… the honor that he threw aside once he had decided to force his student to kill him. At the time, he had felt it was the only way, but once he had died he realized at just how… cowardly that action had been.
