I get out a knife, and I don't show fear.
I write down such, a long pretty letter....
Knowing my life, can not get better....
I know if I stay, the pain wont go away
I lose more hope, every single day.
I sit in my room, tears in my eyes
Remembering all, those horrid lies.
I see my depression, is going to win.
I start to cut open, my broken skin.
Blood oozed from, my fragile wrist.
Soon, so soon, I wont exist.
I cut open the other, blood rushes out.
Yet I don't yell, and I don't shout....
Now comes, the biggest test,
Building the courage, to stab through my chest.
I hesitate a bit, my heart screams silently,
Then I stabbed myself, so violently.
My blood gushed from my body, onto my bed.
I did it, I did it, i'm finally dead.
Will anyone notice, that i'm not here?
Will anyone even, cry just one tear?
I can only assume, they wont see....
That they will never again see me....

Into the void
So many ways
So many emotions
Turmoil never ending
From feelings of
A way out
From the jeers
Form the tears
From the cuts and bruises
A failed attempt
Perhaps a cry for help
Simply a failure
Added to the list
One more reason
For the tourniquet
The sweet kiss
The final dance
Of the faceless stranger
Will the hand flinch
Away from conclusion
A moment of indecision
Enough to save
Away from the end

The Peace Seeker
Whispers that no one hears
The world is deaf from despair
The sun becomes my throne
As I watch reality become undone
Someone can be another person's hero
If only love existed
Dusk will break with a darker tomorrow
Another day of being two-faced
Every second- a promise is broken
Every minute- a tear is taken
Every hour- a smile is forced
Every day- a child is born
I stitch my mouth shut / I finally had enough
Silence is my sin / Truth is my friend
Seal my eyes wide / Lies can finally hide
I will witness no evil / I will force another smile
Anyone can be someone's demon
Because greed insists it
Peace is not real to a planet of villains
Needs cannot be resisted
Every chance- wrongs replace rights
Every opportunity- delusions will ignite
Every wish- is for more of the same
Every hope- is for someone else to blame
Screams that will echo on
The voices of war will succumb
The moon becomes my beacon
As I await for the answers I'm seeking

You wake up the next morning in complete darkness. The lantern had gone out, and now blackness engulfed the shelter. You would've been scared, but Russia's arms were still around you, and his warmth comforted you. You shifted slightly, and you felt him let go of you, surprised that you were awake. "Ah, Good Morning~" He said in a sing song voice, and you could hear him standing up.
You smiled in the darkness. "Morning?" You said, tone surprised. You got up and stretched, wondering what time it is. "Da." Russia said in return, opening the door of the shelter. Light flooded the shelter, causing you to squint to adjust your sensetive eyes.
Russia takes your hand, and led you out, gently guiding you outside. On the way out, you notice that the house looks exactly the same. It hadn't been touched. Once you get outside, you look at the city of Moscow with wide eyes. It looked fine! There were only a few places where any damage was noticeable. But there had been so many expl

The moon-rock door swung open as the five Guardians came closer to it.
A giant aquamarine glowworm with a kind face greeted them, standing just beyond the doorway and inside the lunar house. He ushered them inside, welcoming each of them individually with a deep and gentle voice, calling them by their full names and their Guardian titles.
The door was smaller than your average door, forcing the five to enter one at a time. North barely managed to squeeze his large figure inside. Both he and Bunny had to practically fold themselves over in half to avoid hitting their heads, too.
“And lastly, but most definitely not leastly, welcome, Jack Frost, Guardian of Fun,” the glowworm said when it was the winter spirit’s turn. Jack ducked his head to avoid the low clearing (though not nearly as much as the long-eared rabbit and massive man had had to) and went through the doorway.
Is every animal larger on the moon? Jack wondered to himself as he walked past the glowworm,

You blinked in confusion. Was that... Yes! There it goes again; the sound of a small boy giggling happily! Wait, what would a small child be doing in here? The children of your country were some of your favorite people, always cheerful and curious, but none of them had ever found their way in here.
Carefully, you make your way over to the bright flowers where the giggling continued to flow from. Slowly, you move a sunflower to look at the boy, but as soon as you moved it there was a terrified squeal, and the boy ran to the door in a blur.
It was quite amusing to watch him try to open it! He was so short, and the door was too heavy for him to push open, but that didn't stop him from trying. He struggled, leaning all of his weight against it, but it wouldn't open. The whole time he never realized that he needed to pull. Even if he did, the handle was too high for him to reach.

