This is a collection of plz-accounts related to the animated television series "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" that are larger than one icon, called mosaics or combos. Visit "Mane Cast 1/2" for all further explanations

The Silverspoon DelusionI have noticed a lot of people in the fandom are confused as to what talent the character "Silver Spoon" has, This short journal will clear things up a bit for those of you who don't understand ;]The Silverspoon Delusion2 months ago in Personal More Like This
Her name is metaphorical, there is a saying: "Born with a Silver spoon in your mouth" basically for someone who is born into wealth, So Technically, Silverspoon has no actual talent beyond just being born into money, hence where the name and cutiemark come from ;]
Hope this helps!

I watched the Brony Documentary....A few months back I did a journal on how much of a waste of money This "Cockumentary" was and that it's reasons like this why people dislike us and how it just makes us all seem like selfish circlejerkers, But you know what?, It was the most true and honest depiction of our fandom and highlights what The true fans of the show stand for, I found it rather intriguing and educating to be honest, So I have nothing negative to say about this Documentary, It's what I expected but also more, see it for yourselves (Though Faust didn't wan't it to go on youtube it obviously was, that's like telling a dog to not shit outside So here it is!, The Brony Documentary on youtube, for all to see ^^)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWRPNLrrzSc
(Of course all the text is a lie ;], I still think the Cockumentary is a huge waste of money for our o

Assassin's Creed: Over-saturationI'm really looking forward to this new Assassin's Creed game, Assassin's Creed: Over-saturation. It's going to be really good, being marginally different to the previous one and coming out roughly a year later.Assassin's Creed: Over-saturation4 months ago in Personal More Like This
In all seriousness, though, has anyone else realised how much Ubisoft are milking Assassin's Creed? They've just announced this little bugger:
And, despite the fact that new generations of consoles are coming out soon, Black Flag is reportedly going to be on the current generation of systems.
That will make the Assassin's Creed games on the PS3/360:
Assassin's Creed II
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Assassin's Creed: Revelations
Assassin's Creed III
Assassin's Creed IV/Black Flag
That's six games for a single franchise on one gaming system (excluding DLC content). Even other milked gaming franchises like Kingdom Hearts haven't managed to pull t

PeopleLife isn't easy. Everyone knows that. There are times where we are going to get hurt and unhappy and laughed at. I don't want this to be one of those sappy motivational thingys that people make fun of because we can't handle ourselves and we have problems and they have been through it too and blah blah blahPeople6 months ago in Personal More Like This
But you know what
Some of us need this motivation. Forget those people. I know that it's true that we as humans have to handle our problems. And maybe you are a very personal person. And maybe the problems you've been through can't be helped. And then those jerkfaces spit in your face and tell you to toughen up.
I know it isn't easy. For a fact. We know we have to toughen up. You aren't helping by calling us a worthless piece of garbage who can't deal with their own problems.
So all I'm saying is this. I know I am nothing but a young person typing on her iPad on the corner of her couch, trying to encourage you. But I am proud of you. I respect you. I know others do too. So calm down

Devious Journal EntryI've been reading a lot of Andrew Loomis books lately. From Eye Of The Painter: "An instructor once told me that a picture should suggest that the painting was stopped when the painter was having a good time."Devious Journal Entry7 months ago in Personal More Like This
I love this sentiment.
My new website, now *marginally* presentable!Lately, I've found the ambition to start a website. I would like to see how far a freelance career gets me so my own website will be a bit of a necessity. My new website, now *marginally* presentable!1 month ago in Personal More Like This
Very empty though. It's a heavy WIP but the design is polished enough to be presentable. Not sure about logo, but hopefully I'll replace it as I figure more stuff about graphic design.
Another thing I wish to do with my site though, is to post tutorials there instead of deviantART. DA tutorials are image-based and in general is more annoying to deal with than writing it in web format.
^At first, I'm gonna start with talking about what I believe is the best approach to pixel art. This starts off by mentioning that you need good art fundamentals to do well with pixels. Those fundamentals are stuff I think all artists should be working on and is definitely something I can spend good time with.

In one of my older journals I gave my two cents on the trailer for Equestria girls, I don't feel that guilty about it because I didn't drag it through shit, I may have had my say about some parts and disagreed with some aspects, but I left it at a hopeful note that we should trust the writers
Some right wing, overly obsessed Bronies and pegasisters who took a huge offence to it have slated the writers and DHX, and you know what that means?, A lot of the staff want to leave, and that put's a huge dent in the future of MLP FIM, we have to take into consideration and realise that the Staff try their damn hardest to appease the fans, both young and old, They don't need all these threats and abuse coming from us, What the fuck is wrong with this fandom?!
My little pony
Cutie Mark ConSo we walk up to pre-registration line, and I'm still mortified that people will see me in line for a pony convention. This is when I find out that in lieu of badges they're handing out bright glittery wristbands that have to stay on all weekend. My wife and I spend the rest of the weekend joking about my "Sparkly Cone Of Shame".Cutie Mark Con2 weeks ago in Personal More Like This
We decide to pick up a day pass for my wife so she can see what the fuss is about. I have to say that while I have a few BotCons under my belt, I was not prepared for the enthusiasm level. Just about everyone was in cosplay. (Notably someone in a Disney-mascot-level Vinyl Scratch with light-up horn and even horseshoes on the bottom of the feet. To the mortification of their parents, little kids were lining up in the lobby to say hello; it was that professional looking.)
We make a loop around the dealer room and it occurs to me that I should have made her watch more episodes (she saw the wedding eps over my shoulder once) so she c

Frivolity is srs bsns. You ever sit for an hour or two, flipping through screencaps, trying to map out the road and countryside that passes by Fluttershy's cottage, all to build coherent backgrounds for a comic that will take you weeks to draw only to culminate in a bad pun, and suddenly have it dawn on you that you have a very frivolous hobby?Frivolity is srs bsns.2 weeks ago in Personal More Like This
Perhaps the word "frivolous" was a bit harsh...
Commissions now OPEN!Commissions now OPEN!1 month ago in Personal More Like This
Reopening now, as I have all weekend to arrange quotes that way!
Please check out all the options!
Decided to motivate myself by re-opening commissions, whilst working towards a target. Commissions are limited to two images per person unless you ask beforehand, so no gift-packs will be on offer yet, and only one option is open for now, which is your standard image when it comes to ponies. Below are some examples - and it's not just equines! To those who would like to discuss a commission, just note me, ideally with references!
So, for something like the following images: (basic background or shadowed transparent to choose from only)
You pay $12!
I'm taking a few slots to begin with - the next few will be open when those are complete!
Tired of Ponies?
No worries! For $10-18*, I can offer as an alternative:

Holy crow but Van Gogh's self portrait
is *way* more vibrant in person than it ever looks in print. For a dude who was possibly protanopically colorblind, dude knew his color theory.
I am also developing artist dude-crushes on
John Singer Sargent
Jusepe de Ribera
Jean Baptiste Oudry
John Phillip Simpson.
I also am fascinated with the sculpture of Francois Rude and Charles Cordier.
I was going to spam you all with photos, but really, http://www.artic.edu has better ones already. (Except for the sculptures. Not nearly enough angles are taken to fully appreciate those, and my camera phone came out blurry.)
Saw American Gothic in person, and oddly enough found myself ignoring it in favor of a painting over in the corner of the room: "Hogs Killing a Snake" by John Steuart
