A white unicorn in royal robes and sparkling crown stood atop a snow-spotted peak. The blizzard responsible for it had been thwarted a full week prior--and hopefully, forever--but from her vantage point, its effects could still easily be seen across the horizon.
In its half-melted state, the snow highlighted the flora of the land below, causing several colors of the rainbow to shine under the moonlight.
Princess Platinum smiled. They almost hadn't done it. Heaven knew she hadn't contributed all that much to their cause.
At that moment, however, she at last heard the hoofsteps of one who had.
"Ahh, Clover the Clever," Platinum greeted the brown-robed violet unicorn who had just traversed the peak's leading trail. "Thank you for showing. I... did not wish to inconvenience you whilst you were napping."
Clover nodded with a light, airy smile. "I appreciate it. Still, I came as soon as I read your note. Is anything the matter?"
Platinum allowed a small, peaceful smile of her own to cros

#58) I have been a fan of MLP since Season 1, continued to be one through Season 2 and I am looking forward to Season 3. But as time has gone by, I feel my initial excitement for the fandom has faded alot. I am not looking to new stories as much, nor new fanart and instead, I'm focusing on other things besides ponies. Am I not really a fan any more because my focus isn't on ponies so much?
Answer: Being a fan of something doesn't mean you have to experience it all of the time. It's like having a best friend: you don't need to necessarily talk to them all the time, or even see them for a long time, and yet you still just know that they're an excellent friend to have. Much in the same way, being a fan of "Friendship is Magic" doesn't require you to actively involve yourself in it. It can be more of a subconscious thing, based more on your time already in the fandom, and your attitude in general towards what the brony 'thing' offers.
It's not unusual that you would somewhat

Candlelit the night
For a party of lone reject
Her treats denied
Dismissed behind her back
They left her out
Upset she lies, caters the fest
Abandoned she feasts
They liked her, enjoyed her games and plays
Like leper now
Those backstabbers, liars,
Cowards, avoid her
Alone you're left
alone you're left alone you're left
alone you're left alone you're left
"Why won't they care without my friends I've nothing left "
Alone you're left you empty soul alone you're left you worthless soul
To fill the emptiness
She feigns the pain inside
Aching heart caters the fest
With puppet plays
Abandoned she feasts

I'll never call you Rainbow Crash
And when you need me, Rarity
I'll be Spike and set you free
These feelings I can't hold back

Beautiful children we will make
They'll grow up and we'll grow old
A love story was foretold

We're under Cadence's spell
Two hearts becoming one
A bond that cannot be undone
I love you so much, you know
It all started with a TV show
My Little Ponies changed my world

But she was seen by the blind eyes of some to be hideous;
and they banished her, deeming her an exile.
She was a misfit, a novelty unlike any of her kind,
now bearing a name forbidden.
A name spoken so many times in petitions for her freedom,
written by those who've seen her well and fear her not,

leaving their writers but to cry for their beloved exile,
and sleeplessly await a miracle perchance inevitable for their tears yet unseen;
tears of acid rain for their former friends, whom are her masters.

A certain pegasus flew back into Ponyville to find the entire town completely deserted. She flew all around, obviously checking the homes of her friends. Twilight’s Golden Oaks Library was all books and no ponies, every dessert in Sugarcube Corner was left untouched by Pinkie Pie, Sweet Apple Acres had no work of Applejack’s done, the Carousel Boutique had no Rarity for all those dresses, and Fluttershy’s cottage didn’t have a single living thing even living there.
Once Rainbow Dash checked everywhere else, she did find one caped figure standing in front of the town square. Next to the figure was a life sized statue of Rainbow Dash, but it was wearing a helmet, a red cape with a golden zipper, red strap on and a cloud making a yellow lightning bolt on it, and four golden gauntlets with tiny white wings for each hoof of the statue. The helmet and gauntlets were rainbow colored and had golden coverings to assure they were made of metal.
Once she flew close enough,

He laughed and started to walk along a small path that continued deeper into the forest. You actually liked that sound, the sound of his laugh. You looked around but you knew that it was pointless to try to escape from him, he was much stronger and faster than you so you would only get caught. The only choice you had for now was to follow him. A long time you wondered why he had taken you here, but you sure were not complaining to be around this handsome guy! You could not resist staring

In order to form a perfect union, share our wits, our pride in accomplishments that enlighten people, that support people, that encourage people to move on. We know the truth in several ways unexplainable in words. Actions speak for themselves: BronyCons, drawings, vectors, exhibits, digitals, sculptures, plushies, and so on and so forth. Seeking toward a better life without external preferences including racism for we, the Bronies are a race! We live by our rules, our faith, our dignity, and pride. We do not care about the others. If you think not so, ask the fifty year olds or even the nineteen year olds who do as they please with the popular animation at their will. Do you hide in fear of the bullies surrounding you? No! We shall stand up strong to the hearts of many. Triumphing through the crowds of plenty as we say out loud, "We are the people, the Bronies".

