"What sort of deal?"
The pale boy stepped closer to you, holding both hands behind his back. "Well, it's simple really. Just-"
You blinked and he was behind you, whispering soft as a winter breeze, "Close your eyes."
The frigid numbness of your limbs was replaced by a warm tingling as you eyelids felt extremely heavy. A sprinkle of something gold made it's way into your line of vision before your (e/c) eyes closed, leaving you in the hands of the strange boy of the snow.
Waking up was a difficult task that required way too much effort on your part.
Sighing, you rolled over onto your back and stared at the iced-over ceiling of your room. You closed your eyes, then snapped them open again to observe the view above you.
It definitely wasn't the flat white of your room.
Sitting up, the blankets fell from your shoulders and piled around your wa

"Oh my God, Jack! Just sit still for a moment!"
The hyper ice prince paused in his skating around for a second, just long enough for you to get the dishes safely in their cabinet. Walking past him as he began sliding once more on the frozen tiles of your kitchen, you snatched the staff from his hands, not pausing once.
The ice melted. "Hey! (F/n)!" he began his chase after you, bare feet slipping a bit on the smooth tile. You simply ignored him and brought the staff in your room with you, locking the door for good measure.
Jack pounded on the door and groaned, "(F/n)!"
"Go clean something!" you shouted out to him, raising the volume of your music until you couldn't hear him, "And no skating in the house!"
Humming along to the loud music blaring from your stereo, you threw yourself down onto your bed and picked up your sketch pad and pencil, cleaning up your latest sketch.
But, when the song changed to one of your favorites, you hopped up, g

It was strange, you recalled, laying against Jack's chest, to think of the way you came to live with the not quite human. He had tricked you, and you had tricked him. And kissing you was only the beginning.
The two of you parted, a stubborn blush evident on his pale face. His dark brows were furrowed with determination. "Please don't leave."
This shocked you. Sure, you didn't know the guy, but he didn't seem like one to beg. "A-alright," you said nervously, hoping that he'd stop acting so randomly so that you'd know how to deal with him.
A bright grin lit his face, "Awesome!" You smiled too, but your teeth chattered in sudden realization of the cold in the ice cave. You rubbed your hands up and down your chilled arms, but that didn't help much. Jack looked sympathetic for a moment, before hope sparked in his pale blue eyes. "I have an deal for you! An actual one this time, not like before."
And so, Jack Frost came home with you. Pr

"My mother," you tried to absorb everything that just happened, "wants to meet you?"
Jack was cheerily oblivious. "Yep!" he told you with a grin, "She seems like a very nice person."
You shot him a withering glare, then threw your head back, rubbing your eyes with a hand. "Nice, right."
Suddenly he was very wary of the situation. "Why? Is she not?"
"Oh no, she's an amazing woman. Best mother ever," you paused before continuing, "She's just- very involved."
His blue eyes widened, "How do you mean?"
Rubbing your temples, you looked at him, "Well-"
The doorbell rang and Jack smiled sheepishly at you, "She said she was dropping by."
Frantically, you stumbled to the door, slipping on a patch of ice but catching yourself on the doorknob just as your mother was turning it. She pushed the door open a crack before your weight stopped her.
A nervous laugh left your lips, "Hey mom! Just a moment, k?"
Slamming the door shut, your (e/c) eyes darted arou

Your large pad of sketch paper rested on your knees as you observed the winter wonderland around you. Icicles hung from bare trees and the snow surrounding your park bench was free from any footprints aside from yours and the animals' from the night before.
A puff of air was visible as you sighed contently, closing your eyes and drawing what came to mind.
Unsure of what you were sketching out, you winked open one eye to see a staff. It's top was oddly shaped, curving into a blocky crescent shape each time your pencil created a knot in the wood. You stared down at the staff, tilting your head to the side as you tried to imagine what it was and where you had seen it.
But before your brain could even begin to think of names or reasons, a chilled gust of wind blew the pad out of your grip.
Frantically, you slipped your boot-clad feet out from under you. "No!" you shouted at the frigid air, hopping off of your b

