Part two. Doing this during my spring break. But my same friend Korey who requested a body tutorial requested this hair one. So I hope this helps. I really didn't know what to put for this one thoughh

Leg Anatomy and measurement tutorial. Gotta love legs. Mmm.

More tutorials can be found in my gallery, in the Tutorials folder.

Currently available tutorials:

Sometimes people ask me why I use such insanely meticulous and yet unnecessary measurements. The reason? Well, although I personally don't need to measure so incredibly carefully, it's not only extremely beneficial knowing the exact location (hence allowing me to make more accurate estimates), but because it's for your benefit as well.

I've seen a lot of tutorials that gave a nice explanation, but still forced me to estimate the distances and sizes. Those tutorials, while somewhat helpful, didn't allow me to improve my anatomy at all. I always wished there was some kind of exact comparison, some kind of exact tutorial, for me to use.

I have not mastered or perfected anything prior to creating these tutorials. In fact, most of the time, I'm new to the subject!

I make my tutorials through extensive observation from both real life and references.

After studying these references, I am left with a huge canvas filled with images, ideas, measurements, and notes. So, why not organize them and turn them into a tutorial for everyone to use?

Update: Thank you so much for making this a daily deviation! I never would have imagined myself on the daily's page. Both very honored and surprised!

Over the years, probably the most often posed request has been: "Please make a hair tutorial one day!" Well, here we are. :)

This tutorial explains the basics of drawing hair and building it up out of strands and masses; it works in any medium as it explains the principle behind it rather than techniques limited to certain media.

If you're beyond beginner's level, this will probably have little new to offer to you, but still, enjoy! Hope it helps. :)

Now I really need to rush to the train home!!!!

A perspective of the human body seen from intense angles. Something close up and personal is implied by drawing something that's so "inside your bubble". There's a few other examples of this that I wanted to put in but didn't have room. If I can think of a few more I may make a supplementary piece.

YES I USE ANDREW LOOMIS BOOKS AS REFERENCE.
You guys should download his stuff, they are FREE ---> [link] [link] [link] <----- CLICK AND DOWNLOAD YOU SMARTHEADS.

His style is a bit old fashioned, but there's a reason why his methods still work out.

Oh and sorry if I didn't cover details like shoulders flexibility and that the body is 7 - 7,5 head units tall and not 8. READ THE GODDAMN TEXT BEFORE YOU POINT IT OUT. Srsly. It's not like I don't know that.
It's pretty hard to fill the tutorial with everything when the size limit is 18000 px, it may sound big but for a tutorial like this, it is not that much space.

Srsly. If you don't read the text in the tutorial, you'll miss stuff.

This definitely is not one of my best ones. I feel kinda lost here. Ugh. I hope I made some sort of sence.

I recommend this tutorial which covers the feet way better than I did: [link]

Please read description.

Motorcity belongs to Titmouse Studios.

Link to the blank meme on tumblr. <--- this meme is quite funny, also, if you haven't heard of Motorcity before you should check it out. It's a new tv-series and it has great diversity among the characters and it's very nice in general.

TUMBLR ARTBLOG <--- my tumblr is literally FILLED with mini-tutorials that I don't upload here on dA. You'll find a lot more stuff over there if you wanna see more.

MY LIVESTREAM CHANNEL

The recording process of making the tutorial. <--- I mention a bit more stuff in the livestream probably.

I know this doesn't have the usual layout as my other tutorials, but that's mainly because this is one of my so called "mini-tutorials" that I post on tumblr as a set of screenshots.

This tutorial is more focused on how to make your personal drawing style more flexible, so if you are still a beginner in drawing I suggest you first look up tutorials and other resources that cover the basics.

I made this tutorial while livestreaming, so if you wanna see how much time it sort of takes me to make this guide you can just head over to my livestream channel.
