One of the many fairytale-themed paintings that debuted at my Fairytale Fabulous solo show at Downtown Disney's Pop Gallery, here is "Rapunzel at Twilight." An "odalisque" pose portrait piece of Rapunzel during a quiet moment. I've often thought Rapunzel would be rather bored up in her tower, particularly once twilight came around and there wouldn't be much to watch out the window. I've given her a baroque/rococo feel with her ornate surroundings and pampered look to her - a lovely painting! The original acrylic painting SOLD at the show, but prints & canvases are avalilable. One of the many fairytale-themed paintings that debuted at my Fairytale Fabulous solo show at Downtown Disney's Pop Gallery (also one I painted "live" as a demonstration at one of their "Jasmine Paints LIVE" events,) this is "Cinderella at Midnight". As the clock strikes midnight, Cinderella is caught running from the palace into the forest, leaving her glass slipper behind. Her royal coach has transformed back into a pumpkin, her gown into patched peasant rags, her coachmen into white mice. Painted with a pose and palette reminiscent of the Pre-Raphaelites, greens are very lush against the sparkling magical dust and Cinderella's shining hair. The original acrylic painting & Limited Edition Canvases can be found at Pop Gallery at Downtown Disney at the Walt Disney World Resort. Prints are also available

The eighth installment in my Poisonous Beauties series - a series of works featuring portraits of faery creatures and various poisonous plants! #8 in this series features the Castor Bean plant! We had some growing in the corner of our yard when I was a little girl and my dad would always warn us "stay away from that!". Very pretty though! . And of course, so is this fairy... This painting debuted and was sold at FaerieCon 2012, but I have prints & posters now available. My own original acrylic painting.

One of my favourites so far, a very special piece to me. This painting has a surreal dreamlike quality to it. A girl in a crumbling yet magnificent mansion is answering an antique telephone, with geraniums sprouting from it. Inspired by a line in the song "Glass Hotel" by Robyn Hitchcock. The original acrylic painting is SOLD, but prints & canvases are avalilable. My original acrylic painting. Prints available at [link] and [link]

Absinthe Butterflies! This lovely fairy is sitting in a misty forest, surrounded by brilliant absinthe green coloured butterflies. They almost seem to glow in the gloom of the trees! The fairy's eyes are the same luminous green.... This original acrylic painting debuted and was sold at MegaCon 2013, but prints & posters are still available.

I painted this piece specifically to help out Robin Sullins - many of us fantasy artists have donated these paintings to help raise money for her Relief Fund. Featuring one of my traditional liquid eyed faeries, I wanted to symbolize somebody emerging from the gloom with a bright gift (the flowers) attracting magic (the butterflies!). There is a sense of hope and a classic almost Rococo feel to this painting. 100% of the proceeds of the original acrylic painting goes to Robin's Relief Fund, prints & posters are now available! My own original acrylic painting, painted on a wood/masonite panel.

Little Owlyn is one of my owl fairy characters - here she in the springtime! Cherry blossoms are one of my favourite flowers, and remind me so much of Spring. Owlyn here is shown with one of her great horned owl companions. You may recognize my owl fairies from my "Call of the Night" line of figurines with the Hamilton Collection. And my new Owlyn costumes from California Costumes now in Halloween stores, Target, Walgreens, etc. And if not - check them out! A book featuring Owlyn (including poetry inspired by her) is being published later this year too - she's pretty special! This is my own original acrylic painting.

Somewhat of a continuation along my Flower Faeries series, this is Iris Enchantment! I titled her this both because of the iris flowers and also because to the particularly striking sea coloured irises of her eyes. I love this painting, I enjoy painting flowers and butterflies, and this one has them both! I debuted her at the Celebration Art & Wine Stroll - the original sold at the show, but prints & posters are now available! My own original acrylic painting, painted on a wood/masonite panel. "Queen of Bees" - one of my special debut paintings for FaerieCon 2012. The original itself sold at the show but I have prints & posters available! There is a slightly sinister feel to this Rococo style portrait of a beautiful queen and her bees. There are a lot of little bee details in here as well as historical portraiture references - she is wearing a replica of a Minoan bee pendant from ancient Crete, Napoleon's "Bee with Laurels" imagery, a lot of fun stuff packed in here. I also love the bees themselves - you can even see some honeycombs peeking out from underneath her skirts! This is my own original acrylic painting. My original acrylic painting.
