buy: Spike is a unique recycled watch parts creature inspired partly by chameleons, frogs, and canines.

He was created with a variety of watch parts including watch strap springs, winding stems, watch balance cocks, and other bits and bobs.

Spike is soldered together using silver bearing, lead free solder. No glue was used in the creation of this piece.

Dimensions: 22mm wide, 40mm front to back, 33mm tall. He comes with a 3" by 4" glass dome with walnut base for display. He is extremely fragile and should be handled sparingly and very gently, and is most definitely not a toy.

Time Capsule was created with nineteen different recycled watch stems. Each stem was snipped into the correct size for a "bone" in each finger, and each bone was soldered together with lead free silver bearing solder to produce a finger. When all fingers were created, they were soldered together onto a watch plate. After the hand was formed and shaped into a clawlike grasp, it was imprisoned in an antique watch case. The case itself has been hollowed and ground so that only one strap end still exists, and from this, the necklace chain is strung. This is a very special and one of a kind piece, never to be reproduced exactly.

Time Capsule is 18mm wide and 29mm tall. It comes on an 18" antiqued silver plated chain with links measuring 1.7mm. Longer or shorter chains can be made to order, so let us know in the checkout section if you require something different.

This turned out sooo beautifully, this was a hodgepodge project. It was make a victorian ball gown on a budget so I took liberties with the petticoat design. I did what we used to do in high school for theatre you go to the thrift store and you buy things in the colour and material you want in extra what too big and you gut!

Another shot of my Captain Mary Spencer cosplay, from the shoot I had over at the Naval Academy! This photo was taken in Mahan Hall, and is probably the first non-awkward back shot I've ever had of any of my cosplays. I really wish the sword had been centered and my right boot pulled all the way up, but other than that I'm pretty happy with it! A good view of the back of my new wig, plus it also shows off the ropes on the back- I had chain before, but I'd been wanting to change it to rope like it is in the book.

What is it about a rough brick wall and a minuteman that reminds me of New England in the fall?

Silvered copper wire, satin-ey ribbon, bicentennial US quarter, piece measures about two inches long.

I have more of these quarters for future coin commissions. (I wonder how an Assassin's Creed-themed one would turn out?) I'm also happy to wrap any coin you send me.

(Disclaimer: This photo was taken in Michigan, not New England :P)

I've resisted making a Pirates Who Don't Do Anything joke until know, but this title is hilariously similar to "Boston in the Fall".
