Author's Note: I was bored and had a bunch of random ideas going through my head. I also haven't written a Soul/Maka centralized fic in FOREVER. So here we go.
Maka is concerned with the way Soul spends his free time and who he spends it with. Confronting the situation can only go so well. *ONE SHOT*

The bond between men was a fascinating one, but it could also be frustrating. They could hate each other one moment and go about their day as if they didn't just attempt the beat the living shit out of each other the next. In fact, depending on how close the male friendship was, the more concerned the female counterparts should probably be.
A bromance. That's what it was called right? It was disturbing really. A completely heterosexual love between two grown men that could make any self respecting woman jealous. Well if there was any one on Earth that despise

Maka runs past Spirit, her womanizing father. Soul was leaning against a wall, anticipating Maka. She grabs his arm and swings him. Soul wasn't expecting Maka to hurl him like she was doing, but he recognizes the way she swings him and transforms into his Death Scythe form.
Maka stops. Then she takes off at full speed back to the balcony Spirit was still at, half-hanging over the edge and screaming, "Papa loves Mama and Maka the most! PAPA LOVES MAMA AND MAKA THE MOST!!!"
Maka steps onto the edge and jumps off of Shibusen's balcony. Spirit freaks out and attempts to cry out for Maka in vain.
Soul sees that Maka wants to fly away, so he manipulates himself into a smaller scythe and Maka spreads her wings.
Soul looks up at his Meister, about to calmly ask her what's the matter, but remains quiet because she is crying.
They land at their apartment and Maka sets Soul against the wall. "Stay here; I'll return shortly,"

The voices died down in Maka Albarn and Soul Eater's home.
"Okay, everyone. The name is Poker. Any of you think you're cool enough to beat me and Maka?" Soul asked arrogantly.
"Oh ho ho ho! Wo you think yer bigger than the big Black*Star, eh?!" Black*Star exclaimed. "Tryin' to steal the spotlight from me?! Fat chance!"
"Makaaaaaaaaaaaaa Chop!" Maka smashed the spine of a book on the top of Black*Star's thick skull. "We're all right here you moron. You don't need to freaking shout. You'll disturb the neighbors...again."
Black*Star's weapon, Tsubaki, sighed. How she puts up with an idiot like him was beyond everyone.
Soul dealt the cards clockwise to everyone; Liz, Patti, Kid, Black*Star, Tsubaki, Blair, Maka, and then to himself, then the game began.
The first one out was Kid, because he couldn't stand not having even numbered cards in his hand. "This is NOT SYMMETRY!" he kept shouting. Then Blair poofed into her human form

Valentines Day had little to no impact to young scythe meister, Maka Albarn. Love was nothing but an invalid, complex, and unsuccessful experience in her view. Her parents were living proof of that tragedy. Since then, Valentines Day had been passed as any ordinary day, but that didn't mean it would limit her to seeing it as a holiday for significant others.
Liz and Patty were the ones who had come up with this idea since they wanted some girl time bonding before the holiday. The Thompson sisters had insisted to cook at Kid's place for their kitchen had often been left neglected despite its clean, beautiful appearance. Tsubaki gave in to the idea whole heartedly and Maka smiled with approval. Now here they were, in Kid's kitchen, conversing about Maka's willingness to celebrate the least holiday she would ever consider.
"It surprises me that you actually looked forward to this, Maka," a tall, skinny female with shoulder lengthen dirty blonde hair stated.

"Maka please talk to me." Soul continued to beg.
"No! This is your fault!" Maka tried to hide the tears falling down her cheeks from Soul.
"My fault?... Ugh. Maka, just please stop fighting with me."
Maka wiped the tears from her eyes and looked to her friend, he seemed just as tired, if not more tired then she was.
"Just please come here, it's getting dark." He motioned to the 'shelter' he made for them.
Lord Death had sent the two on a mission after a man who's soul had turned into a kishin egg, but unfortunately, neither of them clued in to where they were, so they were lost, and they lost their target. Maka blamed it on Soul since she was the one running, which lead them to a fight. While she was off crying, Soul tried to make a shelter for them to use since it was almost dark, but Maka was being stubborn and wouldn't get in it.

Chapter One: Phone friend
''Seriously, when are you going to meet the guy?'' Said Black*Star frustratedly. Black*Star was my only friend, my best friend. We couldn't make other friends because in my school everybody was either cool or a losers. In some way me and Black*Star was the only ones in the school with the category: Loser, lame, geek, all the negative word was addressed to us.
''Come on! You guys have been texting with each other forever and he wants to meet you so why haven't you made a move on him!''
Black*Star snapped me out of my thoughts and back to reality.
I have been texting with a guy named 'Evans101.' We met on a chat room and then we exchanged phone numbers. Then we talked about ourselves and that kind of stuff. And a few days ago we discovered that we both goes at the same school! Evans101 wanted to met me at once but I didn't know what to do! And when I told Black*Star about it, it just got worse. He was all jumpy all about it. And the worst thing a

