Days of NanoWrimoDays of NanoWrimo2 years ago in 2011 More Like This
Day One: This is so going to work! Kiss everyone goodbye, except for the voices in your head. They'll help you along the way, really! Make sure you are fully supplied with coffee and chocolate. Word Goal: 1,667
Day Two: You don't really have a plot, but that'll come in time, you say. Don't be afraid to stay up a little late. DO NOT EAT ALL THE CHOCOLATE TODAY OR YOU WILL DIE! Word Goal: 3,333
Day Three: One tenth there, you tell yourself happily. Life is still good. Try looking at depressing poetry for more plot ideas, and read Shakespeare Cliff's Notes. If you've already read most of Shakespeare's works, constantly reference it in your novel, and smile because whoever you have read it first will either a: not get them and wonder where that came from, or b: think you are such a cool person because you've read Shakespeare. 5000
Day Four: Try explaining NanoWrimo to an outsider. Find some way to discreetly place a similar scene in your novel. Be sure the outsider is not a first reader. W
