Everything's Alright (Draco x Reader) (REQUEST)The sound of boiling cauldrons and knives slicing ingredients filled the room as students chattered happily with their neighbors. It was one of those rare days in which Professor Snape allowed us to choose our own partners for brewing potions and everyone was ecstatic. The dark dungeon seemed to hum with energy, the lights casting a warm glow over what was usually a cold echoing dungeon. Everyone was cheerful. Everyone, that was, except for my partner and I.Everything's Alright (Draco x Reader) (REQUEST)3 weeks ago in General Fiction More Like This
Draco and I stood in silence as we moved through our work; the only sounds coming from him were the steady sounds of his breathing and him crushing ingredients into the pot. I was offering him the same treatment, the tension between us stronger than rope made out of steel. Even though we were technically dating each other, we acted as though we barely knew one another. It wasn’t just today that he’d been acting like that. It had been for the past four months.
It was December now, and his silence and tense behavior had b

When he was gone, you remembered the insignificant things. The faint waft of chlorine that clung to him after every practice and well performed race always seemed to heighten your senses. Every brush of your fingertips along water-slick skin served to remind you that he was trying… trying to win, to improve for a dream that he held so dear. You remembered… everything.
But, does he?
“I’m leaving for Australia tomorrow.”
His boyish voice usually carries the charm of warmth. A kind that influences you to partake in his conversations as the innocent soul you are. And even though his utterance brings a sharp pang of woe, you’re too young to r

The moon was high in the sky, the sun long forgotten by now as the stars danced around to penetrate the darkness. The hour was late, and the slight chill created the perfect conditions for a sleep-friendly atmosphere. And yet, your insomniac of a son still decided that he couldn't sleep. Or rather, he didn't want to go to sleep. Little Justin had become quite the literature lover; even at such a young age, and this fondness of book required his father to read to him every single night. After all of children's books had been read, his little mind was still abuzz, unable to rest properly at the moment.
"Daddy, one more book, please? Please?" he begged.
With a sigh, Levi glanced down at the boy; all bunched up like a caterpillar in a cocoon. His precious little eyes, identical to yours, left him unable to resist the lad's request.
"Fine...there's one more. It's a book daddy just got a few days

Slamming the decaying wooden door shut behind him, I focused with concerned eyes as Stephano deliberately slid down to the floor, panting heavily.
"I knew you were telling me to go the wrong way!" Stephano exclaimed, clasping me tightly in his clenching fingers, squeezing my fragile being.
"I'm sorry Stephano! I'm sorry. . . " I murmured as he stood, regaining his breath and clearly ignoring me as he placed his golden scimitar away, causing me to whine.
"Aw, come on, be a bro Stephano.." I complained as he continued to ignore me even further, stretching his long limbs above his head tiredly.
"Stephanooo. . . " I pressed on, my small voice desperate as I tried to capture the Frenchman's attention.
He shook his head as he began walking again, finally tuning me in to capture what I was saying, "Just don't make a noise. . ."
I complied, keeping my mouth quiet as we continued adventuring. Stephano carried me for what seemed like hours that were, in reality, only slow passing minutes as we w

In the silence
I can hear the lyrics
Of my mind's awareness
You're hidden from the world
Only to be known by me
My fate is foretold
You're the end that I wait to see
The remnants of rust consume
The taint covering my heart seeps through
I am dying from a cancer that was caused by you
All it took was a wound
From the kiss that would seal it soon
I just wish that I could take you down too
From something so blissful / Bore a mask of deceit
I remain so resentful / I don't know what to believe
A being that could damage / A feeling that could heal
You pushed me over the edge / You made me wish it was real
I find myself pathetic
That you were just an anesthetic
I used you until you fulfilled your purpose
Now I don't know who the real monster is
What have we really become of this?
One whose heartless and the other is painless
These dark mirrors
Are the protective barriers
Of the true lies of one another
You were my angelic desire
A hope that I h

Taking the waist-apron on, the man with cherry colored hair took a deep breath and looks at himself in the mirror.
"Alright, a new day and new faces to greet." he said to the reflection of himself with a smile which faltered a little when he sees the photo on the mirror's tree frame almost fall off. Taking the bottom of the photo he took it away from the sticky and loose adhesive his eyes got glued to the face of a woman playing with a five years old boy. "I miss you, mom." he whisper and the pad of his thumb caress the picture carefully.

The moon eyed boy tells me that he loves me, but I've fallen out of love with life, and some skills, you can't relearn. I don't recognize the sound of my own voice anymore and my old words catch in my throat like a beautiful lie from centuries past.
For the first time, I am the girl I always wanted to be, apathetic and unafraid. But girls like me don't hide at night, stitching their souls into patches of their skin while the moon makes it's way across the sky. It's hard to be fearless when you let fear take you, grab you by the hand and whisper through the darkness.
But late at night, when the summer sky is swallowing us and we are more than happy to be consumed, allowing the dark silence to wipe our slates clean, I find myself missing the girl with the sun

I've been everywhere
I've seen everything
I don't want to see it again.
Bad things happened.
As they should,
but you see
these things didn't make me feel good.
They were like thousands of knives,
poking at my skin
Wanting desperately to break in.
I have taken him away,
His life and heavenly soul.
Would it matter
If I didn't regret a thing?
I'd be a murderer and a thief
Since the day I was born
Sprouting was the ground knotted and twisted
My limbs creak with pain
My heart beats with anger
Of these things I've done
Because darling, as you can see
I am not real
I never want to be
I'd regret the moments that I would see
You don't enjoy life so much
When you realize you're not loved.

