I found the original photo of this manip. enchanting. I thought about it and I knew I wanted to mess with it. So I did! Didn't want to make it too abstract, so I just played with little things on it. Yaya has practically black eyes, so makeing them lighter was a challenge, but fun! Yaya is my favorite person to make manips. of, so whenever I see a picture of her that catches my eye, it's fun to play with it.

:iconnyanova: showed me a picture Yaya Han, and then I realized that I had seen her before.

I took this year at ACEN. I'll have to remember to try and take better pictures next year, but I'll have more experience with my new camera by then.

Hope she doesn't mind being posted

This is Yaya Han, [link] in a costume based on a design by Nene Thomas, [link] When I first saw this costume on Yaya I knew I would have to make a CG of it. The wings are just amazing, I'm in awe everytime I see them. Yaya is a total goddess with feathers. Again, like in 90% of my Photo Manips., the base pictures were taken by Kyle Johnsen of Cosplay.com.

I didn't want to reuse Lily's title, so I made a new one. These costumes are beyond gorgeous, I just want to steal them away.

The models in this photo manip. are Lillyxandra and Yaya Han. This photo was taken by Rich: [link]

From that sketchbook I sold. After filling 30 pages of Sailor Moon, I then had to do 30 of Disney princesses.
I used a pic of cosplayer Yaya Han as ref, but meshed it with some official artowork pics and came up with something I liked very much. Her face is like the animation, only with a hint of realistic aspects.

I made this CG a while back of my good friend Yaya after she had one of her earlier modelling shoots. Photography by "Black Eye Photography", modeling by Yaya Han.

Greek's recent economic woes have apparently gotten the creative juices flowing at the Greek tourist Bureau. case in point: this poster, enlisting the most famous Greek ex-pat to pitch in for the mother land.

edit: as :iconvon-shonedogen: was good enough to point out, Diana is of course NOT greek - the tourism guys probably used her because of her Greek mythology connection.

So while I've been working on... things, Al has been planning a cosplay for our anime con table this year. And since we're doing a Zelda themed table, why not a Zelda cosplay? We're currently playing through Majora's mask and I've just always admired Anju. So Al was all like: cool, LETS DO IT! And so we're doing it.

This mostly started from me saying "Hey, I don't think I look good in a boat neck. Can we try a different neckline?" And so we took a photo and tried out a couple diff shapes, and the V seems to work the best while not deviating too much from the original design. And then shopped the lace we bought in, and it just sort of went from there.

SO PUMPED FOR THIS COSPLAY. Although I want to work on my voice, I think I'll have to delegate that (maybe. Right now I have some major life stuff that demands like.. attention NAO.)

The ears are from Aradani Studio, and these ones specifically are the large anime elf ears.

^^ Eventually there will be photos of both me (Anju) and Al (Kefei)
Anju (c) Nintendo (I mean, obviously)

Thanks for stopping by!
~Heart

PS If anyone wants to buy me a black pair of THESE in size 11 I would, I think, just die of happiness.