It was in the early morning just outside of Ponyville, as Rainbow Dash was getting ready for a very special trip. Her saddle bag was on the floor of her house, as she began to load it with books she thought she might need during the trip. Equestria's capital city of Canterlot wasn't that far away, a few hours at most, but she and Twilight would be staying there for at least a week, so she wanted to be fully prepared.
"So, you'll be gone for a while, huh?" asked Stardrop, Rainbow's caramel-coloured roommate. She had a cutie mark of three raindrops and a blue mane. They shared a home made of solidified cloud floating just a few feet above the cloud layer, with another pegasus.
"Yep," Rainbow replied to Stardrop.
"Who's in charge of weather control while you're gone?"
"What!? You mean the new guy!? He just came here a few months ago. He's still getting used to our protocols!"
"So? He's got ple

A Changeling stallion, wearing a decorated general’s uniform collapsed to the decorative carpeted floor. He writhed about like a snake being stepped upon, screaming horrifically in sheer agony and kicking his legs wildly in the air in all directions. His hooves lashed at the sides of his head, tearing up the fur and flesh with long trails of blood dripping from the wounds. The wretched creature looked like he was undergoing an exorcism.
Sitting around the small, dimly lit room were a large group of Changelings, a mixture of stallions and mares, dressed either in similar grey uniform, each wearing a varying collection of medals and pins, or the muted kimonos befitting politicians. This was the Changeling Army General Staff, convening within the stronghold of the royal palace. All of them sat with the silent demeanour and perfect posture of statues, not one of them twitching at the sight of the suffering officer or his agonizing cries.

Rarity was quite nervous as she trotted with the two boys on their way to Fluttershy's cottage. She didn't know Cerebral Comet that well, but she did know she should. Not only was this stallion her boyfriend's new Guardian ad Draco, he was likely going to stay in town indefinitely, and might need to make a few friends.
There were plenty of suspicions that Comet was sent to replace Twilight. Which was certainly a disturbing thought to the young unicorn. It meant the Princess actually thought Twilight was replaceable. To think any of them could be easily replaced gave her chills.
The silence was nearly killing the mare, so she decided to break it the only way she knew how.
"So, Comet, how'd you get this assignment?" She asked bluntly.
The psychologist looked at the fashionista, smiled and sighed. "I'll tell you when I figure that out. Best guess the princess asked Lord Inkblot who his best student was, and inste

When Ed lazily opened his eyes the next morning, every inch of his body ached. He wondered if this was what being struck by lightning was like. Only then did he realize that he was in Mustang's lap. The Colonel was fast asleep with his head reclining against the wall. A little pang of guilt zapped Ed in the gut; Mustang was doing so much for his sake, putting up with his crap and running himself ragged. It was too bad that Ed wasn't interested in going through with breaking his addiction. Even though the symptoms of withdrawal had faded, his craving for the heroin had not diminished in the least. Still, he didn't want to make his betrayal of Mustang's efforts obvious; he wouldn't be able to inject himself here, anyway. He'd have

The birds chirped happily to one another as Edward sauntered up the hilled path. His boots clacked on the dirt ground, and he recalled the way to his grandmother's home, lost in thoughts. Maria Ross was alive. Not only that, but saved by the Colonel and protected in Xing with his help. Who knew Mustang could be so soft when he wanted to?
Ed paid no mind to the blinding sun. While its reflection on the ground was bright, something else caught his attention. A cemetery to the left faced him with graves. Ed gazed longingly to the tombstone he knew best, only to find something in the way. Abruptly, Edward halted on the path and made a small sound seeing a visitor standing at the grave that was his mother's. The stranger was tall and wore a huge brown coat, but his back was turned so the only feature of his face was his gold hair, tied in a ponytail. The wind stirred Ed's hair as he stared at the stranger. The blond ponytail of the visitor stirred too.
A sudden image flashed in Edward's min

The words continued to echo in Lyra's mind as she slumped against her sofa, slurping down the remains of a week-old bottle of soda. Drifting. That was what Davenport had said to her almost five months ago now when he'd noticed she had been sitting on the same bench in the park every day for the past four weeks. First thing in the morning until late afternoon, she had curled up on her favourite seat and watched the world go by, reliving happier times. Then she would go home, plant her hindquarters in the worn dimple in her favourite sofa, and spend the rest of the evening alone. It wasn't a bad life, by any means.
Idly she prodded her belly. It wobbled back at her. She was letting herself go: she knew it, everypony knew it. Davenport knew it, which is why he'd given her the job of Quill Clerk at his 'Quills and Sofas' store. After that, her life had continued with slightly more purpose: get up, go to work, count quills (even though there weren't t

The first dredges of the rising sun were just starting to spread up from behind the jagged peaks on the horizon, bathing the eastern sky in soft orange and highlighting every lazily drifting cloud a warm indigo, as the steady promise of a new day fought to break the early-morning haze. On the ground, a delicate layer of morning mist rose and billowed on a gentle, intermittent breeze, sometimes even obscuring the distant purple mountains. It was the kind of morning to take a pony's breath away and render them motionless in silent awe of the early autumn dawn.
A wave of relief washed over Nurse Redheart as daybreak's first light glinted off the waiting room windows. She drew in a deep breath, the beginnings of a sigh, which turned to a loud yawn as she exhaled. It had been a long night. The nurse fought to keep her eyes open, as if some great weight was persistent on dragging them closed. She hated working the night shift. Ponyville Hospital had been quiet, as usual, with nary

Only one pony knew about Spike's situation. The only one Spike could trust not to take offence or judge him for it. She told him that the other world was just a dream that his mind created to help him cope with the loss.
