"Come on Toshiaki, throw the ball already!" Snapped Edgar impatiently, tapping his foot on the home plate.
"No, this pitch has to be perfect. I'll take as much time as I need to." Toshiaki squinted and pulled his arm back.
FLING! The ball hurtled towards home plate at record speed. Nassor raised his bat,
but unfortunately struck out as the ball whizzed past him and hit the fence.
"Good pitch!" Yelled Victor from the dugout.
"Better luck next time Nassor!"
"Hey Victor, why don't you bat!" Said Bob.
Victor shuddered at the thought. The last time he'd gone up to bat, his dog was hit and killed by a car,
so he'd generally grown to avoid it altogether after a while.
"Bob, do you even remember what happened to Victor in fourth grade?" Snarled Toshiaki.
"Yeah, he hit the winning pitch!"
"His dog was killed chasing the winning pitch, idiot. Why do you think he's sat out at almost every game in the past three years!?"
"I just thought he didn't want to play!"
As the two squabbled, Nassor

Victor shook his head to snap himself out of his shocked trance and dropped the baseball bat, his helmet flying off as well as he rushed to the bases surrounding the field. Halfway to third base he heard a familiar bark and skidded to a stop, looking over at where the ball had landed on the street. His eyes widened in pure horror when he saw Sparky chasing after the ball as it rolled to the curb. Immediately Victor bolted towards his dog in a panic as Sparky simply picked up the baseball and began to trot over to his owner, unaware of the speeding car coming towards him. Victor spotted the car and picked up the pace, ignoring his parents shouts as they chased after him in an attempt to stop him. Without thinking of the consequences, Victor dived onto the street and pushed Sparky out of the way, a loud screech sounding out from the wheels of the car as it attempted to stop, followed by a sickening thud. Victor tumbled forward limply and the driver got out, rushing ov
Frankenweenie - Switched - Chapter 1They had the funeral ASAP, and even though animals weren't usually allowed at funerals they allowed it this time. For Victor and Sparky's sakes. The funeral lasted awhile, and when it was finally over everyone left in grief, though Victor's parents stayed for awhile afterwards. Sparky stayed as well, staring at his owner's grave in sorrow. After awhile it began to rain, but even though Victor's parents left, Sparky stayed put. He looked around for a moment before trotting over to a small patch of flowers, returning with a few in his mouth. He placed them gently on the grave, whining sadly. The flowers seemed a little droopy and soggy, but it was the thought that counted, right? Sparky took a few small steps forward and curled up next to the grave, refusing to leave his owner. It didn't take long for a friend to notice. "Sparky…?" Said dog looked up at the black poodle that had spoken as she slowly came over to the grave, sadness in her eyes. "What're you doing here…?" Sparky wondered qFrankenweenie - Switched - Chapter 13 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

New Holland. It seemed like a nice town. Normal. Perfectly Normal. However, its residents were far from that. Take Victor Frankenstein for example:
While he might seem like your average, run-of-the-mill 13-year-old, he's actually quite the genius. Three years prior, he found a way to bring his dog Sparky back to life after an untimely passing.
Unfortunately, word got out of his "creation" and soon enough the townspeople were in a state of panic as monsters overran the Dutch Day festivities.
Eventually, with the help of a few classmates, Victor was able to stop the rampage entirely. Well, almost entirely.. It took the help of his dog to finish off the last creature, a Vampire Cat that had formerly been the pet of his classmate, Weird Girl.
After the "Incident", as it was later referred to, Victor made amends with Nassor, Toshiaki, and Bob, the students who used his blueprints to create their own monsters, eventually befriending the three of them.
That fall came and went, and

