I swore softly as I slowly peeled off the multiple bandaids I had stuck to my leg. The tan tape like material ripping at the hair under the sticky part. Luckily, it didn't peel off any of the giant scab that had formed over the cut.
I watched as blood began to swell around the cut and run down the side of my thigh. After the blood came the sting, like millions of tiny needles were being pushed into my skin and moved around in agonizing circles inside of it. I swore again and quickly rushed to the bathroom, grabbing a black washcloth and pressing it against my thigh.
