No one in hell is really dead.
The projector runs in the dark theater, rapid click-click-click blurring into a whirring like the ten-times-a-second beat of a mouse's heart and swirling sound-waves into the silence. She cups her hand out in front of her, staring at it fixedly, and not at the dusty beam of washed-out light that throws an image onto the screen. From her periphery, all she sees is red, cherry-red on black, but she ignores it, looking instead at the mouse in her hand, tiny buzzing heartbeat in her palm, pulse-pulse-pulsing its throb away so quickly. She places fingertips on her own heart, and ever-so-slowly, she feels them sink through her skin and pierce her sternum, until beneath the whorls and ridges beats the slow steady lub-dub of her own heart. She compares, staring at the mouse in her hand with such an intensity that she's surprised it doesn't melt away, and then suddenly it does, leaving nothing but a vibrating little heart an

he gave me a weak smile and waved back.
this is him:
skinny, with jagged bones, pale skin and thick, coal-colored hair that falls unevenly around his shoulders. last year he asked my best friend for acid and yesterday i learned that he doesnt like psychologists because he thinks theyre people who are paid to care. i wouldnt disagree with that.
today we went to the beach and drew pictures with sticks in the wet sand. he wore a baggy 1970-styled sweater. it was the same color green as his eyes.
when i met him i was cautious otherwise i felt like the boy in front of me would fall to pieces. someday he probably will.
when his eyes flutter in his sleep i can only hope that those are good dreams hes having. when hes alone and crying i can only hope he doesnt drown in his tears.

A high pitched ringing blares Lightning deaf as her eyes make an attempt to come back into focus. The ground cold against her cheek as time seems to slow. She shifts lifting her head, the echo of the surrounding chaos almost mute against her blared senses. She pulls herself up to her knees, shakes her head. Looks at her hand when she feels the warmth of blood, returns it to her left temple then looks at it again.
Then shoots her gaze up as her deafness zeroes out to screaming. Time resuming its chaos as people shove past her, both away and toward the flames of the stadium that was now filled with countless corpses or those who were not yet a corpse.
Lightning stands, her eyes lingering on the very scene that laid out before her. Struck with horror as men, woman, and children alike burst out of the remnants covered in flames. The heat burning their flesh like a torch on meat as others rush to them and try to kill the flames. Some collapse before

"I was talking to lightning. About something..."
"OK, it would help if I knew what, fang." the younger sister smiled. Fang smiled too and cleared her throat. "I was hoping to start a family with lightning, but she seems a bit off the idea"
"well she has just woken up fang"
"I knew that, and you sounded just like her then." fang smiled. "I really want to start a family with her, even if its just one kid. I know serah's just had a baby, but imagine if me and lightning had a baby. They would be so cute and beautiful..."
"so, you want lightning to get pregnant and to carry your baby, is that what your trying to say?"
"yes " fang blushed. t

Lightning knows she´s asleep, in between her dream she´s perfectly aware it´s exactly that, a dream but the drenching smell of burned flesh is far too real, far too perceptible, and so intense it nauseates her, almost making her vomit. The pain, and the dizziness, are also just too real to be a mere dream. Her ears are ringing, and she feels disoriented, her body aching everywhere. Though her eyes are open, the scene is blurred, enveloped in a faint darkness that sometimes is replaced by what she thinks should be daylight. The earth around her feels like shaking, or is she the one moving? There are shadows, and lights, and figures moving fast, and in between her confusion, she realizes that sometimes she´s able to see the ground, while the next moment she´s facing the sky. She can´t make out anything correctly, the only recognizable feature is a dim light in front of her and someone´s faraway yells of help and then, as if her min

"What's the romantic thing Kiba's ever done for you?"
Amber eyes blinked before turning to look at the blond girl beside her. Karui sat a few feet away from her, underneath a red and white umbrella in a golden two piece. Ino lay out in the beach sun, her top straps loosed not leave behind tan lines.
"Why do you care?" The Kumo nin asked carefully. Ino propped herself on her elbows to turn her head properly at her new friend.
"Because I dated that bonehead for several months and I like to make sure he's treating you better than he did me."
'Well at least she was honest,' Karui took a moment to recollect all their dates thus far, her face noticeably darkening the more she remembered. It was at this that Ino had a Chesire like grin on her face, practically ready to devour whatever Karui was about to tell her.
"It was after our third date, on the night before I was supposed to head back to Kumo. I was just packing my things, when all of a

Andrew didn't like girls. Well, no, that's too blunt. He liked them, but he could hardly withstand them, sometimes. To him, they're to complex a creature to understand; always asking for wants and needs. And when he tries to fulfill them, they decline it and turn away, running back to their ex's or even boys that are complete jerks. So, he gave up on relationships in all.
But that didn't mean he had girl friends. He usually complained about the problem with women to them. There was an equal balance between comprehensible and explanatory sides as to what Andrew's points were.
One day, while he was busily ranting on more about the problem with women, a girl walked up to him, with an expression of anger and annoyance, "I've heard your little rants about us," She began. "Not all women are like that, you know."
He turned to her, "Really? Is that why you're constantly running back to your ex-boyfriends that treat you like total crap? Is that the kind of respect you girls crave

The Wish It was somewhere during the middle-age, at the king's castle. Four lines of knights were standing in front of the throne, their armors shining, weapons sharpened to their finest. It was a time of battle - mere sport, for now - and every one of the knights was certain he'll win. The king's reward was more than promising - to fulfill the knight's one wish. And wishes they had plenty of - money, women, lands, that one wanted to become the king's general, the other would rather have a house in the city. The Wish3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
As the duels went, one knight stood clearly over the others. He won every battle, never lost a single one. He was strong and deadly, no more than few powerful strikes with his heavy sword, and his foe was defeated. The king was impressed. After the last duel, he called up the knight and announced him the winner.
"What do you want, then, brave warrior?" asked the king, smiling.
"Your daughter's hand, your Majesty." answered the knight, bowing h
