MY LITTLE PONY: EYES AND HOURGLASSES
Chapter III: "Making Friends"
Written by Diane N. Tran, with original song by Rachel Rambach
As the festivities continued uninterrupted below, the winged pony ascended the stairwell and went through each room of the building, floor by floor — kitchen, bedroom, library, stockroom, and whooooaaaaaa! She reached the top floor and her wall-eyes gazed around the sight of massive room that amassed a labyrinthine jungle of the rusted cogs and jagged gears of the Old Clock Tower. The patchwork of holes left in the broken roof allowed glowing beams of sunlight to stream into the room, as a flock of white pigeons fluttered out. The walls hung with hundreds of clocks, clocks of all kinds, all different shapes and sizes, ticking and tocking in all different ways. Position

Chapter II: "The Welcome Wagon Comes to Town"
Written by Diane N. Tran
For the first time in her mail-mare career, the pegasus named Derpy Hooves was late in a delivery. That delivery consisted of one single, solitary letter to be dropped off at the very last residence of her rounds, Ponyville's Old Clock Tower. When she arrived at the building, she was, of course, as punctual as ever, but the mail-box was still missing from the lawn and she didn't have the courage to knock on the door again.
Dressed in her saddlebags, pacing back and forth, she was at a loss of what to do at the moment, so she paced some more. If she left it on the doorstep, the wind could blow it away. If she slipped it underneath the doormat, it might not be seen. Then a thought came to her, perhaps she could squeeze the letter between the cracks of the door.
Placing the letter between he

Chapter I: "Mail Call"
Written by Diane N. Tran
Derpy Hooves was Ponyville's neighbourhood mail-mare. When she was first hired for this job, there was a great deal sniggering all over Cloudsdale for hiring the ridiculous, little cross-eyed pegasus. Luckily for her, looks can be deceiving and, in time, she became the best mail-mare that Ponyville ever had.
Letter by letter, parcel by parcel, she would work her way from one end of town to the other, zipping from house to house, building by building, slipping envelopes into each mail-box and each mail-slot, and waving to each pony she passed by. Through rain, wind, or shine, she was there every morning without fail and one thing she always prided herself on was never being late and, today, she was ahead of schedule. If she kept this up, she might treat herself with muffins at Sugarcube Corner a dozen<

"You're going to what?"
"I'm going to marry her," I calmly reply, peering at my friend over the rim of my mug. Caramel blinks at me, firmly setting his mug down and rubbing his forehead with his forefingers.
"That's what I thought you said," he sighs. I stare at him a moment before I tear my gaze away and softly rest my drink on the counter. My blue eyes study my reflection in the murky brown before they swivel to the side opposite of Caramel. Noteworthy has the same expression as our mutual companion.
Now, I sigh. "… you're thinking the same thing."
"Um… yeah. I am."
My ears blaze with growing annoyance and I fold my arms against the counter with a frown. I stare angrily into my cocoa as my friends exchange awkward glances over my shoulders. "L-listen, Time Turner," Caramel starts, setting his hand on my shoulder. I huff in response. "We're happy for you—we're glad you've found someone, it's just… Well, maybe she's not the right one—"
"… I'm going to stop you right there, Caramel," I
Thunder: A TimeBubbles StoryIt was late at night, thunder and lightning crossing the sky. I was scared out of my mind of both, and I couldn't sleep. I looked over at my nightstand. There were a few muffins (as usual) and a little piece of paper. "What's this?" I asked myself. I unfolded the piece of paper and read it's contents. I'd recognize that hoofwriting anywhere. 'If you need anything, anything at all, just call,' and there was his number.
Admit to being scared of thunder? No way! The Doctor runs from cyberponies and Daleks all day. He'd just think I was silly. Everyone thinks I'm silly. And stupid. They all judge me by my eyes. I'm a lot more than that, I guess. I don't believe it, but that's what the Doctor tells me. Either way, he'd think it was stupid to be afraid of something small like thunder.
But then again, he did say 'anything.' I guess I needed a dealbreaker...
Another roll of thunder boomed outside.
"Okay, that's it," I said, near tears with fear. I dialed the numbers, and before t

