All I need is you - RequestAs soon as the so-common alarm set off yet again in the early hours of the morning, Sonya’s dream soon became a blur, showing the day was just starting. In a groan she rubbed her golden eyes and sat up, her feet barely touching the ground. She wasn’t fully awake yet, so, as if moved by a robot, she just walked out of her bed and got herself dressed. It wasn’t until she washed her face that she noticed something was off… Her eyes felt as if they were on fire. All I need is you - Request2 months ago in General Fiction More Like This
“Dad! It’s Saturday!” Her body fell back onto the already made bed, regretting to not have paid attention to the day. She even tried to block the sun rays, which were just entering the window, with a pillow above her face. Much to her dismay, a white-gloved hand pulled it away.
“Let’s play it different today!” The male voice was none less from the famous Mobius hero Sonic the hedgehog. He pulled his daughter from an arm and into the kitchen; the lonely small table sitting

It formed from hate
It grows from pain
It shies from love
It feeds off of fear
And it lives alone
Those who exist in this world are cursed to be alone
They hide in the dark
Too absorbed by their own fear
Such fear morphs into hate
They will never know love
And so they shall only feel pain
Before long all that is left is the pain
The agony of feeling alone
No partner to share ones love
Only the dark
And the growing hate
Of living in fear
No one ever tried to understand their fear
To learn from their pain
They were too focused on their hate
They believed that they were all alone
They did not know they could defeat the dark
With the power of love
For it is love
That is the cure for fear
It is pure, even in the darkest of dark
It can heal all pain
It touches those who are alone
And it is the enemy of hate
So if everyone put aside their hate
And everyone embraced love
And learned that they will never be alone
They will have nothing to fear
And they will no lo
Live Strong I walked into school like nothing happened I didn’t leave any sign that I was crying. Everyone in my first period class ignored me as usual but I sat in my spot next to the window. The sun was out but I didn’t care I had lost my best friend, who I loved dearly. We had grown up together and were as close to each other. Last weekend we had had a fun time at the mall. She always loved to shop while I just loved to watch her face when a store she loved had something she wanted.Live Strong8 months ago in Settings More Like This
I never knew a person with so many shoes and clothes. She could have made her own store with all her clothes. Each of them color coordinated. I loved all the memories I had with her when we were younger. As we played Barbie and Bratz dolls, also the time we had a tea party in the backyard listening to our mothers inside chatting then we would sneak in and see who could agitate their mother the f

Tall and proud and strong
And on a limb there sits a nest
And from this nest a song
It doesnt sound like much at first
Just chirps and squeaks and cries
But listen closely and youll hear
A tale from the skies
It all begins with two young chicks
At their parents side
Learning all they need to know
To live and to survive
Fly high and free, and eagle says
Take every chance to dive
Eat many fish so you will grow
And proudly you will thrive
As great bald eagles you are seen
As symbols of a nation
Power, honor, strength we have
We have survived throughout the years
Through trials caused by man
And like the people of this land
We always rise again
As long as you are in this nest
Theres no need for alarm
Well guard you from all predators
And keep you safe from harm
Soon youll fly away from here
And leave this place to roam
But you will come again someday
Because this is your home
And you will tell you
The Copyright Of NatureOh pathetic small life forms, you don't have the slightest idea I have been keeping my eyes on you. I know you believe you are safe under your artificial houses. I am very aware that a feeling of conformity has settled itself upon their hollow hearts for ages. Humans... Stupid weakling animals, you may laugh, believing you have won the war, but you have yet to see my triumph card. As for now, you may sleep in your artificial world; just raise your ears and listen to my warning: Don't dare to cry onto my feet and surrender... so quick. Fun always must accompany great plans....
"Aah!!" A loud yelp echoed through the open fields. Following the origins closely, you could easily spot down a young boy, no older than 10 years, falling down from what you would call a "bed" to crash against the ground.
The poor boy had to rub his back to ease up his pain before standing up uneasily. It had been yet ano

The chill in the breeze,
The frost on the ground,
Crisp on a moonlit night.
A young boy's figure
Glides through the streets,
His breath a clouded fog.
Eyes like crystals,
Hair like snow,
He walks with staff in hand.
Alone in the world,
Unseen by all,
He strides like a ghost through the town.
Young children seen
Through a window pane,
Bask in the glow of the hearth.
Unseen goes the boy
Who stares unnoticed and lost
At the joy before his eyes.
A tentative move,
A soft hand to the glass,
Which freezes beneath his touch.
He turns away,
To the dark of the night
And raises his head to the sky.
A tear flows unseen,
Silent and soft,
To be dashed on the frozen earth.
Calling winds forth,
Around him to swirl,
His feet lift off from the ground.
Invisible and alone,
He flies higher until
He melds with the sky and the stars.
"I want to be seen
And I want to be heard."
Only one hears this desperate boy's cry.
The Man in the Moon
Stares down on the scene,
At the lost and forgotten child.

