2013: 5 Easy Steps To A Healthy HomeEvery season has it's ups and downs, but don't blame Mother Nature about that, that's just the way the cycle works. Be prepared for allergies and a mixture of weather to the point of not even knowing what you'll wear because one minute it's sunny and the next it's rainy or windy. That's all part of Spring. We can't expect the Earth to awaken from winter to Spring in some sudden heat wave, it takes some change to make everything settle down. Most people go through the changes with the seasons but barely any actually stop and acknowledge them as they come. I would encourage you all to do a few things as soon as possible while all this weather is changing and at the end I'll tell you why.

No  I just wanted to tell you I'll take fanfiction request, BUT:

My Chemical Romance Icon ContestI promise that I will run a literature contest soon, but I've been thinking about it, and I would like to have a new icon made. What better way than to hold an icon contest?

The icon must be 50x50.

The icon must feature My Chemical Romance in some way.

If you use the band members, do not use Matt, Bob, Mike Pedicone or James in it. I only want the four main members of the band.

If you use the band members, do not use pictures from the Bullets Era or the Danger Days Era.

When people write fiction, their first instinct is to believe that they are making up a whole different world. That isn't entirely true, even if it may seem to be so to the writer or even to the rest of the world. Something, after all, has to come from somewhere.
I believe that the very first step in the writing process is understanding that your writing is coming from a part of your mind that even you are not fully aware of. But this writing is a part of you. Therefore a writer is exposing a part of himself or herself that even he or she doesn't understand. And that makes every single writer very, very brave.

Well, looks like I'm back. Again. I've lost track of how many times I've disappeared. Houdini would be proud.
There was a lot of things I had to sort out, but I think I've gotten a handle on everything now and can start posting and everything again. I've been writing quite a bit while I've been gone, so I'll be editing and then posting whatever I've come up with.
Since most of you guys are students, I think you've all thought more than once about the complete futility of a lot that we learn. Because we're not really learning, are we? School tests our ability to memorize various problem solving techniques, not come up with new and innovative solutions, which is what we're supposed to be doing. And it's gotten to the point where students don't want to do anything new or challenging because they've gotten used to memorizing and passing tests.
