Vampyratekitty for helping me choose my dress and jacket, as soon as you show3ed me that dress i just had to get it, it was great, though needed to be repaired by the mother-in-law a few times as it is a heavy dress and the straps were not too supportive. Even getting into the wedding car on the morning it tore a little again making me panic for a bit but it made it through the day.

I'm not sure if it is because I am thinking more about Thanksgiving lately (and how much I would kill for a turkey...or an oven to cook it with), but I have had recipes and cooking on the brain recently. And so I have begun developing a little idea for a contest. About cookies. And Hetalia. With prizes. Interested?
My idea was to revamp my old Hetalia cookie cards with a nicer, cleaner format. Add new pictures of the characters, pictures of the finished product, more recipes and characters, etc. and put them together into an actual cook book, which would be available for sale online. Revamping and cleaning up, I can do. But, as anyone who knows about my current situation knows, I can't bake cookies since I no longer have an oven.
So here is where the contest comes in!
For each of the existing recipes, I would like a picture of cookie that matches.

when she sees the Big Bad Wolf crouched down behind a log.
"My, what big eyes you have, Mr. Wolf,"

The surprised wolf jumps up and runs away.
Further down the road Little Red Riding Hood sees the wolf again;
this time he is crouched behind a tree stump.

The first time was Chris Weston, a year my junior. I landed a job as assistant to the late and very great Don Lawrence when I was 17, just edging out Chris. A year later Chris replaced me, and a year after that he was working for 2000ad. Today he's one of the finest comic strip artists in the business, as well as the best storyboard artist I have ever seen.
The second time was Ben Wolstenholme.
Don't get me wrong, Ben already had chops. He is an incredibly talented guy - and way too good looking for my liking too. He formed Moving Brands (a progressive, distinguished and award-winning branding agency) right out of college. He and I were both art scholars at the same school - he seven years my junior and following in my footsteps. He used to come round for drawing tips, and I'd draw him a Batman, or Judge Dredd, then get rid of him with a ruffle of the hair and head off down the pub.
