A school assignment from a few months back. We had to reproduce drawings from old masters utilizing cross-hatching techniques with different tools/mediums.

Reproduction of a Peter Paul Reubens' anatomical study of three arms.

Another collaboration with my eleven month old daughter. She scribbled all over the paper, and I stared at it until I found a picture. All of her original lines are there, I just drew the details around them and added some touches to make it look like what it is. A mother carrying an infant in a patchwork sling-carrier.

I love the challenge of finding a picture in her random scribbles. Or, if there is no picture to be found, simply developing it into a neat abstract.

The hair was just wild here...so much fun!