*Crash crumble* “Now careful Derpy! You don’t want to do any damage than you’ve already done…” Rainbow Dash said irritated as the roof crumbled down. I jumped on a cloud as I thought to myself. I thought it would be a good idea to try to help the community! But I - I just don’t know what went wrong! “I just don’t know what went wrong!” I said. Then from jumping on a cloud I zapped myself. That moment I knew I was no help to anypony. My heart sank. Why was I born with these eyes? Why me? Rainbow Dash pushed a nail into the wood and said “Yeah big mystery…” with great sarcasm. My heart sank more. I knew I had to keep it together so I tried to start a conversation. “Nice work Rainbow Dash!” I said but talking made me lose my balance (I’m a very clumsy pony because of my eyes) and I fell into a wooden post, making it fall down. Rainbow Dash flew fast tr

The little gray Pegasus filly jumped right out of bed. "Coming, mom!" she yelled back. She sped downstairs and ate her apple pancakes, courtesy of Sweet Apple Acres.
"You would think that they'd be too busy for us, with the new foal coming any day. I think it's that Big Mac colt doing it. He likes you, you know." Mrs. Hooves teased her daughter. Bright Eyes ducked her head, embarrassed.
'Could he like me? I'm just a poor filly, and he already has a cutie mark and everything.' she thought to herself. Bright Eyes certainly hoped so. He was the most popular colt in Ponyville. Then her mother came out of the kitchen with a small brown paper bag.
"Guess what I have!" she said tantalizingly.

"Shh, shh," he whispered, lifting a hoof to touch the trembling Pegasus' cheek. Her honey eyes filled with tears as he touched his nose to the base of her muzzle.
"Please, please," she murmured, looking at the screwdriver he had in his hoof.
He silenced her with a soft kiss on her forehead. "I promise that I will find you, just hold on, and I will be there," he gently assured her, pulling her close to him, letting her listen to his pounding heart. Her shoulders trembled as she sobbed into his chestnut coat and he nuzzled her desperately. "Derpy I will find you."
"B-but I'm right here, Doctor! I'm right here!" The stallion's blue eyes shut slowly and he sighed sadly through his nose. He felt the smart of tears as his companion pressed her lips to his lightly. "S-see? I'm right here!" she assured him, kissing him again.
He pulled away reluctantly and looked into her swimming, honey gaze. "I'll find you, I promise."

"Nonsense! Think of it as an apology for your lack of muffins," the Doctor responded as he adjusted his tie and checked his reflection in the mirror. He hummed softly and then fixed his jacket's cuffs before he ran a hoof through his mane, giddily chuckling as it simply reverted back to its spiked position.
"No, really I can't dance. I can't even see straight enough to walk properly!" Ditzy argued, awkwardly fixing the crystal baubles that the doctor gave her for hair decoration.
"Oh, bah! Dancing's easy, I can teach you quickly," he laughed, peering into the back room he set up for her changing room. He blinked and then smiled lightly before he brushed back the curtain and stepped towards her. "Here, hold still, you silly filly."
"I'm not a filly," Ditzy huffed as he softly adjusted the crystals in her thick, wild mane. The stallion merely grinned and tenderly gathered her hair over one shoulder, collecting it into a low bu

Chrysalis was flying through the air at an incredible speed, a screaming grey and cerulean rocket over the Equestrian skies. Her legs flailed about helplessly, unable to regain control or slow herself down. The wind was whistling so loud in her ears, she could not make out the millions of thoughts racing through her head or even her screams of rage and anguish. Through the pinkish haze in her eyes she could see Canterlot castle, her precious war prize, shrinking into the distance until all she could see was a microscopic white speck, and the sight of her glorious army being scattered in all directions from the city.
She did not know when it would end; she was not slowing down and by now, she was probably going so fast that if she collided with something, it would likely kill her instantly. If anything, she would welcome it. She had been so close; the Princess was neutralized, the city was completely under her arm

Two days had passed since that horrible night and the royal palace was in a state of mourning; the likes of their worst nightmares come to life. Their most cherished and adored family member was in the hospital and the Queen had not left her royal chamber since then. That night, she quietly ordered the head servants to instruct everychangeling to leave her alone. Later, she magically locked her doors, gladly cutting herself off from the outside world.
When Chrysalis did not come out the following morning for breakfast, or to begin her duties for that day, it was, for the most part, understandable. Still, her royal duties needed to be fulfilled, regardless of the circumstances, but Danauria, the natural next-in-line, wrinkled her muzzle in disgust at the thought of herself undertaking anything to do with politics or requiring her to write more than two sentences on parchment. She instead delegated them to her uncle, who accepted them willingly and
