I cross the shores of the eternal waves.
Lightbeams are the rude intruders
That enter and leave and betray
Ever so blurred
The image of the Could Have Been remains.
I stare at the flicker
That dances and swings and searches
Ever so stunned
I'm shaking with the violent thought.
Darkness beach wants me to leave
So I can feel and mock and soothe
Ever so broken
An old tune reaches my brain synapses.
Waves crushing on the sand
So I have to move - forward or backward.
Cold or unknown.

The suns rays shone like normal on that day.
Maybe, he thought, today they would continue to play!
He longed for his wearer to wake but as he knew,
His owner liked to play jokes on him too.
He knew his owner so well, the tricks he liked to show.
Makes others so mad that even Cho Gath refused to grow.
Was he the one who tricked Malzahar to enter the Void?
Though out of everyone, Shaco still seems to be the most annoyed.
King Tryndamere and Queen Ashe fired him as their jester,
They just couldn't let Shaco's nature continue to fester.
He made them laugh as the object of ridicule and pain.
How his pride was hurt, a state that is hard to attain.
What makes taunting others so much fun?
Is it seeing their pain? Oh it makes my threads shake!
I don't think even Shaco realizes the damage he has done.
The innocence and happiness he seems to take.
As I waited for Shaco to come down I continue to think of the past.
How, even under constant hate, he continues to last.

As I see the place you were
My vision becomes a blur
My insides begin to churn
As my heart begins to burn
The heart I have is torn,
This new feeling of sadness being born
I want to run and cry
Though I don't understand why
You're nothing but a memory
All you do is leave me lonely
You cross my mind
Making everything unwind
Those words that made me feel strong..
If only they weren't so wrong,
The day you had to leave
I couldn't believe
You were gone
I'm alone every waking dawn
With only the thought of you
I don't need you
I don't want you
I leave the track,
Hoping I never have to go back.

Like I know who I'm using.
I can never tell when.
The changes keep changing me.
I don't always know what I'm doing,
I can't see when I'm changing,
untill I've already changed.
My life keeps crumbling.
I wouldn't be able to do this,
it's my curse which is my life.
Cries of a weak heart calling out,
crying, but won't shed a tear.
Hope dies and hope is born,
but my life has always been absence.
It's nothing that I should care of,
since I care of nothing else.
Let out the beast that you hide,
your facade doesn't work all the time.
Can you really live with those lies?
Soon it will start to react.
Don't deny what you already sense,
don't deny what you knew from the start.
This will over flow soon,
I've just scratched the surface.
Don't let the fear in my eyes scare you away.
Don't let my melting heart freeze you down.
There isn't that much precious to me now.
Consolation is all I tremble before.

Indian Potpourri IIISouth was simply superb. Josh had reached God's own country-Kerala. The profusely viridiscent landscapes glided past in slow motion as he ferried the lakes. There is the immensely variegated boat race festival known as Onam. Long boats are oared by brown, sinewy men-each one vying to win the race. The women dress in white and gold, slowly sway, carrying small mud lamps around colorful patterns drawn on the ground with powders in every imaginable color called Kolams also called rangolis in the north.Indian Potpourri III1 year ago in Settings More Like This
Huge elephants are indispensable during Onam. The pachyderms are scrubbed by the proud, smiling Mahouts in lakes and then adorned with red and gold brocade and paraded with howdahs (saddles). This is the land of Kathakali, the indescribably complex, holy and radiant dance-danced by an all male cast. They sit for hours together and paint their faces predominantly with greens, reds, black and yellow and emote subtly yet articulately displaying a plethora of histrionics-pomp, pain, piety and pur
Indian potpourri IIKarnataka- the painted sign proclaims (in three languages). The train grinds to a halt. The smell of metal is in the air. It's been a grimy journey. But eagerness and anticipation fills Josh Hartlett as he has reached Bangalore (Bengalooru)-all cosmopolitan. The itinerary says it was known as the pensioner's paradise a few years ago. However urbanity has hit it and made it more urban than most other cities. It is inhabited by a few foreigners. It was easy for Josh to see why. Its temperature was more pleasant than other cities.Indian potpourri II1 year ago in Settings More Like This
It is also known as the garden city. It has plenty of greenery. But it was sad as he realized that pollutants are taking their toll. There were the green, cool gardens- Lal Bagh, Cubbon Park-to name a few. He found decent food in Bangalore- Pizzerias, McDonalds, and KFC… Quaint British villas hobnobbed with huge skyscrapers.
He found most people speaking good English, Hindi and Kannada.
This is known as the Silicon Valley. He found colossal IT parks with delegate
Falling for a FriendI have a confession that I just have to makeFalling for a Friend8 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
If I do not say it, I fear I'll go insane.
I have a feeling that I cannot fight
It is eating at my insides
It is playing with my mind.
I really have to say this
Because you have a right to know
I feel this friendship is growing
Into the unknown.
I'm feeling something different
That I wish I knew.
I never knew I could feel this way
And feel this way for you.
I hope you don't get angry
I hope you don't get mad
Because I don't want to lose you
Forever I'd be sad.
I just wanted to let you know
This feeling that continues to grow
That I'm falling for you
Into this world called love.
I hope you aren't upset with me
Because I don't want to lose a friend
But I have this other feeling
Like I would never feel this way again.
So tell me what you are thinking
Yes, I know I'm scared.
But maybe if we hold on together
We can find a love to share.
So tell me what is going on
In that mind of yours
Because I don't want to drive myself crazy

