It was amazing how a lie printed in one the government sanctioned papers could turn it in to truth. Of course, he had seen it all before. This was how it would start. The government would reassure the world that all was well, while publicly denying all things mutant.

Life As A Dragoness Ch 1 My name is Sarah. You can call me Sassy. My life as an 18 year old is pretty normal- well normal for someone with autism. Once in a while I would like some adventure in my life. But then my life with autism seems pretty adventurous. Then one Saturday afternoon I found myself in an adventure much bigger than my life with autism.Life As A Dragoness Ch 13 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
It was a Saturday afternoon. When I was done watching television I went to work on some homework. Luckily, my friend Lyndsey called and asked to go on a bike ride. My parents said it was okay. I grabbed my backpack and went to get my bike. I sped off to meet her at the park.
“Hey Sarah, wanna go check out that abandoned school on the other side of the park?”
“I am not sure about that…” I replied.
“Oh come on!” said Lyndsey.
“Well…okay…”I said nervously.
The College Drag, Part 4Wednesday morning was just another cookie cutter morning for me. Math and English were the usual. Getting saddled with a lot of assignments and get them done in a very short time span. Mr. Sexton was nice enough to let us off with only forty problems instead of the usual eighty. I would have to power through them at work, or at least try to. Miss Kowski told us to come up with a poem. I made one up on the spot. For the life of me, I cant remember what it was. She liked it a lot and took it as my assignment, so that was done before I even left the room. Less work for me equals more fun times. I had three hours to kill between class and work. I found myself just walking around the campus. I did go to get some food at Sonic down the road, but that only took up about forty-five minutes to an hour. I was so bored; I started to just fling rocks into the woods next to the Science Building. They wouldnt let people skip stone on the ponds, they said it was bad for them. Human to Dragon Ch. 10How am I going to tell my parents and sisters that I'm a dragon now and that 3 feral dragons destroyed my room? All my thoughts were foucused on that. I look out the winow and see my parents and sisters getting out of the car and I just curse to myself. Never really liked to do it or curse at all.
"Cody, we're home.", I hear my dad say.
"Okay.", I say back with my voice shaking a bit.
"Are you okay? Your voice seems a bit shaky and deeper."
"I'm okay. Really I am."
"I'm coming up anyway."
"Me too.", my mom says and they both start coming up the steps.
Okay. This was bad. They're coming up the steps. I needed to think fast, which I'm not good at, at all. they just keep coming towrds my room. One foot by the next. Soon they were at my bedroom door.
"Cody. Why is there a whole here in your room and a blanket over it?", my dad asks.

The Dragon Chronicles PrologueEver wondered where dragons come from, if theyre from this world, or even this universe. Some think that theyre creatures from another planet; others think that theyre really from earth, just creatures that were created by God or evolved from some type of other animal. Still others think that theyre from another universe or realm closely resembling our own in every which way. They say that all of the mythological creatures come from there, from dragons to gryphons to unicorns, but say that the dragons rule this world and had the power to cross over to our world. Some say its just dragons and gryphons that live in this realm and the other mythological creatures live in yet another realm all together. Some say that the dragons and gryphons come in different sizes and colors as well as range from quadruped, anthropomorphic, to taurs. Some have said that there are also different species of gryphon as well, but cant be proven. They would say that the dragThe Dragon Chronicles Prologue5 years ago in Fantasy More Like This
Feral Time, Part 1That first half of the semester was fun. That first day was something, I walking into work and Debbi thought I was a different dragon and tried to shoo me out from behind the desk. I was able to explain to her that I was me and after a little evidence proving my claims, personal info and all that goes a long way. She asked me if she could expect any more alterations to my body.Feral Time, Part 15 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"I hope not. I'm tired of it myself," I told her, finally relaxing after a long and tense interrogation session.
Once I was proven to be me, she showed me off to the other employees to make sure they all knew of my new looks so there wouldn't be any confusion. It didn't help that I had to go shoeless for that first week. I got into the habit and tucking my feet under my chair to keep people from both staring at my talons or tripping over my feet.
That weekend I broke out my leather working supplies and rebuilt my boots from all the left over leather I had. I had quite a bit of it from my first pair and this time

First day as a dragon and I had to move some of my stuff o the guest room. My human teeth fell out yesterday and razor sharps ones took their place. My tongue fully changed last night.
My computer was the last thing I got out of my room and into the guest room. I can't believe I would have to sleep in this room until my room is fixed. I may have been smaller than my actual room, but it was still a room and it was temperary.
I was just glad I had off school. But my parents said I'm going to school tomorrow. I just know it won't go good for me. And for me now being the only dragon living in the city, besides the ferals, made me feel worse about it.
I tried to ignore it as much as I could.
After I set up my computer, I get on my yahoo and check my messages. I was going through them when a weird message just popped up right there.
"Weird. Messages don't usually pop up suddenly while one the main message page.", I say to myself.

The Dragon Crew: Prologuethe sun was just starting to set when a lone figure was limping into a cave that was near a beach, a small trail of blood following behind him. The lone figure was a quadruped dragon with gashes all over his body. it had two light blue horns coming out of his head with a fin like ear in front of each horn. The scales on its underbelly were a light blue that looked like blue ice and the rest of his body was covered by scales that were whiter than the freshest snow from a snow fall and semmed to glimmer form the fading light of the sunset. The dragon's claws were also the same color as his horns and were also covered in blood. The dragon was about 30 feet in length from snout to tail with a wing span of 20 feet. The membrane on its wings was a deeper blue and seemed to catch the sunlight in them. There were a few gashes in his wings so he wasn't able to fly that far or for that long. The dragon's tail alone was about 10 feet in length with dark blue fur just covering the end of the tail. The Dragon Crew: Prologue6 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
How to make Muffin-Tin PiesHow to make Muffin-Tin Pies2 years ago in Reviews & Guides More Like This
This is a really fun recipe I use for the Holidays and parties! ^-^
The steps listed below will make approximately one/one-and-a-half batches of twelve mini mixed-berry pies. Just use a regular muffin tin, and you can use paper muffin cups if you like, but if you don't I recommend spraying the ENTIRE muffin tin (not just the cups) before putting in the dough to help them come out easier.
The Oven will need to be pre-heated to 350 degrees before the pies can go in the oven.
2 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons of salt
1/2 cup shortening (I generally use Crisco)
3/4 cup butter (chilled)
6 Tablespoons of ice water
Making the dough:
1.) Cut up butter into medium-sized cubes and return it to the refrigerator for later use.
2.) Cut up the shortening and drop in chunks into a bowl of ice water.
3.) In a separate bowl (large), combine flour, sugar and salt and then mix well.
3.) After they are chilled, remove the shortening from ice water, the but

Will be a good friend
you could've at least tried to be
You didn't actually try
Well I don't know why
You just insulted me
every single day
and then you were suprised
when I didn't speak to you
My other friends said
You were bad for me
and I should stop
and I didn't want to believe them
so I ignored them
but after a while

Amazed, I would gasp at cars passing by,
shake the withered hands of scruffy vagrants,
and hurry to reach the pot of gold
at the end of the rainbow.
I would take the world for what it is;
convinced that there is a purpose
to each, and everyone, and everything,
and that the warming smile of the morning sun
is all I will ever need in life
to be happy.
I would dance around the muddy freckles
soft rain paints on the dusty ground,
believing that it is the face of earth
that reaches puberty.
I would love without limits;
oblivious to the painful sting of unrequited love,
my heart will be a hearth for friends
and strangers alike.
I would read stories
in brick-patterns and zigzag pavements,
or dream of fabulous creatures
which I once heard of in a lullaby.
I want to wonder, wonder -
I want to wonder again!
And if not until the end of time,
then at least until I breathe my last;

With every word you speak.
Some tender and caring.
Others the cruel truth.
But never with intentions of pain.
Always soft like the starlight.
How the sun sets.
With every moment we share.
Some romantic and loving.
Others just lost in time.
But never with the intention to forget.
Always made to be remembered.
But our love stays.
For it has been made immortal.
By sheer dedication and passion.

Ripped itself apart;
But I-oh, I only cried,
From a battered, broken heart.

Please fly away.
My arms are no place for you.
Please fly my angel.
I promised to keep you from crying.
But this very moment is breaking it.
I am not good enough to you.
I've been selfish.
Selfish and misunderstood.
But I don't want you to suffer.
I need you to go now.
You need to let those wings carry you away.
Somewhere where I am not.
Because I am your shame.
I was too weak to help you.
The only thing I can say is sorry.
But it won't close your wounds.
Or return the color to your eyes.
You have to go.
You've got to leave me behind.
I dragged you right down with me.
Showed you the depths of my ocean of sorrow.
And now you cry your crystal tears.
Tears that take your life with every wasted one.
So please leave me.
I am no longer good to you.
And I'm not sure if I ever was.

I'm the tiny little fly on the wall,
Watching and waiting to see you fall,
I am all but discarded and lost,
But I'm holding on for all cost.

Times when I did not have you.
Times when our fingers couldn't intertwine.

Moments I felt the chill of winter in my bones.
Without a fire to melt the creeping ice.
But now you're here.
Sleeping safely beside me.
And I know I found home.
Home in the heart and soul of a person.
Something I never would've guessed.

So that I could fly.
I waved my arms from the edge of the highest hill,
But didn't ascend to the sky.
So carefully I plucked another breathlessly,
And with one in each hand tightly bound
I strove in vain but the results were the same:
My feet stayed on the ground.
So I plucked the rest in deepening exasperation
(Leaving that poor angel completely bare),
And flailed my arms madly in silent desperation;
Feathers scattered everywhere.
I sat down and cried looking to the sky,
Wondering why I couldn't fly on the wings of a feather,
Then the angel awoke and behind me he spoke
"They weren't bound together."