Weird Girl was in her bedroom in Toshiaki's ship, undressing and getting into her nightgown. She was just about to undo her corset when she heard a knock on the door.
Before she could react, the door flung open and Nassor came into the room.
She gasped and looked around for something to cover up her exposed part and saw her white bathrobe. She grabbed it and put it on quickly.
"Oh, its you Nassor," she said in relief.
Nassor saw her day clothes on the floor and blushed. "Forgive me for barging in like that, madam. I had no idea you were...."
Weird Girl blushed too and replied,"It's ok, Nassor. Now what did you come here for?"
Nassor shrugged, "You know, same as usual. Toshiaki keeps on coming into my bedroom, trying to get in bed with me. It's very, VERY annoying if you ask me. Anyways, I came here 'cuz its the only other bedroom on the ship." He brushed his hair back and shyly added,

Toshiaki looked up from his desk and asked, "What are you doing in here?"
"What do you think i'm doing?" Nassor shot back.
Toshiaki rolled his eyes and replied, "Oh right, you're gonna fix the window. Well carry on, Nassor."
Nassor went over to the window and began taking off the old shattered window. He wanted to hurry so he could see Weird Girl again.
Meanwhile, Weird Girl was just on her way to Toshiaki's office to inform him on the next upcoming New Holland gala. She was just opening the door to his office when she saw Nassor there. She cracked the door open a little and watched him work.
Toshiaki noticed Nassor's happy expression and that he was rushing through fixing the window. Toshiaki got up from his desk and went over to Nassor.
"Why are you so happy all of the sudden?"
Nassor told him, "So i'm happy. What's wrong with that?"
Toshiaki shrugged, "Oh, i'm just curious." A sly smile appeared on his face.

Toshiaki awoke to Nassor lightly shaking his shoulder.
"Nassor..What is it " He mumbled groggily.
"Excuse me. We're here to see Victor Frankenstein." Said a familiar voice.
"We're his parents." Toshiaki's eyes snapped open.
That was definitely Victor's dad.
"I'm afraid that your son's just gone into the OR. It says here that he was hit by a moving vehicle at 8:45 PM."
"Well is he gonna be okay?"
Toshiaki sat up fully when heard the third voice.
"Toshi? What are you guys doing here?"
"We came with Victor in the ambulance. What are you doing here?"
"She came with us." Explained Mrs. Frankenstein.
"When we got the call about Victor, we were next door at Mr. Bergermeister's house and Elsa insisted that she come to the hospital." Victor's father finished the sentence.
"Yeah. Uncle hung up the phone and had the decency to tell me, and I quote, 'Oh, Elsa, it seems that the boy next door you're so overly fond of was hit by a car.'"
"That was possibly the
Frankenweenie One-Shot - PossessionWeird stuff always seems to happen in New Holland. More often then not, it revolves around one person in particular. This person's name? Victor Frankenstein. Monster pets attack town? We all know about that one. Demons roaming the streets? He didn't cause it, but they all seemed to be after him. As were the killer sewer-monkeys. The list goes on, and no one knows why everything seems to be so interested in this one boy. Maybe there was something special about him, something different that no one else in the town seemed to have. No one knew for sure. But all this had taught Victor to always expect the unexpected. Sadly for him, the unexpected can't always be seen.Frankenweenie One-Shot - Possession3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
The day started off normally enough. He got up, fed Sparky, got some food for himself and made sure he had his supplies with him, then headed down the sidewalk to the school. Only abnormal thing to him was that Edgar bolted up to him as fast as he could, quite clearly in a panic. Victor jumped back in shock as Edgar skidded to

While Edgar slept like a rock, Nassor lay awake, frustrated as the clock in the Frankensteins' living room struck Two o'clock in the morning. He didn't know whether it was because of his concern or just getting used to sleeping on the floor.
He quickly put aside the thought and rolled over, closing his eyes in an attempt to get some sleep.
All of a sudden, a small, warm hand rested itself on his shoulder.
"I've woken you up haven't I?" He whispered.
"No..I've been awake for about ten minutes." Toshiaki whispered, shifting onto his back on the couch.
"Don't be. It wasn't your fault."
"..I know…but I feel like this is."
Nassor rolled on to his stomach and turned his head towards Toshiaki.
"This. Victor getting hit by the car. I knew he was afraid of going across the street, and I knew I should have crossed it with him, but I didn't. I had that nagging fear in the back of my head that he'd freeze, but I just stood there and didn't do an