I hope that you'll remember me
Even when all we know is gone
You'll always be in my mind
I'll never forget all the paths you helped me find
Please forgive my past mistakes
And I'll remember you had none
No matter where you are you'll be here
I'll never forget you, nor your tears
I'll always help you if you only ever asked
No matter how weak you think you are
In my mind you're always stronger
Even if you can't hold on or fight much longer
Then just stay to hear me say my last goodbye
I can't blame you for anything
Please don't have any regrets
You're life is your own to live
But I ask you live it well
I'll always remember the stories you'd tell
But I have one last thing to say
Before I say goodbye
I have to tell you that I love you
Like only a best friend could
So please remember that about me
I hope you give life another chance
Before you think death is what's coming next
That's the way it goes
Indian potpourriIndian food was at first unpalatable. Josh had been on an All India trek.He tried the Northern food that was available in every little shanty called Dhabas. It was mainly from a place called Punjab (lit. the land of five rivers). He grew to relish it. They offered bread made in a tandoor (a pot like oven).Fresh, hot and delicious. He tried tandoori murg (spicy chicken cooked in the tandoor), and kofta curries (vegetables/cheese, meat balls smothered in thick spicy gravies), kebabs (skewered edibles), Biriyanis (spiced rice) along with a generous supply of raw onions, curd, green chillies and lime wedges. Shut up! Shut the hell up! please take me away from my hell of a home and of my head.
I will give my ears a melody, and for three minuets and thirty one seconds I will be where I want to be and what I want to hear.
I want to stay here forever.., only that is how I wish it could be.

Thoughts can surround you,
bombard and astound few
they start a new day,
and end in a way
that fill up our heads,
at night in our beds.
Thoughts can employ,
and often destroy
our hearts and our minds,
when they chose to rewind
the yesterday voices,
that were often unkind.
Thoughts can bring laughter,
to now and hereafter
or send us within,
in a giant tailspin
and dread coming out,
to a world full of doubt.
Thoughts can bring starts,
that can overflow hearts
when your love has survived,
amongst battles contrived
the one thought that stays,
Is that life's good, always!
Death's DoorDeath's Door1 year ago in Short Stories More Like This
So far, life was good to me. It gave me a nice family, a nice home, and a nice childhood. I was only seven years old, and it was in the middle of December. My three sisters and I would play together when it was snowing really hard, making snowmen and angels all day. We didn't care; we liked it cold. One day, we stayed out for hours, throwing snowballs at each other and giggling as we get hit by one. Mother called for us to have dinner. My hungry and tired sisters ran inside, only gripping that they weren't staying out longer. I just kept playing, watching the snowflakes fall on my sleeves so I could look how beautiful they are up close, as they began to stick to my hair, my face, my eyelashes. My nose was running, my fingers were freezing underneath my red mittens, turning a faint blue.
I trudged through the beloved snow with my now-white grey boots all the way home. I twisted the knob in both directions, but it wouldn't open. I knocked as hard as I could only to have the snow in the r

The warth of your hug,
and those silly jokes you told,

I opened up to you, telling you everything.
& now thinking back I realize...
you told me nothing.
Nothing worth knowing, anyway.
Whatever happened? Did you just get bored?
I'm not always cheery, not always interesting,
but I thought best friends was more than that.
Maybe I was too eager,
eager to believe I finally had someone,
some to call my best friend.
you were the closest to it,
almost the closest I'd ever had.
now you're just every other "friend" in the hallway.

You do not always have to give me your hoodie when it is cold or raining.
I appreciate the gesture, but I hate seeing you freezing and getting wet. How about we just cuddle up together and keep each other warm?
You do not have to buy me gifts to keep me happy.
I don't need the world when I have you. If you do get me something, I'd much rather have something that you made yourself. I don't care how cheesy it is, it's the thought that counts and you can be sure I'll keep it safe.
You don't have to say "I love you" ten million times a day for me to know that you do.
Trust me sweetheart, the look in your eyes and the way you hold me says it all.
You don't have to be Prince Charming all the time.
Be mean, be playful, loosen up, get competitive, have fun with me! No need to stick with fairy-tale standards. Act like an idiot and tease mekeep things from getting boring.
You don't have to answer back to every single one of my messages.
