Say hi to Sapphire.
Sapphire is rare wandering drake. He doesn't speak of where or when he came from. He's just visiting. During the day, he's like a typical lazy dragon! He loves basking in sun and bright places... only to became little light bringer himself. Sapphire's true appearance reveals itself when lights go down. Then his horns and scales light up with beauty of thousands of starswith one, brightest spot on his forehead.
Sapphire is a one of a kind doll, piece of collectible art. He is around 85cm long, counting from his nose to tail tip! That's guite a lot. He was handsculpted, molded and cast in resin, handsewn and handpainted. His body is soft and floppy [no armature inside]. He has foam scales on bottom side of his body. His tail is a little bit curved, resembling long letter S.
His horns, paws and parts of head are covered in fluorescent blue paint. It's colorless in daylight. It needs to be exposed on light to shine in darkness. It's not LED or electronic light, so it's not very strong. You won't be able to read books during night with it ;D
He has 3, completely removable jewellery parts. On his left paw he has navy colored ribbon. On his right paw he has knotted, navy bracelet with couple of blue marbles. His neck is decorated with double blue strap. As I said, they all can be taken down without any problems according to your tastes and your wishes.
He was little side-project that was made in between commission making
It's amazing how much you can do while waiting for delivery or for things to get dry x3
His head, horns and paws are made of resin. This means they are much more durable than clay or sculpey. He's meant to be hugged, loved and enjoyed! Treat him with love and respect and he will keep you company for years. He's not a child toy and may won't stand hard childs-play. He's not meant or rated for children.
