Oil on canvas. A woman with a reputation washes Jesus' feet with her tears, dries them with her hair and then uses expensive perfume to anoint them.

She wore the stars in the winter sky,
At her feet were fluttering wings,
In her hand was Moses' cane,
The Paradise and the Snake,
The sun rose within the mist,
And the Christmas Star shone among the leaves.

There, I finally finished it! A4, liquid aquarelle & blue ink (quickly-drying writing ink "Quink" :D )

Sadly, it's only scanned in part (there's stuff on the left and right side missing), because I got impatient with the small scanner I was scanning with at the library. (Never start scanning when hungry!)

Mahayag Beach, Tandag City, done in oil on canvas. A pity that I wasnt aware when I rolled it for safekeeping, it left fold marks on the painting. But I've remedied it immediately and mounted it on a plywood and framed it. Michael Barker, my former Australian boss in his ad agency saw it and decided to buy it. I wasn't able to take a final picture of it though when it was already stretched and back to its original condition. He brought it with him back to Australia.

Done way back December of 1989, the same year Ilo-ilo, Philippines, was struck by a devastating typhoon that left hundreds homeless. Yet despite of it, the government wasn't that quick to respond to the plight of the poor. Notice the familiar cloak of Santa that served as their shelter against the storm, but with the presence of the nozzle of an Uzi and a driftwood that formed a sickle, turned out to be that of the grim reaper instead for them.
Presented this to the well-known magazine, The Philippine Free Press as a cover or for a feature, but was denied.
Done in watercolor on illustration board.
