Astrid was riding her Stormfly to the dragons nest's to do some exploring.
She let her dragon go off for a bit to do it's own thing since she wanted to be alone while on her personal quest.
While there she begins exploring the forest area's of the island to the far right of the Dragon lair entrance. After about two hours of exploration she lies down on-top of a massive boulder gazing up at the clouds without any thought in what she was doing, just blissfully happy. She heard a slow shaking in the bushes not far from her, she lifted herself just a slight bit to turn her head to see what it was. She saw a long tail slowly slither away from her into the bushes. Astrid didn't seem to recognize the dragon tail and didn't see the dragon's body despite the fact there was little coverage other then that one bush and tall grass beside it.
Her curious got the best of her as she jumped off the boulder and moved towards it, hopping she wouldn't startle whatever dragon it was. As she got to the bush she started walking slower with her hands slightly in-front in case it decided to pounce. Out of the tall grass to her left was a strange head that looked at her with a smile. "Hello!" the creature said, Astrid looked at it in a confused manner, looked to her left and right real quick before looking back with a lying smile, she did an un-easy wave to the creature saying Hi back to it.
The more like dragon slowly slithered towards he giggling, it then lifted it's head slightly above her head level, "How goess it Girl-cub" he said basically staring her down. Astrid moved back a single step, not sure what to make of this thing "uhh.. nothing much" Astrid moved her hair back a little with her right palm, "How are you doing?"
The creature giggled again and responded "Jussst looking for ssomething to eat." Astrid was scared and not doing a good job at hiding it physically, she was unarmed in this adventure and didn't know how this dragon worked. She pointed to her right and lied, hoping it would save her "I think there's a flock of sheep over th--" Astrid was cute off her after looking into the dragon's eyes. Coloured circles beamed from them and that caught her attention. In less then 5 seconds, Astrid's eye's themselves started beaming the same spirals. The dragon it's head forward and down towards her waist and started coiling around her. After two loops he moved in front of Astrid's face to check on her hypnosis. She was letting out a gaping smile.
The dragon's tail slid down to take off her armour, "This will get in the way, I don't like extra's on my meat!"
Been wanting to draw Kaa with Astrid for about a year and finally got around to actually doing it. Really loved the film, I think it's one of Dreamworks best, probably the best of Dreamworks animations.
This is a remake of an old deviation, as you can see. You might want to read it again, because now it was turned into a collab with the good old *ElectricGecko. For some reason the guy is amazingly good at rhyming. The original version of this page, written in Portuguese, had rhymes, and this English version hadn't any. You can blame the fact that English isn't my native language and I couldn't make rhymes, it was extremely difficult for me at the time (I'm able to do some now, with Super Mario World Sonnet and Tetris Attack Haiku). But this ladies and gentlemen, this was a true challenge.
Firstly, the script was pretty good without rhymes in English. People looked at it and said "ah cool" but they were not moved by the pleasure of reading it; you know what I mean? Brazilian people who read the original version could have a much more flowing reading, and I wanted you guys to be moved by the same pleasant effect. Besides, who doesn't like reading rhymed stuff?
The Master gave me a huge lot of help with that little discomfort that was poking my head for months long. I simply couldn't read it in English, it was NOT the same thing without the rhymes. So, I said "help", he said "if I rhyme it I'll need to change some of the text, which is pretty good", and I said "no, don't mind, changes for life" blah blah and that's the final result. It's WAY more faithful to the original than I actually thought it was gonna be! This crazy dude made a great, great job, and I'm specially thankful!
The ending verse was made by me, for he allowed me to make the changes I wanted. His rhymes are truly AMAZING, but the last one made us to think a lot. It originally said "He just runs, unsuccessfully trying to find..." "...something..." "...other than himself." And, as you may know, there's not any rhyming word to "himself" apart from "shelf" and "elf". Ah well. I'm glad it turned out good.
Thanks again, Gecko! "LIFE" is written with the font "Canadian Participant" for some reason.
Being a superhero does not have an age barrier, as many young and aspiring heroes exist. In the opposite sides of the worlds of Nickelodeon and Disney, there exists two heroes who have been competing for quite a while:
Danny Phantom: The Halfa ghost boy who saved Amity Park from numerous ghost attacks.
Jake Long: The American Dragon of New York City, dedicated to protecting the cities magical inhabitants.
In this battle of teen heroes, the powers of ghosts will face the might of dragons in a magical and intense DEATH BATTLE!
Rage is a powerful emotion. It can force out the beast within all of us that seeks to destroy. It is a force that can be controlled or unleashed on all. And there are no greater beings of rage like these two:
The Incredible Hulk: The rage fueled being that has rampaged across the Marvel Universe, leaving wakes of destruction in its path.
Asura: The Demi God that took down the Gohma and gods in a rage fueled path of vengeance for his daughter.
In the biggest clash of destroyers, the World Breaker will clash against the Destructor in a rage powered clash that will shake the very boundaries of the universe in a monumental DEATH BATTLE!
Apocalypse was born in Egypt during the First Dynasty (around 3000 BC). Born with gray skin (although Apocalypse's skin color is sometimes depicted with different human pigment variations) and blue-lipped with natural facial markings, in the settlement of Akkaba, he was abandoned as an infant, but found by a band of desert nomads called the Sandstormers, whose leader, Baal, sees the child's potential power, decides to raise him as his own, and names him En Sabah Nur. He is taught the philosophy that the tribe lives and dies by: survival of the fittest. Nur and Baal are the only Sandstormers to survive on the day that General Ozymandias and his army destroy the Sandstormers tribe, as they find refuge in a sacred cave before it collapsed. Baal eventually dies from lack of nourishment after weeks of deprivation, but before he does, he admits to Nur that he had believed him to be a savior foretold in ancient prophecies who is destined to overthrow the pharaoh Rama-Tut. The young Nur vows to take revenge on the pharaoh and claim his destiny. He hides himself as a slave in Tut's city, where he has visions of Egyptian gods who reveal his great destiny. The pharaoh Rama-Tut, in actuality an earlier incarnation of Kang the Conqueror who had come back in time to locate the young Apocalypse and take him under his wing, tries to convince Nur to join him, but the young mutant savagely attacks the pharaoh only to be taken down by the conqueror's futuristic weapon. Nur survives, and tries to rescue Nephri, Ozymandias' sister, who had become attracted to the mysterious slave, but Nur is ultimately rejected by Nephri for his inhuman appearance, and she turns to her brother for protection in her panic. Heartbroken by this final rejection, En Sabah Nur's prodigious mutant abilities fully emerge in his enraged state, and he renames himself Apocalypse. Rama-Tut flees the former slave's rampage, while Nur uses his advanced technology to enslave and transform his former tormentor, Ozymandias, into a blind seer made of living stone, who would forever chronicle Apocalypse's future destinies. Fifty years later, Nur revisits Nephri, now an elderly Egyptian Queen on her deathbed, and mocks the loss of her beauty and vitality, in contrast to his own unchanged appearance, despite the passage of time.
Darkseid is the ruler of Apokolips and Darkseid's Elite and was a major player in the cosmic war that was the Final Crisis. Unto the hell that is Apokolips came Darkseid, malice personified, a merciless tyrant who demanded unwavering devotion and abject fear from all his subjects. A being of unparalleled strength, Darkseid nevertheless preferred not to sully his gloves with combat unless provoked to action. His eyes emitted the formidable Omega Sanction, ray beams that could disintegrate, teleport, or resurrect depending on the dread lord's wishes. His sole mission in life was to find and gain control over the Anti-Life Equation which would give him the means to usurp all free will in the sentient universe.