Don't pretend to know me,
Don't pretend to care,
Don't think you're clever;
I can see in your eyes, there's nothing really there.
Don't lend a hand,
Don't ask if I'm okay,
Don't think I'll trust you,
When I know you'll look the other way.
Don't be nosy,
Don't be mean,
Don't cry for attention,
Don't make a big scene.

Is it the cold, dark smile of a culprit?
Is it the frigid glow from his sharpened blade,
Or is it the fear of a child, alone and afraid?
Is it as simple to explain as day is to night,
As ebony black is to ivory white?
Maybe its deeper, something unclear
Like the leap of an elk to the prance of a deer
Maybe it isnt as easy as cold
Or maybe its something that hasnt been told
Destiny At the Reach of a PenAren't there sometimes when you, while whistling and hoping around in pure content, step onto a new unknown land, and instead of being bathed into warm arms, you get to meet yet another face of corruption? Before it may have been a huge deal, being known to be focused on poor or dirty areas, and all people had installed upon their memories such fact and keep themselves safe away from such places. But now it may even happen beneath your own family, heck even inside your house it can be starting to grow. Yes, all dark matters, considered rarity in old times, have slowly transformed into leeches and now stand by our side in every single step our feet takes us. It has developed into a dark soul which inherits to the entire human race.Destiny At the Reach of a Pen3 months ago in Short Stories More Like This

Wrong, wrong, wrong, WRONG!
Everything is wrong.
'As then sun dew drips from her eyes'-
Do I really think that'll be good enough?
Hours spent on each piece -
Punctuated only by sound of ripping paper -
To lie crumpled upon my wooden floor,
Unable to be forgotten.
As the hours pass and the day wears on,
More and more worlds are crushed by my hands.
Realities sprawled upon a single piece of paper,
To die as quickly as they are formed.
A man's whose romance is torn in two,
A vampire about to meet his prey.
A werewolf standing against an army
And a boy facing the world alone.
These are the lives that I hold in my hand;
Fictional lives, but precious still.
Yet as soon as I see their imperfections,
I destroy the evidence in a throe of shame.
These crumpled masses that now surround me,
They aren't the proof of perfection's pursuit...
They are merely my feeble, worthless attempts,
To disguise my own ineptitude.

Midnight The moon is out and above the earth. Its reflection on the water as a ripple of silver, trees stands overhead their massive branches act like cricked fingers pointing at the water as if some secret treasure lay beneath the murky surface. Land curves along the water as if in a race. Then the land gets wider and wider until it has cut the water off completely. A wooden dock grows on the water, obeying its movement, it rises and falls. Chilling winds whiplash over it hissing as it goes. Squeaks com for the keepers of the night as they fly over orange and red flames. Strange dome-like fortresses surround the flames. Five chairs were closer to the flames as if watching the flames dance, wave like slithering serpents. All the chairs were dark green blending in to the forest, but one. A small red chair sat between two older chairs.Midnight9 months ago in Settings More Like This

A Typical DayA Typical Day3 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Arthur Kirkland had never been particularly good with children and every time he had always seen them playing in the streets or running through the fields without a care in the world he would always scowl at the little heathens and mutter about how one day they'd have to grow up. It was for this reason that he never understood why Francis had thought he would be a good father.
He had fought with his husband over the matter for an entire year but, as usual, he had lost the battle and that's how he ended up where he was now; sitting in the living room of their house leaning into his loves embrace and attempting to do his daily crossword while two little rascals ran around the house recklessly chasing each other up and down the stairs.
Arthurs eyebrow twitched in irritation "They've been running up and down the stairs for twenty minutes, don't they ever tire, Francis?"
"They're children, Arthur, they never tire." Francis responded, taking Arthurs pencil from his hand and erasing wh