”You have got to be kidding me!” Maka couldn’t help but exclaim in outrage. Stein threw her an annoyed glance before addressing the class once more.
“It was Lord Death’s idea in order to put the people of Death City at ease. Rumours have surfaced that have thrown our image into exaggerated proportions, making people believe that we are the ‘monsters’ which have killed the innocent.” Stein withheld a scoff at his own words. “So, in light of that, the whole school will be holding a festival on the fourteenth.”
“But that’s Valentine’s Day,” someone commented.
“That’s the theme...” Stein sighed. He’d much rather be at home, in his lab, preferably dissecting something, but instead he had to babysit the class and even acknowledge this ridiculous ordinary human ritual.
“Fine, so what are we meant to be doing in this festival?” Liz drawled, more interested in her chipped nail

After all they have been fighting side by side for a better half of a decade, they knew each other from the outside and recently the inside, but that's a different story!

"I'm an idiot." Maka sighed, curling up tighter and tighter into a ball with every passing minute.
"Oh, Maka," Tsubaki chuckled lightly, trying to lighten the atmosphere, "You're not an idiot! You're just just, uh "
"Yes I am." Maka insisted, looking up at Tsubaki from her curled ball position of safety, "Idiot: Noun. Informal. An utterly foolish or senseless person." She huddled back up after stating the evidence of her "utter foolishness" and "senselessness".
Tsubaki exhaled as she gathered the plates from the table, "Well, somebody swallowed a dictionary." Tsubaki went to join Maka in the corner of the room after gathering the plates, straightening out the creases in her skirt as she stooped down to sit beside the depressed teenager on the floor, "Listen, we all make mistakes; it's just a part of human behaviour. His head was killing him and he felt dizzy and tired. He had no idea where Maka was, but vaguely recalled her telling him she was going shopping with Tsubaki.
He shook his head. He would never understand girls and shopping. Soul was the only one who saw her real clothes. He didn't understand why she bought so much of something no one ever saw.
Groaning, he rolled out of bed and clutched a chair while he waited for the world to stop spinning. It didn't. He stumbled through the hallway and into the kitchen and poured a glass of water. Remembering Maka's advice from last time he was sick, he sipped the water a little at a time. His throat still felt dry.

I had to push myself. There was no way I would stop. I had to make Soul become a Death Scythe. This was just another enemy.
I was in the heat of battle with Soul against another monster with a Kishin egg as their soul. It was a low level and shouldn't have been a problem, but it was the 5th monster I had fought that day and they had all been formidable foes. They just kept appearing around us.
After many combos I rested for a few seconds to catch my breath. Soul could tell I was tired.
"Maka you gonna make it?" he asked caringly in his cool voice from his scythe form.

Eyes to the floor, eyes to the floor, the blonde girl muttered in her head as she quickened her pace past the main hall to her assigned quarters. How could she have slept in, today of all days? She couldn’t believe that Tusbaki had just let her sleep in like that. She quietly pushed open the large heavy wooden doors that lead into the right wing of the house. She hurried to the servant’s room to collect her equipment before rushing into the first room of the day. She placed her stuff on the small table, grabbing a table cloth; she began to dust the surfaces of the tables and windows.
Her body, having been rudely awakened only moments ago by sheer panic, settled into the familiar routine as if like clockwork. Unfortunately, because her work needed hardly any thought, that left way too much space for her mind to wonder. She mostly thought about how, if her father wasn’t such a cheating, gambling pig she wouldn’t have to be working yet but instead st

It was a day most women were 'obsessed' with.
They spent weeks before the special day just 'talking' about it! Always asking each other if they knew who they're Valentine was going to be and if they were getting anything for anyone. It was a day where couples got closer, did romantic things, bought each other flowers and chocolate and little teddy bears Soul didn't like to participate in it and neither did his meister. They had the same thought about it.

I pulled my hand away from the burning stove quickly and shook it to ease the pain. "I knew I should have ordered takeout " I then muttered; sticking it under the faucet to cool it off. Maka picked up a delicate looking glass ornament. It was a perfect sphere; on the top was a red piece of thread tied to a golden hoop.
She touched the cold glass with her finger tips, remembering the day she got it. Her Papa had come home from a mission with her Mom. Every time they went on a mission, they always brought something for Maka back with them. That time, they brought her an ornament from the desert with the great Pyramid of Anubis painted perfectly on the front of it.

Next to Maka (who had skipped a grade), Soul was the youngest, his birthday landing on July nineteenth – right before the cutoff date. There were many things that Maka disliked in the world but if asked what were the things she hated the most it got narrowed down to two: failing at anything academic and war. The first one was quite obvious since she prided herself on always getting the best grades; the second one was more complicated, but the reason why she hated it the most was because it broke people apart. Being a meister, war was constant thing in her life as meisters and weapons fought against pre-kishin and witches. And for the past five years war had separated her and the man she loved, Soul.
It was five years ago, after Soul was made a Death Scythe and they had defeated the Kishin Asura. Five years ago when they had admitted their feelings for each other and their relationship had taken a romantic turn. It seemed like nothing could separate them back then and they had the rest of their lives to live together.
