This is a very quick one I did. Not such great result, but ah well.... I guess I had to get it off my list :cough:

I didn't want to use any of the most famous Moscow views so I went for the Seven Sisters.
I must say that Stalin did have a great taste in architecture....

I know you guys like my fantasy stuff so I'm trying to alternate between that and more oldschool, colorful urban stuff. I love doing both.
This one I made today, it was a lot of fun. Some parts of buildings I used include the georgous parlement building in Budapest,
and a couple of great ones from my home country: Belgium :D

EDIT: Added flying ships 'n shit!

There comes a time in every concept artist's life, where he/she must create an epic scifi city with ridiculously large monolithic buildings and an overall sense of cliché. Despite my persistent avoidance, that time has come for me today...... :surrender:

Run to the cities of the future, take what we can and bring it back home.

This one was so much fun to do! Worked on it quite a while because I wanted to combine my fantasy style with some more urban stuff.
Also the composition was quite a bit of work, adding the dogs really helped making the eye twirl around in the painting.
Hope you guys like it! :meow:

*pulling hair out for 6 years already*

Anyway, this was fun, rendering an interior that could fit in the game world, now if only they'd offer me a job...
All done in Photoshop, no 3D or nothin.

Most people think those massive high rise buildings you see in China are dull and ugly but for some reason I think they have a lot of character actually. Especially the filthy ones.
This piece was made to convey that feeling, hopefully some can relate.
I used a lot of photos I took in Hong Kong, Chongqing and Shanghai for this one. Hope you like it, I'm quite happy with it :giggle:

So I was planning to wait a few weeks, buuuuut I became impatient.
And since Tokyo was the obvious winner of the poll, here it is! Perhaps Moscow is next nonetheless, we'll see...

It was hard to choose which part of the city to show, but in the end I went for Shibuya! Love that area