It was the day before Christmas, and all through the Lucky Cafe, not a creature was stirring, not even Moochi.
Well, that was a lie.
In a room tucked in the very top level of the house, a place that had been converted from an attic almost ten years back, was a young boy of fifteen. It was almost midnight on Christmas Eve, and Hiro, the ever-prepared one, was trying to wrap his Aunt’s gift that he had designed and printed off from the 3D printer just an hour ago. It took him forever to find enough of the same wrapping paper after that, and the teenage boy was, admittedly, terrible at wrapping to begin with.
Hiro sighed as another piece of tape got stuck in his messy locks. He tugged it loose, taking a few stray hairs with it. He winced as he stared at the box, tucked inside a machine that would help his aunt glaze donuts faster and easier (which was one of her best sellers). Hiro glared at the box in annoyance once again.

Two am is when the traffic lights switch over to flashing amber beams and the memory of your ex-lover's curves burn themselves into your fingertips, into the backs of your eyelids. Two am is when the idea of going home alone empties all your veins and hollows out your bones, and you think of all the people you could have loved. "Welcome," a voice spoke as a young girl stepped into the pitch-black room. "Please state your name."
"I-I'm Kate Yamaki," the young girl spoke nervously. This wasn't what she had expected when she signed up.
"Take the Styler from the desk next to you."
Kate reached over, taking the small device in her hand. She noticed the device was round in the front while it then led back into a small handle from there. A small flap covered a set of buttons and graphs on the back of the device. "Now what?"
"Step forward and use the device to capture this," the voice spoke once more and in an instant a small yellow rodent jumped forward. It had long pointy ears that ended in black spots at the top, while its tail was long and shaped like a lightning bolt. It also had smell red circles on its cheeks where electricity seemed to spark from. "Simply pull the switch on the Styler and the Capture Disc will release from it. Guide the Disc around the Pikachu and capture it."

Ten years and no flying cars
Just zoomed-in poon of TV stars
Good girls gone bad, reality shows
A decade blooms, and man, it blows.
No Rapture, no Jesus, no Holy Ghost
Except on some chick's cheesy toast
Where's my house that talks to me?
Screw this lame reality.
A president who sneaked inside
For a two-term party ride,
Towers falling, hate groups rising
(and bathroom stall infidelitizing)
Floods in Asia, floods in NOLA
My favorite song sells coca-cola
There's a war on this, a war on that
And it's all because of body fat.
Abu Ghraib and waterboards
Preachers falling on their swords
Sure I fucked him, but I'm no queer!

Glamor, scandals, twitter, drama
Mac ads by the Dalai Lama
ODs, emo, balloon boy flights,
It's our Garden of Earthly Delights.
Moral panics, paranoia
Patriot Act, so nice to know ya
Bay's action flicks weren't meant to be
A fucking documentary
I think we're growing up too fast
This whole damn century's half-assed.

____ stared admiringly at the golden necklace dangling mid-air as she held it directly in front of her eyes, not noticing the compartment getting occupied by another student.
"How long are just gonna look at that, __l/n__?" A boy asked, snorting. ____ looked up from the necklace, uninterestedly looking at the tall boy sitting on the other seat. "None of your business, Zabini." She stated simply, wearing the necklace instead.
Given the fact that she's the slytherin prince's best friend and is also a slytherin house member herself, she never got along with the particularly annoying boy, Blaise Zabini. Although she gets along well with Draco's two lost puppies, Crabbe and Goyle.
To her, Crabbe and Goyle are actually quite nice once you get to know them, unlike Zabini, who would keep on bothering you until he gets your attention. And now might just be a good example.

It was more than likely that she would get fired whilst the rest of the taurs might get suspended from the school or expelled just for the sake of the students.
Their voices faded into silence as they left the room. I excused myself and headed over to the teacher's classroom, seeing if I could warn her. It was ten minutes past after the workshops, it was no surprise that the classrooms were empty and the hallways were being vacated. From what my nose could tell me, the teacher was long gone.
Not finding Miss Hawthorne proved to be a small disappointment, yet there was nothing I could do against it. I stayed at the school after class more than I should have and it was only a matter of time before my parents would call asking where I was. "No poin

So, the night of our wedding day, John and I just sprawled our clothes across the chairs in our fancy hotel suite and crawled into bed. Both laying on our backs, looking up at the beautifully painted ceiling, we sleepily recalled our favourite moments of the day. Like when his father was the first to get on the dance floor and make a total fool of himself, and when my maid of honour made half the room tear up with her beautiful speech about how happy we’ve been from the very start.
I nuzzled my face into his collarbone and murmured, “This has been the best day of my lif
