Before and after comparison

After playing around with few ideas, i decided to use house stock photo.

Also few, mainly grungy textures used from cgtextures.com. Everything else is either photographed by me or handpainted over.

Tools used: Photoshop cs6, wacom intuos4 a5-wide

Entry for the Ponyo Splash banner contest! I was so happy to find that there was going to a contest for an anime movie about fish. I really enjoyed drawing this piece because of that fact.

2 years improvement for my speed paint style is turn out great for me. But not the best.

Better description pending--maybe. It's 5:22 in the morning and I'm still too caffeine-jittery to compose a worthwhile thought. Wish I'd given myself more time to finish this before the contest deadline.

So when I heard about this contest, I thought it'd be a fun little one to enter.

I have a huge love for Great White Sharks, always have since I was a kid so I knew I'd have to do something with them. I also wanted to include a dog into it, since I'm a big dog-lover as well (Sorry Gizmo!).

So I did a little combo of a Bull-Dog and a Great-White....and there we have it, a Bull-Shark.

But I wanted to add a bit of a story to it as well, and if you're one who got the LMS book, look out for the easter egg.

THE WARNING LABEL READS:
