I'm nothing but a rag doll to you.
With no feelings or emotions.
I'm only stiff and lifeless.
Bleed me dry until I have nothing to my name.
Penniless on the streets.
Starving for mercy.
Nothing left to give.
Still, you ask more of me.
Ask for every ounce of my moral integrity.
Until there is nothing left of me.
You can see the heart on my sleeve.
It's drying up into nothing.
Turning to ash.
But you'll keep on.
You know how I am.
How I react.
I'm nothing but a floor mat beneath your feet.
You really don't see me, do you?
Under the Light of the Moon.A gentle breeze slowly blew across the grass plains just beyond the sandy beaches of the land, a very slight sea breeze being carried aloft as the breeze travelled from across the distant lands, over the seas, and then climbed up the cliffs. In the near cloudless sky, only a small wisp of the collected moisture lingering across the sky, not enough of the fluffy stuff to block out the beautiful light of the moon which was casting down its gentle, lunar light over the land. This all added to create one, stunningly beautiful setting as the moon light shone onto the lightly swaying grass, the grass reflecting, while at the same time absorbing this light to appear to create its own light, reflecting of a pale white as the white capped waves of the sea shone brighter, the moon light being cast onto the great expanse of water, the white of wave caps standing out against the black expanse of the night time water.Under the Light of the Moon.2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

Climber groaned. What had happened? That much, he couldn't remember. He got up slowly. Something felt.....odd though. He felt...heavier for some reason. Much heavier. Maybe someone had opened him up while he was out cold and stuffed him with rocks? That was a possibility, but who would want to do that?
Another thing was odd. He was on the roof of one of the old park buildings. It had rained last night, and he remembered hiding as soon as it started to avoid getting wet. He never did enjoy it when his face got melted off by the water. So, why was he on a roof? That's usually where rain hits first, right? None of this was making sense.
The final notice, was something that terrified him completely: his pick-ax was gone. He was immediately panicked. Without his pick-ax he was defenseless. Useless against anyone who would threaten him. Karl. If he had lungs, his breathing would have quickened. Now he was sure something was wrong. What was he doing out in the open when Karl was no doubt on t
Kissing Your Ghost I sat in my room with my head buried in my text book, and looked around the darkly colored room. My charcoaled colored eyes stopped at a rose given to me by someone. Someone named Alejandro.Kissing Your Ghost4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
I stood up off my bed and looked at the blood red rose. Every little detail of it reminded me of him. The color, the smell, even the thorns. 'What have I done to him?' I thought to my self as I picked the rose up out of the vase I bought after the series ended. Suddenly I heard a familiar voice coming from my mirror. In shock my raven black hair whipped the air as I turned around. There in the mirror was a boy I loved... Alejandro. I walked over to his reflection, but before I could drop a tear he vanished. Was he some type of optical illusion that my mind created? I lied down on my bed and wished that he would appear again, but all I saw was my purple colored walls and a heart broken girl staring back at me in the mirror. I felt a chill go up my spine as I sat back up on t
Those Three Words.I know you lie,Those Three Words.2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
When you say those three words.
Those three words that are always said to much,
But never meant enough.
I love you.
You love me?
Or do you like me?
Do you even know what these three words mean?
I think not.
I think it is more a case of what has been taught to you,
Incorrectly, of course.
Because this isn't a natural thing.
To say you love me.
I find it insulting.
You do not tell people you love them,
But instead you show them.
By doing this, my friend.
You will gain the one thing I will show you in return.
I will never tell you that I love you,
Because I don't wish to insult you.
But I will show you that I care,
Even if that's not enough.
So, drop the lies,
And lose the deceit.
Because I see through your fiendish,
And awful words.
I love you.
But you don't, you see.
Because what you have done is muddle up to words.
Lust and love.
Ring Toss (A Rimahiko fanfiction)Summary: That boy who worked at the Ring Toss stand was mocking her again. Could she throw a plastic ring over a peg and win the prize? She accepted the challenge, just to shut him up. Rimahiko drabble, AU-Ring Toss (A Rimahiko fanfiction)3 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
A/N: Ok, I'm honestly not a fan of this pairing. But this idea came to mind, and they were the best pairing that suited them, in my opinion. It's been a while since I've written anything, so what better way to get back into writing than by writing some drabbles? Enjoy.
Carelessly, she threw the ring. It flew, only to fall short of its goal.
He smiled. "You were close. Would you like to try again?"
She wasn't sure what was mocking her more; the lost prize or his voice. "How foolish. This game is impossible to win."
His reply was never heard. Someone called her name, and she retreated back into the fun, light-sprinkled backdrop without looking back.
She wasn't smiling. It made him want to grab t

Tahno looked up to see the avatar studying him with a raised eyebrow.
"What are you doing out so late?" she asked, with a hint of curiousity.
Tahno glared at Korra and sighed.
"Why's it your business, uh-vatar?"
She hated when he called her that and he smirked slightly when he saw her scowl.
He was sitting by Republic City's pond and was making tiny ripples in the water with a stick he had found earlier. He watched as a small fish surfaced and cautiously swam to the rings. When the first ripple touched it, the fish dove back under the coldness of the pond.
"Come on," Korra started and she dismounted Naga. "I can take you home if you'd like."
Tahno looked at his reflection in the clear water and found Korra's image behind his. He examined her and smiled to himself but it quickly vanished. Korra was beautiful, no doubt about that but he held a secret hate for her. She didn't get her bending taken away, so why did he?
"I don't have anywhere to go," Tahno managed to spit the words

Tahno swiped his hand across the water in the bathroom sink and cursed when nothing happened.
He tried again but no water raised from the sink's surface. He threw his head back and yelled at the ceiling, banging his fist into the wall, leaving a slight indention. He tried with all his might to choke back his tears. He wanted more than anything to have his bending back but it seemed like it never would return to him.
Finally, tears began to drench his face as he fell to his knees. He clutched his arms, letting out all of the feelings he had hidden from others for so long now. He cried and cried, remembering his bending, what he was able to do with it. His old life, all his friends, his popularity;
Everyone had abandonned him. People had only loved him for his bending. But now he had nobody.
Well... He had somebody.
He heard a slight knock on the bathroom door and looked up at it.
"Hey... Can I come in?"
Shit. Shit, shit, SHIT!
