"Alfred, are sure you want to see this?"
It was noisy Saturday night, people up and down the streets. Alfred made you go to the movies with him. You expected him to see some dumb, funny movie but it wasn't. Instead it was a really, bloody movie. You glanced at Alfred, he was standing quite normal, but knowing him, deep inside he was about to cry. You stiffly laughed, as you walk to the ticket booth. 'Arthur is going to kill me for doing this to Alfred.'
"Two ticket to (random scary movie.)"
"Here you go, m'am."
You thanked the man, and went to grab Alfred. Every since you were little, you two always watched scary movies. It really didn't frighten you, but to Alfred.... It was like someone coming to kill him. That was the reason you didn't want to see the movie, Alfred will pee in his pants just seeing the first 30 seconds. Alfred happily skipped to the front row of the screen. 'He d

It was Alfred. You sighed, wondering if he was calling because he was having nightmares or something. You flipped open your phone and said in a flat voice, “What do you want?”
“Hey dudette! Hope I didn’t wake you up!” you heard him, chipper as ever.
“…..” you couldn’t think of anything nice to say.
“Oh.. geez, sorry, dudette… but there’s something I wanted to show you!” he said. You could almost feel his excitement burst through the phone.
“…Look, Alfie, it’s 1:35 a.m. in the morning, I’m tired, and I have to work tomorrow. Can’t this wait?” you told him as you tried your best to stifle a yawn.

You were bored as hell. Just like that. Your parents went out for dinner and left you home, so you could study for your tests. Like if you would. You'd studied all day long, and you just couldn't take it anymore, the math book laid open in your desk, with pencils and highlighter around it, but without you paying attention to them. The more you looked at it the more you didn't understand it.
You sighed and sat on your bed, looking outside the window. It was raining and rather cold outside, causing you to feel more bored than usual. 'God, why can't I just go and hang out with some friends?' you thought lying down and staring at the ceiling. As if someone read your mind, your mobile phone vibrated announcing the arrival of a new text message. You opened it and checked the ID. It was your best friend Alfred F. Jones.
HEY DUDE!!! WHATCHA DOING NOW? I'M SO FREAKIN BORED!! CAN'T STUDY FOR THE MATH TEST!
You giggled a little. Alfred was certainly bored, he was way too energetic t
AmericaXReader- Captain America and GingerbreadThe scent of gingerbread and peppermint wafted through the air of the house, along with the slight smell of beer as well. Despite all the excitement going on inside, Alfred was standing outside at the front porch of his house, leaning against the wooden railing of the large house, a steaming mug of cocoa in his hands, settled carefully on the wooden beam as he stared off into the distance. Although it was his own party, and it was rather right in the middle of all its excitement for the holidays, he wasn't interested at the moment. He hung out front, huddled up in his large jacket, followed by a cozy scarf wrapped comfortably around his neck, quietly sipping his hot beverage.
Why was he waiting outside while everyone else was inside the warmth of the house, having fun, drinking, or even just enjoying the pa

"...That would sound lovely, Alfred." You murmured softly.
"R-Really...? Do you mean that?" You blushed slightly and nodded.
"But promise me that you'll keep this to yourself. The men will think wrong thoughts." The grin on the blond man stretched widely across his face and you playfully nudged at his side with your elbow.

Oh boy, how wrong you were. About him not being able to cheer you up that is. Alfred could sense your despair as soon as he saw you. For a guy who was often accused of not being able to "sense the mood", he sure could read you pretty well.
"Awwww, what's wrong, __________?" He asked, concerned.
"Nothing, Alfred." You lied, knowing it was pointless. He'd annoy the hell out of you until he got you to fess up. He was oddly sweet like that. Maybe that's why you were secretly in love with him?

You made you way down the street, plugging into your portable music player. You listened to your favorite song as you walked, staring down at the ground as it pasted you by. You zoned out into your own world with your music blaring that you did not notice a group of guys making their ways towards you, also absorbed in their conversation.

He was begging you for permission – permission to eat burgers. As much as you loved the guy, which you literally do, you had to be strong. Your legs swung lazily back and forth as you watched the clouds roll by. The sky was bright and blue, no hint of dark clouds anywhere. At least, as far as you could see through the light green leaves of the park's trees. It was a wonderful day.
Alfred Jones sat next to you on the wooden ledge, swinging his legs in sync with yours. He was a good friend and longtime love interest. You tried to let him know without being too forward or blunt about it, but it appeared he was so dense he never thought anything more of it than friendship, let alone love.
Maybe you could try again today.
"So," Alfred sighed, pulling you away from your train of thought, "I'm hungry."
"You're always hungry," you pointed out, glancing sideways at him.
He ignored your comment. "I want ice cream."
"I'll have some," you said simply, staring back up at the sky.
Alfred started shuffling through his pockets. "That's cool. I think I have enough money."

It was Christmas Eve and as usual, you were alone…again.
This always happens to you every year. You wished and hoped for someone to be there and accompany you all the time. But, all the people you knew were all busy.
Sighing, you went to your living room with a blanket draping on your shoulders to keep yourself warm from the cold Christmas and a hot chocolate to keep your temperature high.
