The League is known for its seriousness and most of all, its duty to preserve the harmony of Valoran; however, sometimes, even the hardy Reds -- a fitting nickname for the red-robed, stern leaders and creators of the League itself -- take time to 'smell the roses' and enjoy a good time. High Lord Morello, the Red most feared by the champions, decided to celebrate the League's newest arrival to the League, Varus, by throwing a ball.
All League champions and many prestigious summoners as well as normal citizens were invited -- the dastardly Lord Morello sent invitations which were especially threatening to Champions, for all to attend. "Champions who are not seen at the League Ball will be nerfed," the invitation threatened. "But those who do attend will enjoy a wide variety of quality of life buffs and be gifted with a complimentary Trinity Force."
Unfortunately, Irelia did not receive this invitation.