She truly loved the instrument. The way the thin layer of diamond surrounding the pure white ivory captured the light. The slight engravings of leafy branches that found their way across its length. The way it sounded, the calm it provided to her as she played it. It seemed to be alive, to connect to the deepest, most intimate parts of her soul, as if a piece of her lived in it. Its songs were her soul’s songs, its notes those of her inner self.
But where it came from, she did not know.
One Winter night, much like the one she sat in now, she had awoken in the middle of a forest, sprawled out on its floor, her head half-buried into the thick layer of sno

The night was calm, the air cold and crisp. The stars shone brightly, piercing through the veil of black sky, fighting against one another to have their light to be seen the best. They flickered and twinkled as they laughed at and with one another, filling the universe with a celestial mirth.
They were laughing away their troubles.
For, that night, yet another star had been extinguished. Yet another golden planet. With them, another galaxy.
But all of this went unknown to the inhabitants of this little green and blue planet, a safe haven that was, at the time, not found on any maps of the cosmos. Our planet, whose atmosphere the remaining childlike stars were trying to project their light into.
A peaceful planet where no evil was known.
But that would change on this fateful night.
Winter held the Earth close this night long ago, smothering it in its thick, caring embrace. It permeated everything, wanting to follow the critters and people into their homes as a guest, a family mem

And every...thing...is weird

I...! Never thought that you would leave
(And now) I...! Don't know what to believe
(You know that) I...! Feel so deceived

The leaves so brilliant,
But there's...no easy way out,
And I feel so stupid
I never...should...have listened,
Because I knew that you were wrong
So now...my tears...they glisten,
And drop to join the throng,
Unless we choose for it to be

For ten consecutive times in a row, Alfred F. Jones, the personification of America himself, missed out on a social gathering.
Well okay, admittedly, social gathering probably sounds a bit too formal. The other countries weren't having meetings (which he was also frequenting less often); they were just having fun. Going swimming, getting drunk, partying...I thought he'd at least come to the parties. If anyone likes parties, I assured myself, it's America
But I was wrong.
Two things kept me from exploring this any further until now, however.
1. Guilt, as I'd only noticed his absence about the 5th time around.
2. I still saw him at the meetings, even if it wasn't as often, which let me know that he was at least okay.
But even during the meetings, it was like he was a different person. He didn't take charge of the meetings like he used to, spewing his hilariously ridiculous ideas about whatever.
Something was wrong, very wrong.

One of the things I have gained, is an appreciation for smaller things
It taught me how fleeting life is, so I embrace what the future brings

I do not truly wish for things to be over, first the world I must explore
I think it has made me a better man, the pain with which I have grown
It has made me able to appreciate nature, like now sat here on stone
Do not mistake my meaning; the pain in my heart is not diminished

The last time Jack had felt so awestruck and so caught off-guard by something was when he had first seen North’s sleigh, which had sprouted jet-like wings and was far more modern than he had expected it to be.
They had come whilst the five Guardians were arguing amongst themselves, trying to determine the reason why the Man in the Moon had gathered them all at the North Pole (apparently North had had a feeling in his belly) and, more importantly, why he hadn’t established communications with them. The five had been so engrossed in their argument that they hadn’t noticed the newcomers until their large figures had blotted out what little moonlight shone into the grand reception room, their massive, flapping wings creating a powerful artificial wind that had knocked a good number of elves over. Needless to say, their arrival silenced the Guardians, making them turn their attention to the three insects that stood before them. They were moths.
But they weren&
