How To Make A Sugar Skull
Materials: 2 cups of powdered sugar
1 egg white
1 tablespoon of light corn syrup
1/2 of a teaspoon of vanilla
1/3 of a cup of corn starch
food coloring of any color you want
1 fine paintbrush and colorful paper
1: Sift the powdered sugar.
2: Mix the egg white, syrup, and vanilla in a dry and clean bowl.
3: Mix the sugar into the mixture gradually.
4: Mix it with your fingers until you form a ball.
5: Sprinkle some cornstarch on a table or board.
6: Put the mixture on the table and shape into a smooth and manageable ball.
7: Wrap it tightly in plastic and let it cool until it's ready to use. (The mixture will keep for months.)
8: Use a lot of cornstarch when you make skulls or other shapes.
9: When the figures are dry, color and decorate then however you like... and now, you're pretty much done. ^_^