You could feel all of the cheerfulness be sucked out of Jack when he heard those words.
"What do you mean 'Pitch is back'?"
The giant rabbit standing in front of the pale boy sighed, tapping a long foot absentmindedly on your wooden floors. "Just that, mate. He's back."
Now a heavy silence brewed between them. The tension in the air nearly suffocated you, but you had no idea what was going on.
Still sitting up in you bed, you called Jack's name out. He turned around, letting you know you had his attention. "What's going on?"
Looking back at the Easter Bunny, Jack's lean shoulders slumped. He stepped closer to you, pressing a chilling kiss to your temple.
"I have to go for a bit," he told you, "but I'll be back." His pale blue eyes searched yours for something as he reassured you, "I promise."
The words were weighted down by heavy meaning and you nodded to him.
Smiling sadly, he looked away from you and back to the bunny in your bedroom. Fou

“Jack!” a thickly accented voice called out the moment said guardian stepped out of the rabbit’s hole, “You made it!”
Pressing his thin lips together in an uneasy smile, the boy nodded at the Russian man clad in red.
Noticing his grim expression, North gently rested a giant hand of Jack’s shoulder. “It’s alright, Jack, everything will be fine.”
Light blue eyes downcast, Jack thought of (F/n) alone at her house. “I hope you’re right.”
You scooted backwards, nearly falling off the back of your bed. “I-I’m not afraid of anything!” you shouted diligently.
The shadowy figure chuckled. “Now we both know that’s a lie,” he told you, golden eyes narrowed and shining with humor. Black sand began forming a tall pile, slightly taller than you. The pile quickly took shape

But your sleep didn’t last long, for only one short hour after the tears finally drying and your bloodshot eyes closing, you were awakened by a fierce nightmare.
Gasping, you jolted upright in your bed, (e/c) eyes searching for the mop of snow white hair that you knew you weren’t going to see. You licked your dry lips and tried to calm your breathing. “Oh, Jack,” you whispered to yourself, face stiff from the dried tears.
Drawing in a deep breath, you closed your eyes. “I am not afraid of the Boogeyman,” you told yourself, opening your eyes to the pitch black of your room.
“Hm, how cute,” a dry voice said, startling you, “But, if you can see me, that means you’re lying,” he sang, voice eerily quiet and sending shivers down your spine.
Reaching across your bed, you flicked on the lamp that would at least let you see whatever intruder was in your house. His gaunt, shadow-r

He was back, but of course it wasn’t the right ‘he’.
You stayed up that night, terrified of the prospect of nightmares caused at the hands of Pitch Black. What you didn’t realize is that nightmares become real while you are awake. The shadows in the corner of your room seemed denser than usual, and you watched as they formed the lean and frightening shape of the Boogieman.
“Still alone?” he hummed in that mocking voice of his, “I’d have thought your little playmate would be back by now.”
Swallowing down your external fear, you cringed away from the man. “You should know,” you spat, “He’s after you.”
Pitch’s lips curled up in a sinister smirk. “But if he really cared about you wouldn’t he be here to protect you?” He left the question hanging in the air, smirk growing when he saw you had no answer for him. “Do you really believe th

You sighed, placing your book down and looking at the rain around you from under the overhanging roof of a building. "This sucks." It was one week from Christmas and yet, there was no snow again. "Woe is me," you cried out, dramatically waving you arms about you like a Shakespearean actor, "for there art not a signal snowflake to kiss the earth. Woe. Woe!" You spun into rain and fell into the grass, placing your hand onto your forehead. You look from under your hand, checking that no one was there. You grinned, feeling your jeans and sweater stick to you and laughed.
"You appear to be insane." You heard someone say. You sit up, your (h/c) hair sticking to your face as you look for the onlooker.
"Ah!" You scream, feeling something slide behind you. You jump up, loosing your beanie in the process, and look at where you were sitting, only to find no one there. "Huh, I must be going insane." you mutter.

“Look, guys,” Jack said, clearly frustrated by his current situation, “I just know that she’s in danger. We need to check up on her.”
The rest of the Guardians stood watching as their most recent partner paced across the golden floors of Santa’s factory. “Jack,” North said, taking the smallest step forward and into the path of said teen. “I know you feel the need to protect your friend, but I am sure that-”
Jack glared up at the Russian man with steely blue eyes. “I promised her that I would be back. I have to keep her safe.”
“Oi! Slush for brains!” Now Jack turned his glare to the giant rabbit trying to get his attention. His voice was low as he turned everyone’s attention to the platform closest to the giant globe. “You may want to see this.”
The room was silent as everyone turned to face the globe where a single light was flashing bright

You sighed and slumped back into your chair and held your knees against your chest. This had been the third snow day in a row, and so far you weren't enjoying it. A few days before you had gotten the flu, and could not attend the skiing and skating trip your friends, and the rest of the school were doing. Now they were stuck up there due to the weather-but it obviously wasn't a problem since they had eachother and all the free time to ski and skate-while you were stuck back at home with no friends to hang out with-within your range anyway-and your parents were working away at solving what to do about the leaks in the attic.
Light snow began to fall, and you groaned.
There was a light tap on the window, and when your head perked up, there was nothing.
"Just the wind." your growled before staring at the scarf you got last winter that you forgot to wear. You snapped your fingers and smiled to yourself.

Jack FrostxReader~Nipping at your NoseThe signs of summer were officially gone with the trees turning colors, and fall settling in. Everything was okay, until it suddenly became below freezing. Every day you'd have to trug along the wet snowy path to school, and be dragged around the park with your brother when he needed to get 'out of the house'. It was surpruizing that your parents never forced you to go outside, since you were the only one in the family that despised the stuff. It was just the cold period. Being fulled equipped with your scarf, mittens, snow shoes, hat, heavy coat, and warm leggings, you finally waddled out of the house behind your eager brother, who was dying to get to the park. It was a packing snow day..great. Perfect for making forts, snow men and ughhhh. You winced at the thought. Snow balls. The rememberance of being hit so many times in the face, and nearly getting blue fingers in fourth grade made you never want to be out in the snow again.Jack FrostxReader~Nipping at your Nose3 years ago in Romance More Like This

You opened your eyes to find you are in your bedroom.
Sitting up, your (eye c) eyes scan your surroundings.
Your room is iluminated my the moon, casting shadows against every wall.
You look over to your clock, which sat on the dresser opposite your bed.

Placing your hands on the window sill, you look up to the moon.

It had been one week.
One week without Jack making an appearance.
One week of being confined at home for "running away"
Throughout the week you were at battle with yourself.
Were the things you experienced with the winter spirit only days ago a figment of your imagination?
These things certainly crossed your mind. In fact, they ceased to leave it.

Quietly pirouetting in on silvery-toed slippers of snow,
And we, we were children once again."

A cool breeze flowed through the North Pole while little snowflakes fluttered about the enormous workshop. The workshop was filled with the scent of freshly baked cookies, filled with busy yetis, elves were running around, and colors were everywhere in sight. A silver haired boy flew into the shop and examined the place with great joy and admiration. The grin on his face grew larger and he allowed his stick to pull him through the factory to the designated office he had been invited to at a quick speed. With great ease, he flew around the working yeti and past all the toys that would be delivered on Christmas later that year. The painted red robots toppled off one of the workshop tables. The Yeti looked at its hard work that had fallen onto the ground. The furry creature just couldn’t seem to cut a break as he shot the

Whoever had invented the idea in terms of it being a "fun way to pass the time" was a complete and utter idiot.
Stumbling around on the surface of a frozen lake on too-tight for comfort ice skates that squeezed and pinched your feet in the most uncomfortable way as you waddled around like a penguin was not your idea of fun. It was the complete opposite. It was horrendous, absolutely exhausting, humiliating, and just completely and utterly a waste of your valuable time.
Then again, being that you had moved out to the middle of nowhere right when winter had decided to kick in, it wasn't like you had anything better to do.
