Who Hears Rain Cry?Who Hears Rain Cry?2 years ago in Urban & Spoken Word More Like This
Dark times fall upon us.
Like the snow at Christmas time.
Like rain in a rainstorm,
Washing away our souls...
Who hears rain cry?
The wails of despair?
Who ever hears the distress call?
That plays for all to hear.
Somewhere someone's drowning.
Unable to swim away.
Drowning in the flood.
Losing will to live.
One day she'll be found.
Lost in heaven above.
Shell cold as stone.
But she'll be fine.
Her wail gone from the rain.

I rang you up,
Not so long ago,
Got your number from your sister,
She said ring any time.
I've been waiting six years,
Day by day,
Wondering where you are,
What you look like.
I love you,
It takes the world on my shoulders,
I got used to living without you.
I always said when we were younger,
That we would one day be man and wife.
I guess I was in love,
With your memory.
Maybe we'll be together,
But I don't see it soon,
You don't remember me,
And you aren't who I remember.
I don't see things going back,
To how they once where.
Long days running in field,
Laughing in a childish way.
I love you,
I know I do.
But I love

After a long period of peace it seemed war had been brewing. Some ten years ago the largest family of the lands fell into oblivion when the heads of the family and top generals suddenly fell ill and died within a short period of time. Without their leaders and supporting fighters the herd was doomed. It didn't take long for other families and rogue groups to steal and kill most of the once vast amount of horses which were part of the Nuran. Those who did not die or join other families disappeared from the lands and weren't heard of ever since. And without any sign of the perpetrators the lands fell into complete chaos..

Take to heart, and keep in mind,
Flashbacks, and the constant gaze,
As it was then I did not know,
The truth of the beat
of my once cold heart.
The thirst I beheld,
to behold the holding
of my attention,
of an enraptured obsession.
Pure, so true, by definition,
Defying the rules laid down by conformity,
spitting back into its face
the requisites of ungratefulness
hindered by the lack of sight.
Yet I saw the blessings
Wrapped with bows
In a marathon to my eyes,
Unscathed by bumps in the road,
Unharmed by my jagged edges...
Take to heart, and keep in mind,
the constant gaze and visual marathon,
Set me free, this

Libertad was the only foal born unto a happy, but average family. His father was the typical young stallion, ambitiously striking out from his herd in order to start a family of his own; while his mother, on the contrary, was in a word, a goddess. The divine mare was a glossy chestnut with stark white eyes. Majestic white wings struck up from her shoulders and rested upon her back. When she galloped upon sloping hills or wide, spacious plains, Libertad witnessed how she unfolded her wings and took flight, soaring up into the sky like an eagle. She could just as easily conceal her set of wings as well, though. As her son, Libertad was born wit

E'vesdar was born to find his parents killed before he ever got the chance to know them. The only thing he remembers about that day are the deep, emerald green eyes of his mother gazing stonily at him with the cold, lifeless stare that only the dead possess, scaring him to death at the time. The sight sent a chill down his spine, and he ran in response. He galloped as mightily and as far as his pounding, small hooves would take him. Finally, cold and tired, he broke down in the middle of a field and lost conscious. He never saw his parents again. The next morning he woke up with the strength of a stallion, a stallion who had witnessed things

Reviling my insanity

I must be quick, must be brief.
Not wanting to be alone
Bloody and broken I have been...thrown.
Forget what I said, please come find me
Before I turn to insanity.
I do not wish to die
Please be true and do not lie.
I have lost the will to love,
Do you know who I'm thinking of?
I can not pretend no more.

No longer as the used to be,
Nothing left but agony.
Sorry from just isn't enough.

'Grimoire' - Chapter 4 Descending down into the darkness of a forgotten area, Ashley is so overcome by curiosity she keeps going, blind of what lies below. Her heart pounds harder and harder with each rung she steps upon. Her eyes never leaving the spot of light which is shown into the unknown by the flashlight. Nearing the bottom of the ladder, her foot slips from a rung and she almost falls from the ladder. She quickly grabs the ladder and tries to place her dangling foot back on the ladder. During the scramble for balance, she drops the flashlight. Her eyes, standing wide open, watch the flashlight smash into the ground with a flash before sending the pieces scattering in all directions. Even as the pieces lie silently upon the ground, she continues to watch the exact spot where the flashlight hit. Her sight finally adjusting to the darkness, she notices a faint light around the corner on the far side of the passage. Taking advantage of the light she actually has, Ashley looks down and judges t'Grimoire' - Chapter 46 months ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

"Sweetie, there are many things you don't know about me and others who lived before your time... And truthfully I hope you never do find out.", Jiminy whispered to his daughter, later that night.
Geppetto and his son meanwhile sat on the edge of the woodcarver's bed.
Jiminy, after this afternoon, was once again reminded just how much there was for him to learn. Though at the same time it also caused him to think about his own relationship with Jenny. He finally let out a sigh, thinking over the things that had recently been brought to light.

Ash, Blood, and TearsI was the only survivor the day the figure set the camp ablaze.Ash, Blood, and Tears7 months ago in Free Verse More Like This
Of twenty-seven people, only I survived.
After the fire, I desperately called my best friend's name, hoping he had survived.
But I was too late. I saw him, lying on the forest floor, ash in his hair, his bloodied face, his missing arm. His sea green eyes stared up lifelessly at the night sky, the stars he couldn't see.
And, in his cold, limp hand, was a note to me.
'I love you'. That's what it said.
Then I cried. I cried so hard I ran out of tears.
Now, all I have left of him, is his bow.
And a necklace he gave me as a kid.
It's not enough.
It will never be enough.

I begin every morning with a cold glass of coke, because I still do not fall for the habit of drinking coffee. After a cigarette or two and a long warm shower, I prepare myself for a day at the office. So I leave the house and follow a small path to the driveway, while my children are standing aside the road, waiting for the school bus to arrive. Of course I cannot withstand to glance at my white picket fence, which matches the same stereotype as my red brick house covered in green ivy. I practicly leap into my baby blue Pickup Truck and head on to work.
Many people, so it seems, hate their job. Yet I lov
