An anniversary picture for my boyfriend We're together for 3 years

wants to throw my character Izora with a water spell

This image was hard to do. It has many flaws but I like it anyway

So I was sitting at work...thinking if a mermaid is half human/ half fish? what does a half human/ half shark look like...?

Then I made this mess.... I don't even know... but they don't look like they would get along too well...OTL <sup>or would they


That isn't Ariel, just pointing that out, its some random girl/fish and I used too many red layers so her hair turned from brown to red
..
Also had this weird urge to draw water and something non-fanart related for once...</sup>

This is kinda a strange thing for me to draw since I don't like anthro type stuff, though I would call this more mythical? Meh...

You might recognise her from this!

Wanted to draw a couple hugging, and I liked her design so I wanted to use her here. (Also wanted to add a little poem to it - basically just describing hugs haha ) There could be a story behind this - is this in one of her stories she dreams up? Did she find someone who feels the same as she does?!
